Day 2 of doing keto until I lose

  • Hey guys
    I am a fat man, doing keto to lose weight. I want to lose weight so that I can see my children walk down the aisle, and get fitter and better to spend more time with them, and any potential grandchildren I will have and have a fantastic healthy life with my wife. I will caveat, it is ok to be fat, but it is not ok to stay fat. I am disabled, I have permanent lymphoedema in my legs, Schambergs disease, 2 blood issues, Hemochromatosis & Thrombocytopenia.
    I went to the Dr and asked for help, and explained that I am fed up of being fat. I now attend the obesity clinic. I was advised, I absolutely MUST do a high protein, medium fats, and low carb diet, and was given a specific set of instructions of which I need to follow. I was advised, absolutely no more than the following Macros, but how I chose to use them, was up to me
    400g of protein
    50g of carbs
    100g of fat
    This would total to 2700 calories per day, which would be a low weight loss amount for someone of my size. I do not have to meet this, I can come in under, as long as I attain at least half of the calories for the day, but do not exceed any macro. I will be adding exercise as and when I can into the mix, but the legs make it extremely difficult, but that is life.
    Every week, I will make measurements so you guys can see what I am working with, and can track along with me. You guys will keep me motivated, and you guys will keep me in check. If you see me in public, come up to me, give me support, or tell me where I can improve! I am all about learning to make this better for me.
