Watching in full screen, what an incredible place. Great value to get on and loved the dragonfly hitching the ride. Great retelling of the history and its creation. Can just picture it in the 1960s and still going strong until this day thanks to its repurposing in 1995 as a place to attract people from all over. Nice to see ducks instead of gators on your channel! 😅 so serene and peaceful, its quite possibly the most crystal clear water ive ever seen. So relaxing and a great end to our Thursday night and start of what will be an amazing weekend for us all ❤ 🛶
The vintage video in the intro was actually family video taken along the river in 1958. The water there was so amazing. Thank you so much for joining us at this premiere. It was one of our most successful ones to date.

A very colorful water with 🌈 colors ...so amazing
We did this trip today but put in at Blue Run Donnellon Park and paddled all the way to Rainbow Springs. This long of a route is not for the faint of heart as it is a long day and strenuous. Putting in at KP Hole is ideal for most folks. That little offshoot river just upstream of KP Hole was our favorite part of the whole day. We managed to even meet a couple of real life mermaids (not joking) at the end of the line where the gate was to this little river. The best part was that we had the whole river practically to ourselves the whole day. Virtually no other folks. Combine a sunny winter weekday with a 46 degree morning and high of 59 kept 99.9% of other folks away. But, in reality, it was a perfect day to paddle. And I mean perfect. There is some really gorgeous scenery (best of the day) between KP Hole and Blue Run Park in Donnellon, but, for most folks, putting in at KP Hole and doing the short paddle up to Rainbow Springs is enough, just to say they did it. We feel blessed to have had the whole place to ourselves, which I take it is very rare. Not another soul in sight at KP Hole when we stopped there for a short break and just to check it out. Nice video! Enjoyed it! On to Weeki Wachee!

That was beautiful! The water there is so very clear. Hard to believe that it is 10-18 feet deep. I am glad that the state decided to fix it up and make it into a state park. The kayaking was very peaceful, even if you were there on a busy Memorial Day weekend. Loved it!

I like to be there for at 07.00 am at the latest and looks like you just make it to get that final space. The water was unbelievably clear and it looked real popular but I can see why. Nice to see the fish and some of the local wildlife and despite the crowds there it was still possible to find some peace and tranquilly, cheers Alan
we had a bit of a lengthy drive to get there which is why we were later than we had hoped
