pixie 01 - I purchase bags that are handmade if possible. Interesting and one of a kind if you have it in your budget. I have traveled all over the world and to pick up unique things, bags, jewelry and clothing. If you don’t have the money to travel, look to craftsmen in your own area for clothing, leather goods, etc. I have been asked about bags that I got from from local craftsmen, Wow! which house did you get that from? Also, you can buy off the rack but have it tailored to you. In the US off the rack is considered the end of it. In Europe where I lived for many years, it is the jumping off point. also, because I had to have a dress to wear to galas, and nothing fit properly, I went to a fashion designer and we designed a lovely black velvet gown with interchangeable sleeves. it cost less than the price or tailoring than a Caroline Herrara did. An ill fitting gown from Herrera or Stella McCartney, Donna Karan or Ralph Lauren. Also, my every day clothes, if I bought them at an outlet, or at clearance takes on a new life if you get them tailored. I have no problem spending $40 dollars on a $15 dollar pair of pants or shirt or jacket as long as it fits my body perfectly.
Based on reading the book, “The Millionaire Next Door.” Wealthy women don’t wear a bunch of designer clothes or bags. They actually live quite frugally and put their money into education and travel. Interesting book.
No, the fakes are tacky. Individuals may be tacky but it doesn't take away from a well-made authentic bag. There are so many things that this social media commentator gets wrong that unpicking it is ridiculous. Also the idea that you have to throw things out is very frowned upon. You utilise and alter and adapt. Or donate.
@Stella Yates men ALWAYS comment on my bags. Not the brand or style though. They always say they like the way I carry my bag. I guess it catches their attention, but I have no clue what they're talking about lol.
Lisa Bell actually Chanel and YSL are getting out of style soon I guess. Everyone wears it, way to basic! It might be exclusive now but just like the LV neverfull will be expiring one day
Ultimatum Certain styles yes not the entire brand as a whole......I never said anything about the bags being exclusive .... simply giving advice about classy looking bag brands . I see an over saturation of Hermes Birkins everywhere ...... doesn’t make the bag any less classy. It’s not just about the brand but the style of bag you choose . Anna talked about LV not being classy yet she owns and wears certain styles of Lv bags herself, just take a close look at her pictures on Instagram.
Ladies, true elegance is confidence, composure, and humility that comes from within, not the bags you wear or the clothes you own. Do not let channels like this talk down on something you love. Life is hard as is, so buy what makes you happy and to hell with what an Internet stranger has to say!
GREAT, you are so right and it's exactly what I thought when I stumbled over this strange video. Btw, she doesn't look very classy to me, just another one out of so many "cloned" influencers. Sorry, but to me they all look alike...
Her actual school is "affluence." If you can't walk the walk the affluent will smell you from a mile away. So, essentially, yes it does have to do with how you present yourself - handbags included.
As an ordinary lady who lives in one of the top five most expensive zip codes in the US, I can politely tell you that high society women don’t wear your style of dress; they wear Patagonia, Lululemon, Loro Piana cashmere, and Brunello Cucinelli nude, many 40+ women love luxury hobos dresses tunics and dress in vacation vibes. And many of the old money second generations were not even that brand-focused. They love art and Anthropologie. Stores like Hermes and Chanel are filled by the newly wealthy upper-middle class.
True wealthy people watch how they spend their money and also do not want to look like billboard advertising. It's new money like a Kardashian who is into designers.
If I like a bag I buy it, I don’t even care which brand it is... the bag doesn’t define me I carry it with confidence and that’s elegance... I am the brand not the bag.
@@love_nyc_ yes they do!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 but, hey, I can afford luxury, but dont buy it cuz I just dont buy leather, simple as that!!! And the luxury handbags I have seen that arent leather just dont appeal to me. I like slim, smooth bags where the lines just flow, know what I mean?? Like where the handle isnt long, but just that, a handle, not a shoulder strap, and that looks like it is a continuation of the bag?? I know you know what I mean.🤣🤣But hey!! Dont knock Walmart!! I have seen some decent looking bags there!!! I actually bought a wallet there one year, a beautiful herringbone, long slim wallet in faux leather that was actually as soft as calfskin!!!!!!!!!! Mever found anything amazing there besides that, but the point is, even Walmart can have some nice things if you keep an eye out!!!!🤣🤣🤣😘😘😘😘😍😍😍😍😍
@@Jane-vw5om you are stupid. She is not judging anyone. This video is for ladies who wants to elevate their looks and look elegant. You are probably one of the plain Janes and got offended...
