It got so I would not even "buckle up" until the AC had been running and started to cool the interior down, and hopefully the buckle with it! And I always used a sunvisor to help keep the steering wheel cooler!
You're getting to be quite popular as I knew you would. Congratulations! It's hard to find something unique in these videos, but you did it! Keep going, I love it.
The pain of shorts on leather car seats…and then knowing you have to eventually grab the steering wheel. The struggle is real! Pro tip: oven mitts in the glove box are sometimes very handy.
My friends in Arizona have oven mitts in the car so they can touch the steering wheel my problem is I always wanna put my arm out the window in that little strip of metal really burns the underside of your arm.
YES!! YEEEEESSSS!!! I swear, God teases us. He blesses us with this beautiful weather then punishes us with it at the same time. It’s the environmental equivalent of chocolate cake. Yeah, it’s delicious, but it’s going straight to your ass. You’re gonna pay. So unfair. For real, my left tricep has a red line on it from my arm-out-the-window move yesterday at 1:30pm at St. Augustine Beach.
Lol we lived in AZ for 26 years you can always tell when someone moves to the valley of the sun from a cooler climate. Dark colored car, leather seats,no window tint and they have mastered the steering with their fingertips. I always had a pair of gloves in my car, used the winshield shades, left the window cracked a little, and made dang sure there was nothing on the seat before i got in. Sorry folks i live in FL now and this is cake compared to 122 degrees in the shade.
When my son was very young he used to call those " hot metal days" bc the buckle on his cars eat would burn his little legs.( of course I did not leave him there. I waited for the car to cool down.)
i brought towels out of the cool house, so they touched my wee lassies legs instead of the bumper seat or seat belt buckle. LOL!! we even got a shade for her, so the sun wouldnt be in her eyes, and she could nap on a nice drive.
I lived in Florida as a younger lad and sadly it has been a while since I've been back, but this immediately conjured up a ton of memories I had forgotten.
Same in Phoenix. The struggle to do basic stuff is real. I have 2 pairs of driving gloves: on for holding the steering wheel when its 100°, and thenother for when its 110°+.
Used to live in the Palm Springs area...you had to have seat covers and steering wheel covers and window shades. Even so it was like climbing in an oven, lol.
my first car in Florida, was a 65 Plymouth station wagon. it was peach on the outside, and MAROON on the inside, and NO air conditioning. it was a hot box!
That's why we don't look for the closest space at the store. We look for the shadiest space. Lol
So true I swear every single shaded spot is the first to fill I've witnessed people circle the parking lot waiting for a shaded spot to open up lol

OMG those old metal seatbelt buckles will give you 3rd degree burns 😂😂😂
It got so I would not even "buckle up" until the AC had been running and started to cool the interior down, and hopefully the buckle with it! And I always used a sunvisor to help keep the steering wheel cooler!
My mom had a car with leather seats. Good luck getting in the car, let alone buckling up
I actually had a hot pad tucked in my console for seat belt buckles, scalding steering wheel, etc.. 🤣😂🤣😂
In Florida, anything "THROWING SHADE" is a good thing!😂
Each and every moment was a moment we could relate to.
I literally felt the pain instantly. And I'm not in Florida!
Not even from Florida, it describes hot af!!!!!!
Been here 30 yrs and my dumbass still does all of that 😂😂
😂😂😂
Who remembers the stainless steel slides when we were kids🔥🔥🔥
Not sure if the burns or the cuts from the sharp edges was worse
@@bartmcfarling
The burns
@Paul McFarling don't forget about hot sand waiting for you at the bottom.
Don't forget the hot sand you have to cross to get to the ocean.
Jeans...
Leather seats will get you every time.🍑 🔥🔥🔥
Cloth seats cloth
bring towels 2 sit on man
black steering wheels make you want to never drive
@@delphy2478 So very true.🔥
Yep, I don't ever want leather seats in my car again. The cloth gets hot, but at least I'm not risking third-degree burns.

Oh gosh,yes...and bring a towel for the seat if you're wearing shorts or less, and double it!
Yes ,I like my windows down and have been burnt a few too many times. LOL 😂

Bet you still have the burn scars!!! 😱

One of your best thanks for the laugh you're the best .
I can see his stuff over n over n it’s still funny to me!
That lean into the car was too real. Got a good burn as a kid brushing up against my moms voltswagon. Lol
Florida can’t too Arizona with that heat! We can fry eggs, bake cookies, and more with our heat.
I feel the burn Mr. Wicks, It's the same in Jackson TN. Today we're gonna hit 90 and that doesn't include humidity.😮
This is so true for the desert of CA as well.
I lived in Florida as a younger lad and sadly it has been a while since I've been back, but this immediately conjured up a ton of memories I had forgotten.

Just like Phoenix, but there its that way in the shade too
Love my black cars but GD just 37 minutes in the sun is like hand on the stovetop 🔥 shart! 😮😢😅😂❤

It's like getting a 3rd degree burn in the Nevada summer sun 😅😂
These are always spot on😂
Being a Floridian I've done this so many times!😂
The classic hot car shuffle as an Aussie I know it well.
How many times has this happened to me! 😂😂
the hot sand run to the water!!!
Living in Arizona during the summer be exactly like this! AND my earrings will burn my neck 😂😂😂😂
The accuracy. 🤌🏾
.. .& sometimes the steering wheel will getcha, too! 😅🤭
I can TOTALLY relate ! I live in a city with extreme temperatures too. Insanely hot in Summer, brutally cold in Winter.
Yep lol Alabama too, and don't think getting in the shade is going to keep yo ass from sweating 😅
Can confirm. Just being in direct Florida sun hurts. Angry sun... Evil fireball!
Same in Phoenix. The struggle to do basic stuff is real. I have 2 pairs of driving gloves: on for holding the steering wheel when its 100°, and thenother for when its 110°+.
This happens in Michigan. I can't imagine Florida! Lol!
😂 Just like south GA too! 😂
Ain't no steam comming off the metal, must be winter
Burning through the clothes & all lmao 😭
Boy he's not wrong..😂
Used to live in the Palm Springs area...you had to have seat covers and steering wheel covers and window shades. Even so it was like climbing in an oven, lol.
Georgia, too!😭
I love the flip phone shirt!!!😂😂😂😂😂
Don't forget the steering wheel. Lol 😂
3rd degree burns every time😂😂😂😂
Living in SE Texas with no ac in the car as a kid going to Houston for something. I know the pain.
Yes!!! This I remember well from my only trip to Florida 😅
I started hurting watching this😅😅😂
Yeah, Southern California has many of these moments too!
my first car in Florida, was a 65 Plymouth station wagon. it was peach on the outside, and MAROON on the inside, and NO air conditioning. it was a hot box!
It's the same for people in California. Every situation including the cement😂
I have not experienced hot cement like that but I'm guessing it's like hot sand at the beach 🌴☀
Have experienced this a few painful times! Enjoyed my job that had a parking garage. Wore gloves sometimes to drive!
California High Desert is like this as well. 110° + summers.
I lived in Tampa for a few years. I know this feeling.
Same shit here in texas, I'll park a half a mile away from the store to find shade 🥵
SC is like that too! That steering wheel is like a hot skillet
I know how you feel brother I deal with that same series of problems here in AZ
Park in the shade! 😂
Yo that seat belt is no joke lmaooooooooooo😂😂😂😂😂
some of this exactly describes Arizona in the summer as well
