It’s interesting how Medium Tan 2 looks so peachy on you! I have true neutral undertones (my best matches are Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin Tint in 9, Ami Cole Medium 2, One Size BBB Cream in Medium Dark 1) which basically means I have a just kinda browny beige undertone. I pull more warm golden olive than I do cool pink, but neither of those alone are perfect. Medium Tan 2 is a perfect depth for me but it’s a hair olive yellow. Color theory is so interesting fr!
I too feel the pain of being constantly orange, the neutral girlies are always ignored 😭

The concealer did look noticeably orange compared to your bare skin and the foundation, but the foundation shade match was great!
Love that you don't use filters and we can actually see your skin!

I expected that everything in this particular shade range (as in the general shade range of your, and my, skin) would be too orange because that is what tends to happen, but it was still disappointing! Don't confuse yourself lol, the Kosas concealer and old G8 are great matches for you and the new Glossier concealer does make you look orange

I love your energy! So radiant. I think it looks SO good on you after it settled in. The Glossier products you tried match your hand better than the Kosas. I think because we apply sunscreen and other brightening skincare ingredients to our face so it tends to be lighter than our body.

I think the medium 1 concealer is closer to the g8 concealer shade. It's neutral but it's an olivey neutral, not super warm olive.
I want to try this brand. Never even heard of it. I usually wear LOreal W4 (sun beige) and lately it has been oxidizing. I also wear the Nars foundation in the color Stromboli, and I'm olive, but can't do the extreme yellow base. I barely wear makeup but I want something for when I feel like getting put together. It's so hard to find a good foundation.

I am Medium 5 and I used G8 concealer with it and I liked how it looked!
My guess for why the concealer being more orange is because it is better for under eyes and orange cancels out blue under eye circles. Idk just a guess
that’s a nice thought!! tho honestly i don’t think they made it orange on purpose 😭😭
I know you were trying to save the other colors but I really wanted to see if the other concealer was a better match

Umm this the only thing I dislike about gossier new shade range that my shade might no even be the same anymore I wish they would kept the already existing shades and just added the new ones.

Hi! What other foundation shades are you for comparison? Was considering getting this shade too but not sure if it will match me 😅
the kosas concealer in tone 6O is the best shade match i’ve used so far which is why it was my main point of reference! other shades i wear are natural beige in the maybelline fit me dewy + smooth foundation, chantechaille future skin in cream and glossier in G8, but those aren’t the best matches. hope this helps! 😊

Hi Pamyla ^^ what about longevity?
it lasts like most other makeup products! longevity is ofc improved with use of setting powder and setting spray so it really depends on the rest if your routine. but nothing abnormal or overally impressive to report 🫡

Is G8 in the light neutral category or is it in the medium neutral?
I believe the original shades were not broken up into categories before so it’s up for debate. I would say it’s probably light medium imo

Transfer proof is what I'm interested in
without setting powder or spray, yeah it’ll most likely transfer onto light clothing

You're so naturally bronzed around the outer circle of your face and you're lighter in your t zone. Problem is, the shade doesn't match the paler zones of your face.
They should have gave you a paper sample of all the medium shades tbh girlie😩💔

im really confused. i dont wear makeup other than blush and lip color. but your natural skin and your skin with this foundation is not the same. after the foundation you have some weird pumpkin spice latte orange going on with your face. and when you move your face, some of it look s like it's applied more heavily than others.. i don't think I want to try this now 😶🌫

Just say it the concealers are orange lol and unless you went thru and swatched those others and they were olive what was the point? Trying to keep nice w glossier instead of just say it.
this was a first impressions video... please keep this in mind and have a little grace as i was thinking out loud in the moment. in the end, yes it did appear orange as i stated. hope you have a better day 🙂