So sorry she doesn’t like Coach. I’ve always believed Coach to have some classic styles. While I get that some of their styles are a bit trendy as of late 20 years, Coach has some excellent purses and bags I will never let go.
I own 3 bags total and all of them are Coach, I absolutely adore all of them and I think they are classy in their own way. Plus, they have lasted me soooo long
Im not wealthy and i definitely get her point. Shes just not wording it too well 😂. Some designer bags do become so common that they become tacky. If that makes any sense.
Agreed......when I see designer hand bag I immediately think GHETTO‼️ I never got into designer bags. I remember when everyone was going crazy over coach and juicy couture back in the day 🙄🙄🙄I never budged I just never understood the obsession and Im a girly girl. The bags or like earrings everyone has them but the clothes can be classy depending on the style. Yes Chanel & Hermès is Timeless. 💕💕💕💕
Hobi makes me happy i assume she shares this in her finishing school, but she doesn’t like to actually give examples which annoys a majority of her followers. personally, i enjoy her content as entertainment because some of her advise doesn’t ring true to my friends and i.
@@AlejandraElisabet, actually she does at times mention best/better options. If you follow all of her videos, you would have heard some she has mentioned before :)
DMLK CS i haven’t been watching her for a long time so i haven’t checked but thank you for telling me. her style doesn’t align exactly with mine but i do agree that classic fashion is incredibly beautiful.
Chanel( The classic double flap is just perfect), Dior( the lady dior especially but they do have some other beautiful and classy designs ), Hermès(birkins and kellys) , Dolce and gabanna(especially the box bags cuz they're soooo expensive and they scream affluence, the sicily bag is simple and beautiful too.) And what makes these bags even more amazing, is that most of them hold their value if you ever wanna resell them, in fact birkins and kellys and the classic double flap in the jumbo size only increase in value so they're a great investment to make.
I think if you like the bag just buy it.... don't let anyone tell you what to wear ❤ i like lv monogram and it is really beautiful i don't care if there are too many replicas cause i buy the bag for myself not to impress others
I have a Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM in DE and own several LV bags in classic monogram canvas and I love it them all! I have 8 to be exact. I know LV looks tacky for some but LV is my jam. I am a plain Jane and I love LV! 💛🤗 I don’t need to look affluent because I am not. I just work hard for the things I want.
Absolutely. And if anyone "needs" to look affluent, they should probably work on their inside first! (ETA: I say this as someone who owns classic Chanel bags AND a Neverfull. ;) )
I love this comment! Why look like something when I’m clearly not. I’m fine with my style. We focus too much on what others have and can afford that we forget.
I have no problem with this person expressing her opinion, however calling people "basic" or saying that having one of these bags means you do not know "elegance" is both off putting and is tasteless. Most people confuse class with snobbery, again she is free to have an opinion and offer that opinion but she does come across unprepossessing by utilizing certain words to describe people.
She doesn’t know anything about fashion or Affluence as she claim. I have been there and done it. So called Affluent people are rude, swear lots and always the loudest one at the restaurants. Fashion is what makes you feel confident and comfortable on your own skin not what people think. For she is the who looks “Basic”
@@ginger1549 ...She certainly does have class.. Come on now.. That's ridiculous to say she doesn't 🙄..You know what this channel is about.. She's a finishing school coach...If you don't like it, move on🤷...SMH

Well said.. i however agree with her, I dont like those bags she mentioned in the video. But the way, she mentioning things is like so downgrading. I find it rude for her to say those you know
Coach bags hold up and the pockets and linings are always thoughtful about what women need, not like too many higher end that seem to think we hardly need space and just should carry their heavy purse around for show only
Mary S wow basic people ... it’s obvious she needs a reason to need God to see she’s no better than anyone else; she had a nose job ..... is that basic too
And don't forget "plain janes". Sorry, but can someone tell me to which royal house does she belong?? Wow just wow! I can say she has content and I could even be in agreement with some of her picks but the deliverance of the content and her demeaning attitude speaks louder than her words which sadly reflect a very poor human being regardless of the money she's come across. Respecting others is the foundation of society.
