In Sweden, we have a word called "skadeglädje". It basically means "joy because of someone else's misfortune" and I think this video is a prime example of the old saying "skadeglädje is the only true joy."

Moog the smell is terrible if you don't know how to open it properly but it doesnt taste much tbh. Just open the can under running water and you're good to go.
Surströmming is good, if you know what to do with it. XD

Even though it's hilarious to see you gage over the fish. Can't you guys try to do surströmming in a real way. First no swede would handle the fish like that. Normalt you open the can under water and rinse the fish of properly. Then serve It choped in small pieces (and just a smal amount of the fish) on some flatbread with sliced potatoes, some sour cream and a sprinkle of spring onions.

I spent a year in Sweden and loved everything BUT this disgusting thing. Even when done properly, it is vile. Can't understand how such sweet people would like this infernal thing.

Nice. My friends and I shared a can of Surströmning last Wednesday. Trust me, it is not nearly as bad if you open the can under water, wash the fillets, and eat them on slices of ryebread/ german Schwartzbrot with boiled potatoes, red onions and a beer and a schnaps.
Aawe Barry has to be the purest, innocent being on earth! That face when he heard that there‘s a part two to that - how could one not melt looking at him at this moment😍

The thing with fremented herring or surströmming is that you should eat it on a flatbread with other toppings. Usually you use cooked potatoes, tomates, red onions and creme fraiche. You can ofc eat it raw but that's not a popular way to do it. //A swede from medelpad
2 years ago, for Christmas, while my husband was deployed to Afghanistan, I sent him a can of surstromming. He opened it on video, and it was the best thing ever. Everyone was choking and swearing. When it splattered on him, he was done. Best $40 ever spent.
0_0 if you are still married that is some rock hard love. Deployment in hot tents without a place to wash up does not go well with violently stinky fish, and I never had to do Afghanistan.

I loved the outdoors stuff, just for something different now and then. I really liked the ongoing battle between everyone, which kept it interesting.
I would be very happy to see some more student easy, cheap, fast meals for those days I literally can't be bothered to start cooking for 45 minutes which tons of preparing to do.
Loved season 3! I think next season you should do another challenge but include James.

This season has been fantastic and it's been a great ride! I'd love to see more country themed weeks because I feel they were the ones where everyone tried the hardest! Can't wait to see the Christmas carol, it's going to be hilarious. Winner of each league faces each other in the play-off for food heaven, while loser of each league faces each other in the play-off for food hell. Loser of Chef league is relegated to Normal league, and winner of Normal league is promoted to Chef league.

Honestly this season has been the best so far which is saying something because I've been watching you for years! You guys just continue to grow and it's amazing to see that despite the changes in content the original premise of a chef and his friends cooking is still at the heart of your channel!
I left some suggestions last season and as I far as I remember they were all included. It's so much harder as the years go on to think of any improvements but perhaps one may be to include everybody else on the team for even more cameos? Plus, I'd totally love to see you guys do a tour too! I'd come see it if it was close to me!

I've had Surstromming before. We opened it outside and it still filled the air all around us and it made me gag pretty violently. And it is also the saltiest thing, just salt. We then double bagged it and put in the bin in the kitchen, but then that wasn't good enough, so we put it in the bin outside and we thought the binmen wouldn't take it, so then I had to walk down the street and put it in a public bin - whilst apparently every dog walker in the area walk past and every cyclist. It was so bad, dogs were gagging and coughing and cyclists went round me. So enclosed in an air tight gazebo and being forced to eat it, I think is a form of torture. I still remember the smell now and I tried it 4 years ago. Well done Baz
For Season 4 I'd love for it to be similar to season 3 but maybe you could throw James onto the leaderboard!
