Side buttons of the mouse can be used for back and forward browsing, also the left two multifunctional buttons on the keyboard have the same functions

Can we switch both keyboard and mouse at once by pressing their switching key to other devices?

Yes, it is instantaneous. But you will need to press the switch key on the keyboard, and then the small switch button on the mouse.

I have the same set of keyboard and mouse which I'm using on a laptop with Windows 10 OS. The keyboard can connect automatically through bluetooth but i have to pair the mouse every time manually for some reason. Any advice on how i can fix that?

That's strange. I don't have that problem with my mouse.

How's the battery life? Does it have a feature thst turns off temporarily while not in use for a while?

It's not rechargeable. It uses AA batteries. There's no off switch. I never turn it off. And I can't remember the last time I changed batteries.