@@artOfSamira ... I was thinking along those lines, as well... You're changing my life. I choose elegant outfits, handbags, shoes, coats.. even in pants. I loved wearing jeans but now I just wear them for University. I'm more confident now. I act elegant around my crush that he is from a very high society family, and every time he see's me he looks at me in a good way. I act elegant and I actually really feel like a little elegant lady. Thank you so much Anna.
I've noticed recently that fashion brands that were usually associated with classy timeless fashion items are now catering for the more trendy audience!
Zanele Mnguni Because the trendy audience likes to spend tons of money in order to look rich. We often forget that fashion brands are corporates, and like any corporate, they want to dominate the market and make the most money.
I just bought a Louis Vuitton speedy 30 as my first luxury bag - in the classic monogram print. I chose this bag because I have dreamed about having one ever since I was 12... specifically the speedy in this print. I fell in love with it and still at 25 I love it. It makes me happy when I see it and I can't believe I am able to own one now.
It is a very nice casual bag. What Anna is poorly trying to convey is that some bags are not elegant. This has nothing to do with the brand but rather a style. Some are causal day bags, some are evening bags, some are special event bags, some are shopping bags etc. Your bag is absolutely fabulous for what it is, and I hope you wear it for many years to come.
Enjoy your speedy..I got speedy Dam 25 B earlier this year and I like it so much got a monogram 25 B last month… goes well with chick jeans etc.. 👜… who’s does not wanna be associated with lovely Audrey Hepburn 🥰🥰🥰.. I see Anna s point though solid color bags does goes well with chick pants , jackets etc..🤍
For me, being elegant is being respectful and unpretentious.Someone who is intelligent and unmaterialistic. Also, being classy or sophisticated is how you behave when no one sees you :)
I would say yes but also no. True beauty comes from within and is reflected out. It’s important to respect yourself and represent yourself from the inside out. Being elegant is not the only way to do this, but for most of the people watching this channel that is how they would like to represent themselves. :)
Is it possible to buy sonething that look elegant, but not necessarily expensive? I dont like to spend too much on items that I dont really need. Please show examples on what looks elegant.
I'm french and I agree with you we like to buy elegant bags for affordable prices. I'm actually a fashion youtuber and a fashion designer so I love looking for the perfect clothes and accessories if you want help 😘
There is Furla which is a classic brand more affordable than the very famous designer ones (in my country at least). I just bought for myself the bag Diva in black for around 450€ as a gift. It is still very expensive but it can be a good compromise between the high street shops and the designer brands.
Coach went through some dark days with the monogram canvas bags, but someone at Coach is really turning around the boat. The new leather bags look nice.
Agreed! I’m really liking their simple black bag. Probably not so much elegant as a well made, long lasting and more affordable purse for the “working class.”
I bought a leather Coach handbag last year from Macy’s and it is holding up amazingly! I wore it the whole spring and summer and it still looks like new.
Remember ladies: This is just one person's opinion on what *she* finds to be classy or elegant. I don't think there is just one way to be classy or elegant (how boring).
Being classy and elegant is natural. Whether you have one an entire logo Gucci outfit or a tea dress and top hat like a royal. Look at Paris Hilton. She is old money and when you look at her she wears a lot of brands and just looks like old money no matter what she wears.
So glad this is out because I haven’t invested in a luxury bag yet and I’m interested if my instincts about the not getting the “trendy” bag was right. This is validation!
I agree. Classic elegance never goes out of style. Too many purse brands are trying to get attention by being radical and attention getting in a bad way. If a purse design has been around for decades then it probably is time tested and should not go out of fashion anytime soon.
@@fylgia8567 It looks very elegant and it is perfect for the day. This is not a good outfit for a tuxedo party, she would look pretty but under dressed.

Some may disagree with me, but I have a closet full of Aldo bags, the average price is $55 and they are my most complimented bags amongst all types of women when I am in public. I have a bag to match every outfit so spending hundreds on a bag isn't worth it for me. What I like about many of their bags, is they last and overall look better than many expensive bags.
