    I love Verizon. I have been with them for almost 10 years now and I honestly think the best plans that they have ever offered, were the ones with a bunch of goodies. Like the Hulu Bundle, 400GB's of Cloud storage, free Apple Music, free Android or iPhone gaming plans, truly unlimited and untethered data etc. Which these plans they ended up getting rid of. Hopefully they bring something like that back, because it has truly been the best plan that I have ever had. Visable does seem cool but it's not enough for me. Especially now since I am also using Verizon's FWA.

      The plans has been changing at same time the 5G network and devices are evolving... Now you can have even a 2TB folder in VZ Cloud just $10/m and The Hulu is included with Disney+ and ESPN+ just $10 /month instead the $14.99 if you buy it in your own

    As for a family plan I would say yes. 1 plan unlimited plus 100gig of additional data for another device at 10 bucks. Then they have the 25 unlimited data box for the home. I had three visible accounts plus one att plan all gone now. I’m off the grid and it’s nice to drop off all those lines. No more switching and hotspotting, especially on an iphone. So I think it’s worth it if you have a family plan. Also the plan still has 30 gigs of hotspot data. So it’s worth it.

      100% agree, Verizon rep said they were at capacity in our area when I called about non-existent service with data, spotty cell and texts going undelivered. I asked for a credit and was told "read your contract, we're not required to provide service in all areas". I've been using a T-Mobile test drive the past few days. Much better service, even though we live in a rural area.

    Unlimited plus is $65 on the website from what I see, but I have visible plus foe $35 a month anyway, which you can currently get a promo for. And I heard after the high speed data is used on us mobile your data speeds slow down to 1 mbps or something like that, which might have changed, but it's hard to find out about either way. But again, visible plus for $35 has the best value among all carriers as of right now.

      Party Pay has been gone for awhile now. It's $30 for the base Visible plan, $45 for Visible+ (there are occasionally promos like right now Visible+ is $35 with the code VISIBLE35), no matter how many lines you have. Autopay is only being removed for people on the legacy plan that are refusing to upgrade so that they're forced to acknowledge that they know their service will be disconnected soon when they try to pay.

    After watching several of your videos (I came across you on Reddit), I’ve decided to go prepaid. I’m leaving Verizon, the cell service has become pathetic, and the bill is outrageous! I’m struggling with finding the right one(all the lingo I don’t understand). I think it’s a toss up between att & tm. 3 lines, need financing for phones(both provides have it), at least 50g of data, I don’t want to be throttled or capped. I’m probably being unrealistic, but I’ve had Verizon for at least 15 years. I’m sure someone is going to say something about all the data that is used, which is fine. Like I said, it’s 3 lines.
    Any advice?

    Question for anyone who reads this:
    I'm having a REALLY hard time finding a plan that offers a phone AND a second line for a tablet with enough data that I can get rid of Spectrum Time Warner internet ($84.99 a month). I live in LA and neither Verizon or AT&T have internet coverage here so a bundle option is out. I have checked with your lower tier options and they don't offer second lines. Can a phone plan be for a tablet or is a phone plan only for a phone and you have to add a second line for a tablet? (then I could get two lower price plans, from different carriers)

      Mint is fine if you can live with their data limits. 40GB for $30 before a 512Kbps hard throttle on their top plan purchased a year in advance really can't compete with $30 for totally unlimited data paid monthly on Visible though and if you fork out the $35 for Visible+ (normally $45 but they have a promo code, VISIBLE35, that gives you it for $35 a month) you get 50GB of premium data (same priority as Verizon's Unlimited Plus) and totally unlimited priority data if you are on 5G UW that doesn't count towards that 50GB of premium data, something that T-Mobile has yet to offer on their network.

    Great video, Stetson. Look, Verizon's postpaid plans are just fine. Comparing them to prepaid plans doesn't really make sense. It's apples and oranges. Why? Two reasons...... Access to customer care and phone upgrade discounts. Visible offers neither, nor does US Mobile. That's the biggest deterrent to prepaid service. People want subsidized phones and also the ability to talk to a real person as needed. Prepaid just doesn't offer those things. Verizon's postpaid plans are flexible and competitively priced. They're fine.

      Found the Verizon employee...
      While it's true that Visible doesn't offer phone support, and that people who need extensive hand holding should go to postpaid, the vast majority of customers don't have problems and don't need support. Visible+ is on sale for $35 right now which makes it less than half the price of Verizon's Unlimited Plus while still retaining the totally unlimited priority data on 5G UW and additionally having unlimited hotspot at 5Mbps. There's not a better deal on Verizon's network unless you are willing to commit to the same phone for 36 months and buy more than 3 lines (as Stetson's video emphasized). He also didn't put in that people committing to the same phone for 36 months really should be adding insurance so if they break their phone, they're not out of pocket at full price for a new one or out more than the insurance for the period for a major repair. $17/mo on a flagship is adding another $612 over 36 months per line.

      @@Saeren_ if it were true that most people didn't need hand holding, then the vast majority of Americans would be on prepaid. But they're not. The vast majority continues to choose postpaid. Most people also want subsidized phones and are willing to pay higher bills monthly to have access to them. Fact check me. How many customers have Visible vs. Verizon? It's not even close. People still want human customer care and subsidized phones. That won't change anytime soon.

    • @Saeren_
      @Saeren_ Год назад +3

      @@BTech49 Most people have never heard of Visible and that's intentional. I stand by my statement that most people who do know about Visible don't need as much hand holding. Postpaid carriers have done a great job convincing Americans that prepaid is inferior service for drug dealers and deadbeats too.

    • @BTech49
      @BTech49 Год назад

      @@Saeren_ well Visible advertises very consistently so it may not be that people don't know about it, they just may not want that service. Everybody isn't out here searching for the cheapest phone service possible. That may be your thing, which is fine, but many people do want actual human customer care and access to discounted flagship phones. It is what it is.

      @@Saeren_ and Verizon IS a postpaid AND prepaid carrier. They've got the largest amount of customers in both segments. So they seem to offer something for every type of customer out here.

    Welcome unlimited is actually 80 dollars….. no one is saying it so I will. wake up non of it is worth it I use a lot of data so I need a lot of data so when I’m being told you have premium so long as you chose Verizon….. we’ll I have all 3 I can and will speak for both… Verizon is the weakest period… sorry I wish this was not true but it is… so if you want a premium network go AT&T or T-mobile period… period.. period….
    (But what about my family waaahhh) Verizon doesn’t give a DWI about your family get something better… T-Mobile prepaid I better than Verizon if you rely want Verizon get viable why wouldn’t you pay more and get ripped off for less…

      Just because it sucks for you doesn’t mean it sucks for everyone else. Just seems like Verizon has the least coverage in your area. I had T-Mobile and it was the worst calls would drop. Just like I always tell customers get what works best for you and that area.
