Nothing beats when SD played the London Arena and for the encore they brought on Elliott Randall who now lives in London to play on “Reelin” it was brilliant, there is a video of that on RUclips

Saw them perform it live in April 1974 at the U. of Toledo, and just like here Michael McDonald's voice just dominated the chorus.

Really enjoyed the Denny Dias/Jeff Baxter double-lead solo. Double leads in harmony were very fashionable in the early 70s.

@Fryx Ur Goofing on 70s fashion is always fun. Fagen was kind of the band's ugly version of Freddy Mercury, but he looked like Elvis compared to David Palmer. Sorry, but that guy just did not have the looks to be a successful rock front man.

Remember "Blowin' Free" by Wishbone Ash?

Ive seen this famous song being listed as "Traditional "
If so, where did the melody come from??
    Anyone know?
Version 2 is a bit messy but would have been fine on the night.
Version 3 is the most interesting to me.

Denny Dias is STILL a phenomenal player to this day. I’ve heard he will make a few rare appearances with SD on certain convenient Northeast dates…