For me I respect a woman who buys a high quality purse from a little known manufacturer (which requires a bit of research to find) who offers great designs at a fair price...and does not have some loud tacky logo on it.
I’m conflicted with this video. I think many women have their own style (edgy, feminine, boho, ect) and they can still make outfits look really fashion forward and classy. Most women who can afford these bags have multiple designer bags to style with outfits 🤷🏼♀️ to each their own
It’s an unspoken dig at others saying you can afford to dish out a specific amount of money on a bag YOU LIKE (see: it’s OK to like the bag) that others cannot afford. Unfortunately she is right: it’s gotten to the point where there are so many knockoffs that the thrill is gone. And most of the wealthy women I know would never carry one. I said forget it and bought a black leather Calvin Klein tote. You can’t even see the logo. It carries all of my junk and I’m happy. I can afford a LV tote but I didn’t think it was wise because everyone has one and it’s not unique anymore. It’s over saturated the market.
Kamille Choudhury yet still Chanel classic flap, for example, also screams that too many people wear it, too many fakes plus it looks like a grandma bag (No offence if someone likes it).
I've had the pleasure of being in the company of 'old money' and truly affluent people, even though I personally am nowhere close. One of the things I noticed is that if they like or believe in a product they will talk about it. If they dislike something- they will rather say nothing. They do not trash it and are very considerate of the fact that not everyone has it, and strive to not offend. In fact, they are stoically silent about the difference between rich and poor when they are with people on a different level to them. The new rich or the 'trying to appear rich', have no such qualms. I love her videos, but she is clearly not born into affluence (as she is vocal about to be fair.)
Yes, I am not affluent myself, I am just a 15 years old daddy's brat (kind of) but looking forward to be elegant someday, Anna has also spoken about her journey and how much she improved
Same lol and in reverse it would be worse if I didn’t buy what I liked just because people told me it was overplayed or made me plain. I’m not the type of person that looks to stand out. I’d rather not. So I have no problem with blending in with the basic bitches of America 😂 i have a personality that people can get to know if they think I’m plain I could really careless
I agree with you. I would love to see your recommendations of elegant handbags, as I am starting my collection, at this time in my life. Thank you so much Anna.
You guys buy whatever you like, who cares if your neighbor like it or not, you are going to buy it, so you have to love it, I used to like her videos and now looks likes she judges people for way they look or the bag they use, who cares, wear what you really love and be happy, we only have one life to spend it trying to please everyone, it’s just my opinion, so many dream of a luxury handbag for years and work hard to get it, and that deserves respect, not everybody has the “economic class” that this lady has
M Teresa I agree this whole thing of dressing a certain way to appear classy is nonsense people can sense if you are truly classy person as that is a way of being that comes from with in . As my mother always says you can’t buy class and true class Can be found be found in all tax bracket not just the Uber wealthy.
Also, ladies, I know I am always in the comments talking about how I am one of the ones that can afford things and travel in affluent circles, but that does not mean I cant improve myself!!!!!! No matter how "perfect" we may seem, there is always room for improvement, whether that be in clothing, in the body, and most importantly to me in the mind and personality!!! That is why I watch Anna!!!! We can always improve!! We are NEVER done learning and growing!!!!!😍😍😍😍😍 Love to all of you and have a wonderful weekend wherever you may be!!!!
I got my first Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 bandouliere at the age of 40. Never in my life have I imagined I'll own one. Is it worth it? It is. It makes me feel good. 😂
I love ❤️ my LV bag I have three of them . They are versatile and love the design. I dont care who liking or wearing it or not. I love myself and I am going to go with my ❤️. I don’t need a labor elegant to defines me.
Finally! 🙌🏻Someone honest about brands. I thought I was the only one who doesn’t like those bag doesn’t matter how expensive they are. I went to Colombia 🇨🇴 South America and I was crazy in love with the quality, leather and design in those bags, some of them handmade, different and unique. Every place where I go in US people just fall in love with my bag. Additionally, there is a brand Nancy Gonzalez, a Colombian brand available in Saks Fifth Avenue in US, absolutely gorgeous!
I've owned the *rrcopys* tote for years and it still looks as beautiful as the day I bought it. The craftsmanship and durability of these bags is truly impressive. There are so many styles and colors of their bags to choose from!
