I was really looking forward to a Glossier foundation but this one sinks into every crevice it can find on my face and clings to dry patches I didn’t even know I had 😢 I’ve looking forward to seeing a review of this from you!

Your hair looks fabulous, I like the style and the colour combo, it’s often difficult to get the look you want that’s also classy as we age. I’ve seen a few makeup artists being surprised at how much they loved this foundation formula.
So it’s not just me who can’t stand when brands do a foundation sample in those little flat strips lol. That drives me nuts since I don’t just want to do a swatch, I want to test the wear time! The Glossier sample looks decently generous so I am looking forward to trying it myself tomorrow! 😺

I feel you on the short hair! I have a pixie and love that I don’t have to deal with a lot of hair. It’s so easy to style and go. And I also like having an edge. I l look young for almost 41 and in the mental health field, so I need the edge to be taken seriously.
Introverts Unite!…Separately of course, in your own homes. Being around too many people for too long is a drain. Alone with a nice cup of tea saves me. I also enjoy makeup tutorials so thank you for those. I like light foundation, gotta get a sample of this one.
Funny story.... when my mom moved in with me a few years ago, I'd come home from work (where I spend literally the entire day talking to and being "on" for other people, teaching classes, in meetings, etc).... and I am just TOAST after work. My mom one day finally asked, "Why are you such a b*tch when you get home from work?" LMAO I was like, I have zero capacity for any more human interaction by the time I get home. Talk to me on the weekends =D lol
@@goow I used to teach at the university, and that’s one of the reasons I quit; you’re always on. There were other things, too, one of them teaching the same classes again and again. You need your woman cave when you get home from work :-)
Hi Shelly. We have the same pet peeve. Foundation samples are so little, that there's usually barely enough for 1 application. I'm glad that Glossier gave you enough to do a 2nd application. I am shocked by how much I like the Laura Geller baked balanced-n-brighten foundation. This is my new go to. I think you should check it out. I know it sounds like something you wouldn’t like but you may be surprised like I am. I have combo skin. Oily in t-zone and dry on cheeks. This does a wonderful job at hiding pores and does not emphasis dryness. I love it.
I've never been super into them, even with all the "boy brow" hype (which is exactly how I do my brows but their brow products have zero hold on mine).
Really appreciated tonight's Glossier stretch foundation. Now I am wondering if the Hourglass Veil Hydrating foundation would be as good. I'll have to go to Sephora and get a sample of the Glossier. You help me out so much with the videos and you also cost me some dollars, but I love makeup in my old age.

(I prefer sheer/ light coverage) I work 12 hr shifts sooooo hopefully it looks good and holds up! OH! Smashbox just came out with a new foundation, the claims look pretty good. Maybe you could review it? Please and Thank You! ⭐️
Hi I thought it looked really nice on you tbh and you can always use a dab on concealer on areas for more coverage - keeps the overall coverage light on the skin and still covers what you want covered. The shade was perhaps not 100% right and you probably need one shade up, especially going into Autumn/Fall and your Summer colour fading. As to new foundations/skin tints to try I haven't seen that many being released. I am interested in trying the new Hourglass tint and for an affordable option Catrice has a hydrating product in a dropper bottle with what looks like a decent shade range. I do like the newish Catrice eye brightener - it's good for dry skin btw and works far better on me than the Bobbi Brown version (which I found to be quite drying). Glossier is only available online where I live and shade matching in person is difficult enough tbh. My most worn foundation in the last couple of months is the Givenchy glow - it's very pretty on dry skin. best wishes.

Have u tried the Smashbox Halo I love it!!!! And it’s got coverage it just keeps getting better all day … this seems really light coverage like a skin tint but I already have some … I’m so torn lol I got the DM Yummy skin tint too I have too many 🤣🤣🤣
Wow you are the first reviewer who says anything good about this foundation. Others say that it transfers easily, breaks up after 8 hours, and feels drying at the end of the day.
Looks interesting. Sheer to light coverage is definitely my vibe. I'd love to see some more of those on you! :-) Nothing seems to last long enough on me, though. I do get sweaty, especially in the summer, but it's not like I'm working outside the whole day. I've been thinking about trying some kind of setting or fixing spray. What do you think?
Sprays can definitely help longevity. I got out of the habit of wearing them because so many dry me out, and I don't use them in reviews just to see how the foundation does without it. But I'd definitely say try whatever your favorite is because they do help. I definitely wear them when I have something I need my face to last all day for.

I’m older and more pale than you (VL2), and this foundation is incredible on my age/sun textured areas….disagree with you this is light coverage….To me, light coverage is a tinted moisturizer, and this performs much better than that.
Heck yeah I always pick foundation samples when they have them! I have a terrible habit of not returning the foundations that don't work out for me so if I don't have to buy it, even better. But of course the ones I try from samples are almost always the ones I end up buying the full size because I liked it.

I love glossier products. Never tried their foundation. I have 3 of their cloud paint blushes and their small palette in cool lilac.

I just filmed the Hourglass - it'll go up not this Friday but next! It's good but similar so price is probably the decision point between these two.
The extremely inexpensive Rimmel Kind & Free foundation/ skin tint I think you'd like. It's very moisturizing for my mid 40's dry skin 😃😄
