Yea, you do need more feeder troughs. When I raised beef cattle, I fed mine range cubes with hay bales. Kept mine fairly tamed by using the range cubes and let me tell ya, when you work by yourself, it makes having to handle them quite easier and safer for yourself. To help with your "hot wire fence", honestly, add a 2nd strand. For the clover, unfortunately, only 1 of 2 things you can do, keep them off of it or check them 2-3 times daily. Sucks when they bloat, I remember a time our vet every morning and evening, he'd come out stab them with a syringe needle and you could just hear the gas release out of their stomach(s) and the smell... something I'll never ever forget. Take some of your old tractor tires, add a bottom to them, use those as feeders, unless you're not allowed to do such. Cheers :)
Great video. Don’t know that Liv would agree the Defender is a relegation from the gator.. maybe having a spare wheel for the gator would be a good idea. Keep up the good work.
You haven't a enough of feed space for your calves you need more troughs
geez I'd say Phil would never have figured that one out,
Well done liv, calves are a credit to you, a real stock woman👍👍

If you cut or trampled the docks down you would have a proper shock. The wire is earthing as its lien on them

Best of luck with all the calves now for 2024 👍👍👍
Liv doin great job with the stock. Always good toget a bit of free feed
Hi farmer Phil that was a great job with your fresion calf and good ones 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Fine looking calves .Clover is doing well this year.
Garlic lick buckets are ideal for mineral deficient stock and also serve as a reliable fly/ tick repellent 👍
Brilliant video Phil. Nice to have a livestock one tbh. Thank you 👍
well done Liv, good editing also.
Use uddermint to keep the cleggs of ya very good stuff also for good for your joints
Good stuff
Could be worth buying a bit of bloat oil for the calves on the strong grass. It's cheap compared to a call from the vet or a dead animal
Happy Tuesday evening Farmer Phil and Liv our favourite farmers in the world 🌎.So so good luck with those Calves.🦚🦚🦚🦚🦚🐄🐄🐑🐑🐑🐄🐄🐄🐑🐄🐑

Growvite is some product for minerals for calf’s. You should try that. Down the mouth.

Do you guys have much trouble with grass tetany.....if so how do you deal with it
Ooh 😮😮 grass tetany affects cows in milk not getting sufficient magnesium on a daily basis. Rarely affects dry stock.
How was your day
👏👏💪💪🇮🇪🇮🇪🙏🙏👍👍
What happened to back glass in cab ?