I have worked over 8 years at LVMH and I love the heritage and tradition that the monogram represents. It is true the Neverfull has seen amazing success. But i think it depends on how you wear it. LV has been making active efforts to gravitate towards leather bags creating their icons. But as the travel experts they are nothing is as carefree as a canvas monogram bag. I would say rock it for travel, casual ocassions and as a shopper and you should be fine.
I love my Birken. It’s practical, large, and can be dressed up or down and it’s a classic that never goes out of style. Plus, calling people plain Jane and Juvenile is a poor example of classy.
I feel like it’s not classy to judge people and assume they aren’t classy by what they carry around and all her videos seem really judge mental and putting people down saying you can’t be classy if you do this
The coolest, most beautiful women in the world wear what they like and exude confidence, warmth and kindness. I’ll always prefer authentic, unstudied realness!!
@@edennis8578 … oh please, no one can teach how to look classy. Class comes from inside not only when you are public then goes back to old ways at home. Some people walk around the house with no shoes and some even eat on TVs sofa. That is not classy for me as I am a table person.
Totally agree! I recently got a vintage coach purse as a gift and it was made with real leather and has no logos on the outside. Such a timeless classic!
True but elegance reflects on the outside with how you carry yourself & what you wear. It has a huge role in it. Designer bags are for people who want to show off & do what everyone else is doing. There's nothing wrong with what she said in this video, if you don't like her content don't even spend your time commenting. Watch another channel that you would find more enjoyable :)
Reema Amar we can agree to disagree, we all enjoy different things and spend our own money the way we see fit. I personally don’t buy designer bags to show off. I don’t think she’s talking about what you can or cannot buy. This is simply her advice on which bags she considers elegant & what bags she thinks someone should go for if they want to look classy. But yes, we all have our opinions & we can surely agree to disagree

Here’s an idea. Don’t like the bag, don’t wear them. Easy-peasy. Wear what you want and don’t care about what others think. ✌🏽 edit: And as for Louis Vuitton being trashy, please refer to the late Lady Diana who happily rocked her monogram Toiletry 19 under her arm back in the 90’s.
Hi, in my opinion it's better if you could teach how to be classy and elegant with a normal or even low budget. It's pretty easy to be elegant and classy if you have so much money to spend it on brands. Just go in a shop and take the stuff from the "shopwindow". By the way I love so much how you put the focus on feminity, in clothing as in the attitude. Much hugs 🍀
It’s absolutely possible to look classy and elegant on a budget she probably doesn’t have the where with all to be able to suggest inexpensive ways to achieve the same look.
No matter the money... Really I believe beyond the brand's names...(A sure value is (you). To be aligned with yourself and express as most possible your inner beauty, if you you can reach to synchronise your self, you will shine! You energy will carry it self, where and ever you want to use it. I do appreciate following Anna's tutorials. I certainty hope I understood her teaching, so far!!! Very interesting comments! When Anna said Speedy, my heart cried a little. Audrey Hepburn, a legend who impressed the world with her elegance and simplicity carried speedy. I agree with the ladies who have mentioned here that it's how we carry ourselves matter the most.
It's kind of sad that women think they need a designer handbag to define themselves as affluent. Airheads do that and women with any education in finance know how to invest their money and it sure isn't in some silly handbag.
I don’t understand why people comment on her videos just to disagree with her . It’s her channel. If you don’t agree make your own videos . I personally love her channel.
It really is all about how you carry yourself and what comes out of you mouth when speaking to someone for the first time. For years I shopped at a consignment store that carried many high end items. No one where I worked knew this. I was not affluent... rather resourceful out of necessity. I would get many compliments on what I was wearing and the handbags or shoes I had on. I never had a problem letting people know where I shopped, it's just that no one bothered to question it as they just made an assumption by the way I presented myself and acted. Wasn't snobby or put on airs, but I did remember to have manners and mindful of how I spoke to and treated those around me. To me it doesn't matter what designer bag or clothes you are wearing or not wearing. The majority of people are focused on your face and your speaking voice when first meeting you. You the individual make the clothes, not the other way around. I have met so called "classy" people who were wearing clothing and accessories that were in the thousands of dollars, but were rude and inconsiderate. At first glance they looked sophisticated and elegant, but after being in their company for 5 minutes I was ready to be miles away from them.
