I adore you! Even if at the moment I'm unable to afford these bags, my wardrobe looks a lot more elegant even with low budget items. It's all because of your advice. You've definitely influenced and successfully changed my way of thinking about money and people with money.
Even my standards for friends have changed. There are definitely female friendships that don't add to my life, but I've been able to find and nurture friendships that are worth it.

Banana Republic has some great leather bags. No logo. Good quality. Kind price tag. Especially if you can find on sale or second hand online.
Just go to regular store and get something similar. Bags are meant to be worn, become dirty, used and if you get a basic less expensive one, you won’t need to worry about getting robbed
I went to Studio Augusta when I went to Paris in the summer. I bought Monceau at *hotdups* to match. My only regret is not purchasing more. I really hope to get a mini Marley one day.

Often this costs less, can be custom made, and the leather is usually high quality and very thoughtfully chosen. If I’m going to drop over $3000, I’d rather buy a custom saddle for my horse and I.

My aunt could afford whatever she wanted and she LOVED Aigner. That is all she would carry. There was not even one place where people didn't ask about her bags. Now she did have quite a few lol so the price may have added up.
Aigner was VERY popular in the late 70s early 80s …especially for the popular double wrap around belts…and especially in the South

The *suluxs* are really good these days. Especially LV. To be honest, a birkin or a Kelly at the end of the day, is really just a simple bag to make.. so it’s not that hard to make it perfectly like the authentic. I say it’s a win. I own a couple and I’m not ashamed. I’ll save the 20,000 plus per bag and use it for my children and trips instead.

I'm a little surprised a Lady Dior Bag did not make your list of top 10, or at least an honourable mention. Classic, elegant, timeless and feminine, are all words that would describe the Lady Dior. I have admired it since I was a little girl and has been on my 'must-have-most-coveted' list ever since.
This list is more for everyday bags and as much as I love my lady Dior , I don’t really wear it casually.

Any simple black leather backpack without a logo but with high quality leather is a great option. Also I have a sleek work backpack from Lo&Sons (they have pretty good sales too)
I would also love a video on that. I don't have a car, because it just doesn't make a lot of sense for me, but I often have to carry a lot of things around.

Other than the Gucci Jackie O bag, which I love, and perhaps the Hermes Herbag (which is very expensive for a canvas bag), the other bags all have a similar, boxy, uninspiring silhouette, usually carried by old ladies. 😅 And some have an open top without a zip that is not secure enough for keeping personal belongings safe.

My criteria for bags went from “i love this” to “does this fit a sippy cup, a diaper, pack of wipes and snack cup” 😂 if the answer is no, then it doesn’t fit “my essentials” ☺️☺️☺️

I have noticed that the only individuals that notice my luxury item is another owner or admirer of the brand. I do buy vintage and pre-owned. There are many videos about the care and cleaning of luxury items.
Always remember to buy what YOU like and appreciate.

I'm all about vintage luxury now. I have Fendi, Gucci ( Tom Ford era) and Chanel from back in the day. All still in amazing condition. I sold all my LV earlier this year. Out of love with LV. I'm just uninspired by new bags.

Love your videos, but could you make a video of more affordable bags? For the vast majority of us, even $300-500 is a lot of money for a bag, so a video/suggestions for those of us who simply cannot even consider anything with a 4-digit price tag would be so nice! There are many brands (Polene, Furla, Camelia Roma, etc) that are great quality, still made in Spain or Italy, etc. Would love to hear your input on such bags! 🙂

I was looking and found Kate Middleton bags are great and great price not only her but lady’s in the royal family. Yes, it highlights the Class difference, no matter where in the world you are. Though I can not conceive of spending the amounts of money these luxury bags are priced at, it helps me to work on two important aspects of Leveling Up.

The Hermes Garden Party is the perfect everyday bag and travel tote for me. Love the design and I have had it and worn it for 10 years and it does not show wear and tear. The YSL Sac Du Jour Medium is also perfect for me when I take it to work but now after this video, I'll get the nano size because it's perfect for day to night bag. I think the Louis Vuitton Alma in Epi leather is the classy understated bag,personally like the PM size myself. It’s also not as expensive as that LV one on your list Anna. Mulberry Bayswater is another bag no one talks about.
I have the alma bb in epi and I absolutely love it. It’s extremely classy and durable. The act is was created for coco Chanel makes it special and it has a lot of history.

Anna, I’m surprised that Mulberry bags are never mentioned. I find them to be wonderful quality with timeless designs and they are a good entry level luxury brand.
Mulberry, my absolute favourite. It's so understated elegance, fantastic quality, the older the bag, the better the leather looks and feels. It's in the category ' if you know, you know'. Several icons to choose from.

I love the sac du jour but I always thought it was a bit heavy. I think the nano is a great option because it’s probably a lot lighter.

I was very impressed at the quality, I wasn’t expecting it😭 it was about $470, which is better than the YSL price tag of 2,000+🫠. It’s called “Sac à main mini Madame” and i got the lizard embossed one. It doesn’t have a lot of logos, it’s small like the Sac de Jour, it’s genuine leather, fast shipping. There aren’t many options color wise but I love mine🖤🙂