Unfortunately the quality of LV or Chanel went way down unless u buy more expensive ones... But I love the monogram...it has always been that luxurious statement piece...but the replica s ruined it so much... Nobody says Neverfull is classy but it is so COMFI to carry lots of stuff...😎
Growing up, I never understood why my mother never bought designer bags when she could easily afford them. As an adult, I now understand that an elegant lady of means feels no need to become a billboard in order to be accepted by strangers.
While I agree with a lot of the things you said, I believe there is a bag for every person/outfit. Yes, the Neverfull is very lax, but it works for a diaper bag and for going to workout or being more casual. It all depends on where you are in your life. I personally don't care what others think, and I buy things that catch my eye (and I rock them too). But yes, I do like buying bags that will never go out of style such as (some of the) Chanel bags. Also, I just want to say that clothes/bags and money can't buy class. I've been around many wealthy/affluent people and they are just like regular people; the good, the bad and the ugly. Lol.
Being classy and sophisticated doesn’t defined on what things you have and wore, it is how you carry yourself. I met some people who owned designer bags but they still look really cheap. No shade!
They do believe or not. Well they don’t really say they are not classy but they can really tell when someone looks cheap( by that I don’t mean cheap of as price)
Since this word ( claasy ) is not important for me. I never ever would analyze if that bag or that woman are classy. If I like bag or style that's all it matters.
It’s interesting when ideas of what are considered to be “classy and elegant” are discussed, items or money and brands are immediately mentioned. Sophistication first and foremost comes from behaviour, speech and demeanour. It has nothing to do with brands and everything to do with aura. It has nothing to do with labels and everything to do with presence. Elegance is discreet, it’s demure, it’s ethereal, it’s classic, it’s evergreen, it’s timeless. A dignified woman is less likely to talk about how much money she spent on her clothes but rather her appreciation for art and culture. It is about being educated, being well-read, well-mannered and well-spoken. The clothes and the bags and the shoes are all just the icing on the cake. This is where most people go wrong within their thinking; they can also be spotted and pitied from a mile away. It is laughable how many people think they can suddenly embody affluence or buy their way into elitism. It is a state of mind and a way of being. You either are or you aren’t and honey no amount of materialism is about to disguise where you truly belong.
Invest and educate yourself. No brand can buy you class.
So true!
Period!!!
Amiiiiiin !
Yes, so true!

Coming from an affluent family, the rule is, any bags or clothing that have designer logos on them, is a no-no. We are not billboards for a designer.
So what brands do you purchase ? If I may ask, your comment is very interesting and I'm curious
pixie 01 - I purchase bags that are handmade if possible.
I am from working class and would not wear one for that reason too
gatamadriz I like your perspective.

Hermes, Chanel, Dior and Yves Saint Laurent .
Lisa Bell actually Chanel and YSL are getting out of style soon I guess. Everyone wears it, way to basic! It might be exclusive now but just like the LV neverfull will be expiring one day
@@JenniferManifests I will buy indi brands with no logos in classic styles, unique.
Lisa Bell That’s true! Very well said.
Ladies, true elegance is confidence, composure, and humility that comes from within, not the bags you wear or the clothes you own. Do not let channels like this talk down on something you love. Life is hard as is, so buy what makes you happy and to hell with what an Internet stranger has to say!

Not entirely, but she's just trying to align you with looking elegant so you can match that energy.
A V find your own energy. She comes off as incredibly bland and judgmental 😊 idk who wants to act like that
Her actual school is "affluence." If you can't walk the walk the affluent will smell you from a mile away. So, essentially, yes it does have to do with how you present yourself - handbags included.
The dress you are wearing is beautiful.
Also wholeheartedly agree with designer handbags! Always appreciate your hard work and videos.
Thank you for this video and where did you buy your dress? I like the V-Neckline with the modesty cover.
Agree, it's lovely
It’s a beautiful dress !!!
I say yes to that dress. It's beautiful and I'd like more fashion videos from Anna - and a "recommended handbag" video.
I also think wealthy Americans are more casual than wealthy people outside of the states….which I appreciate.
lol americans really do have zero style
True wealthy people watch how they spend their money and also do not want to look like billboard advertising. It's new money like a Kardashian who is into designers.

Unfortunately she is right: it’s gotten to the point where there are so many knockoffs that the thrill is gone. And most of the wealthy women I know would never carry one.

True, I find the Neverfull great for travel and functional purposes and to be honest looks better when “bashed around” a little bit!
The Neverfull is great for travel!
nia mc I totally agree! And also love Anna and her videos too 😃
I love my Birken. It’s practical, large, and can be dressed up or down and it’s a classic that never goes out of style. Plus, calling people plain Jane and Juvenile is a poor example of classy.
Kathleen watkins 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I feel like it’s not classy to judge people and assume they aren’t classy by what they carry around and all her videos seem really judge mental and putting people down saying you can’t be classy if you do this
Kathleen watkins well put !
If I had the money, I would deffinetly own a birkin.
But I don't so H&M it is for me 😂
Birkin lady, it's a Birkin...
I always hated the LV one 😂 everyone has it and looks like a suitcase lol
I’m quite surprised Gucci wasn’t mentioned.
_nour yeah I would say Gucci over LV
💯 agree! I really don't find the ones with a heart at the back classy at all. Very juvenile and saturated and don't hold value at all imo.
Definitely
The tackiest brand out there
Maybe, because she actually owns a black Gucci Marmont bag ;)
Don't knock coach their bags are made better than Louis and Gucci!!! That new Burberry print is HIDEOUS.
Especially vintage!
Cap. They made in China. I like the new Burberry Print. made it stock raise .
Totally agree! I recently got a vintage coach purse as a gift and it was made with real leather and has no logos on the outside. Such a timeless classic!
@@thelittlethings678 yes and you can buy 10 for the price of one.
COACH HAS THE MOST HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. It’s a No.
The only LV bag I like is the never full and that’s because it’s so big, sturdy and easy to wear.
The variety of textures in the *topluxs* pack is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there's something for everyone.
Elegance and class is a STATE OF MIND
Natashea Yes. it starts within, but it also has to show without. 💞
Forrest Whittaker’s Eye I hear you and that state of mind should make it show on the outside but a bag isn’t a determinant
I like the stories, heritage and craftsmanship that are behind some of the bags and it’s no different than anyone else who collects things that fascinate them. 🤷🏾♀️, I just get to use mine on a daily basis.
I don’t think she’s talking about what you can or cannot buy. This is simply her advice on which bags she considers elegant & what bags she thinks someone should go for if they want to look classy. But yes, we all have our opinions & we can surely agree to disagree
Disclaimer. Don't be offended
1. The balenciaga classic logo bag
2. The Louis vuitton never full bag
3. The Louis vuitton monogram bag
4. Prada handbags
5. Chloe bags
6. Valentino handbags
7. Burberry handbags
It's neverfull not never fold
Here’s an idea. Don’t like the bag, don’t wear them. Easy-peasy. Wear what you want and don’t care about what others think. ✌🏽
edit: And as for Louis Vuitton being trashy, please refer to the late Lady Diana who happily rocked her monogram Toiletry 19 under her arm back in the 90’s.
yessss!! she was iconic for that period. The monogram bags will never go out of style!
Love LYXBAG the way you show it! You really focus on showing off the bag. I don't think any other RUclipsr can show off bags in as much detail as you.
At least I sincerely feel more and more confident about my self..
@@edennis8578 thank you so much for your comment. I have done that and since I cannot afford expensive garments I got myself a very talent taylor I have my clothes done by her. I invest on high quality fabrics ( most natural as possible) and just mimic the clothings that high end are delivering. I am building my wadrobre little by little and feeling good everyday.
She has videos on this
Well said I was thinking the same thing
Your dress is beautiful, but drop the hair extention ;)
Or match the color....THAT isn’t classy! Lol
@Amira I had just clocked that 😂
GrownWoman625 cheap hair stylist lol. Not classy
Yep not classy!!!
Lmao not classy what so ever. Trash. She’s trash.
I love my Chloe bags, & I agree they’re not classic, definitely bohemian chic... like me 🥰
kyra williams you can be bohemian chic and classy 😊 not classic, but classy. I love boho.
kyra williams resale value and quality is super low
kyra williams i lean towards boho too!
Kyra Williams, me too 😊 I carry a Chloé Drew most days and it's my all time favourite casual bag, it's so simple but so beautiful 🥰 x
@@douloureux. what does it matter if she has no intention on ever selling it?
His LYXBAG tote is beautifully colored, very sturdy and the perfect size. Not too small, not too big. I look forward to joining my rotation.
I don’t buy bags for elegance. I buy what I like! Logos here, logos there! Buy what you love!
Facts
Yessss 🙌🏼
MissLucky87 that part
I agree just have fun with design and make it a passion of yours. I love interior decorating does that mean I’m pretentious for beautifying my home?
“Elegance” is not only what wear and present to the world, it’s also how you carry yourself. Don’t get discouraged by this video if you wear these items because honesty it’s just a purse.
Just a purse...but Men notice a lot more than we think and as women I appreciate her encouraging us to be Smart about this fact rather than ignorant.
@@mariamkarouni3980 Men who are worth a damn notice no such thing....you should concentrate on finding one of those, instead of one worried about what brand you are wearing on your ass. You'll be far better off in the long run.....
Well said...
Elegance doesn't equal materialistic.
What are 'basic people?' People are people...
this video should be called “roasting bags” lol
😂😂😂😂😂 I love it... I own a few of these bags she "roasted" and I thought this video was hilarious! At the end of the day, the stuff she says is not fact.. It's just her opinion , and I take it all with a grain of salt (meaning: her opinion does not hold much weight) lol
S. Öztürk favorite comment lol
@@kwill12086 haha didn't notice it got this many likes until your comment :D I laughed while I was typing as well :D
Lol
Lol🤣🤣🤣
Very interesting comments! When Anna said Speedy, my heart cried a little. Audrey Hepburn, a legend who impressed the world with her elegance and simplicity carried speedy. I agree with the ladies who have mentioned here that it's how we carry ourselves matter the most.
She sounds like one of those rich ladies from titanic lol "it's not classic because too many basic people wear this bag" lolll
Same also insulting plane Jane who is probably busy raising children
She’s super condescendant with her fake posh accent, teaching people how to look like someone they are not.
lmao i was thinking of the titanic ladies too 🤣
Shes saying that its a copy cat bag, and I get her point.

When did women begin to define themselves by a handbag?
Yvonne Sullivan Yes. This seems so superficial. I get tips from Anna’s channel, but I don’t like the “ I gotta look expensive “ vibe.
It's kind of sad that women think they need a designer handbag to define themselves as affluent. Airheads do that and women with any education in finance know how to invest their money and it sure isn't in some silly handbag.
Bravo!
since forever
Preach!!
I honestly think a girl in a simple white t shirt and jeans looks more elegant than someone wearing monogram anything.
Agreed. 👍🤗
Agreed - visible logos take too much attention
Yup 👍🏾
Absolutely.
What about Lilly Pulitzer?
I love it too. Just wear a simpler outfit, not so? I love that it carries alot. Perfect for shopping.
Neverfull and speedy carry a lot of stuff.Practical to bring😊
Growing up, I never understood why my mother never bought designer bags when she could easily afford them. As an adult, I now understand that an elegant lady of means feels no need to become a billboard in order to be accepted by strangers.
Very well said. Thanks
Very true.
everyone has different priorities whether they are poor or rich. it's not about wealth
of means or not, but definitely agree with the rest
@@Mark.372 💯
No shade!
When ur classy or sophisticated you most likely look like it though. Sophisticated people don’t dress like dirty messy slobs.
Yes!
Do women/men really look at others handbags and say “Omg, she’s so not classy!” 😂😂🤦🏽♀️ What is a classy bag?
They do believe or not. Well they don’t really say they are not classy but they can really tell when someone looks cheap( by that I don’t mean cheap of as price)
Judgemental people do unfortunately.
Yes, I had girl friends from upper class who always said that, making fun of women wearing some LV bags or Michael Kors
Yes in our minds. Esp so many embellishments. 😬
Absolutely agree with you... Audrey Hepburn...
I agree. 99% of the time I look homeless. But the times I've dined in a nice restaurant and seen the bon ton act like fools...money doesn't buy class
Very well said👏👏👏 You are an exceptionally good writer.
Pravallika Challa thank you 💓
