Very, very good review, because you highlight both the positive and the negative aspects of the product. And your perspectives were delivered clearly and sensibly, unlike some "reviewers" who clearly go in for excessive movements and all manner of needless behavior. If I want a sensible, professional, and informative review, I'll come here in the future.
This looks awesome, and it might be just what i need to use for my PC and mac without having to physically switch keyboard and mouse every time. Now all I need is the German keyboard layout and I'm sold.
Good review, thanks...the keyboard is great, small and works fine
Brilliant review mate!
Love this keyboard, looks great - I’ve just done an unboxing of jelly comb ultra slim keyboard
you are very cool my friend.. perfect review thank you:)
How many mm is the space between the keys? I've been using the E9070 for many years, but finally need an upgrade.
Great review. Really helped with my decision to buy. Thanks!
How'd you rate it after ten months? :)
@@Sebastian-hx4zx If you’re the touch-typing kind, you may find that some keys needs to be more pronounced or have embossed markers so you can hit them precisely. This applies to the Backspace and Enter keys, since the keyboard is compressed. Other than that, all good and still satisfied until today. Hope this helps.
@@joshrefuerzo Hey Josh, thank you very much for your kind response, it helps a lot indeed :) Backspace and Enter won't be a problem since in german layouts these buttons are built a lot bigger anyway but thanks for the info! One last question, if it's okay for you: Did you experience any issues with missing letters or letters that are being registered double when typing text (I've read this in some reviews)? Thanks a lot again! :)
@@Sebastian-hx4zx Haven’t experienced those issues you’ve mentioned.
@@joshrefuerzo Thanks a lot again, mate! :)
I don't know how but I buy this for just 5 Euro new from the market in Germany. Great review thanks
i got the e-9100p. and i love it. but the keys are getting worn. i looked for the same model, but could not find it, so i bought the 9300m. awaiting delivery. my guess is that the keyboards are the same; looks similar (only the 'enter' button is different). but the mouse looks different. once when i was in ibn battuta mall in dubai, an electronics store was clearing out all rapoo models. I bought 5 different versions for around 5 to 8 USD each. the e-9100p is the one i use daily. but i cannot find it anymore ;(
It's expensive but I've just started using the Logitech MX Keys. Best keyboard I've ever used. No batteries, charges fast with USB C and works with RF or Bluetooth. If it's dark, the keys light up when your hand gets close to the keyboard. You can also connect it to up to 3 different devices.
Sounds good. I will check it out.
Do you know how i can use my mouse on my phone? It would make working easier
If you press a button at the edge does it work?
2 issues: A. horrible blue background in black version FN, B. why not a sub cable for charging (and alternative to ie. 1st BT connection)? same with mouse, add a USB. would be a killer combo, would pay extra 15 for it.
I've noticed there are actually 2 sets of Home/End, PageUp/PageDown keys. One set on arrows, used in combination with Fn just as you have shown. Second set on number keys 7/1, 9/3. How can those be used instead of typing numbers?
They only function as numbers with the Num Lock activated.
Good review
Metal is to prevent flex...
is there command key for use short-cut command key ?
They are very high quality products actually. I got another slightly different 9300 combo before xmas & just tried it now. I paid about £14 new lidl. But I see today in store they are about £30 most places, like your white 1 here also. A standard included mouse that's actually 'ok' for gaming from the box. They're usually a bit ropey WiFi mice. DPI select, forward/back & good tracking. Dodgy name Rapoo, we all know what a poo is in the UK but, high quality products nonetheless.
@@413xR still going well.
I can't connect the mouse to the USB dongle. I can only connect my keyboard. Would you be able to help me with connecting the mouse?
Does it support print screen function?
I'm a UI/UX Designer. Is it good for designing?
how the hell do i use the at button
Hello i have a question regarding a old video when you did the 27 kilometer range test on the radios i was asking if you modified the rt24 thank you (:
No. The radios were set to standard 0.5W power output (which in reality is usually slightly less on the RT24)
@@tdcattech alright thanks you so as soon as its out of the box it can reach 27 k right?
Given the same conditions we were using them in, yes (complete line of sight)
@@tdcattech alright thank you so much means a lot to me thank you (:
Are the keys backlit? I'm desperate for a wireless keyboard with back lighting that isn't super wide or without numeric key pads.
No. Afraid not. That would be nice though. I guess it uses much more battery.
Which 1 did yo you settle with?
I can only see Logitech MX keys As a good option.. but for me itl be 200USD.
Does does this device allow file or text sharing - for instance, copy text from a word document on computer #1 and paste into document on computer #2?
No. I don't know if that's a thing but you can't do it with this keyboard.
@@tdcattech Thanks. Some of the logitech devices have this feature.
do you think i can also use this for my android tv (mibox s)?
It should work. Mibox has no problem with Bluetooth so any keyboard should be fine. That is no more than an educated guess, however :-)
When you switch between devices, how long does it take to switch? And when you switch using the keyboard then does the mouse also switch, or do you have to switch the keyboard and mouse separately?
The switch is immediate but it takes a few seconds for the respective devices to realise that they have a new input device or have just had one removed. Not long at all. The keyboard and mouse are not synced. They need to be switched out separately. That would be a nice addition, providing it was optional.
@@tdcattech Are there any other brands where the mouse and keyboard are synced together ?
can we use the keyboard and the mouse separately? for instance using the keyboard, while we use different brand of mouse. Thanks
With Bluetooth, sure. With wireless, it would take 2 USB ports as you’d need to use the wireless dongle of the mouse as well as the keyboard.
Can u connect it to ur PS4
Please do you have any idea if it can work with a Linux OS. Cheers !!
Would see no reason why not. This is just a fairly standard Bluetooth device (v3 and v4) so it will work OK.
legend
The '@' button is shown near to enter but it won't work, It works when we press 'Shift + Num2'. Overall keyboard looks cool but u cannot do these silly mistakes.
It has the perfect layout, my wired Rapoo died from electrostatic shock… Nobody is making exactly the keyboard I want and I don’t want much, it’s crazy you can’t find a compact flat clicklet, wired, plastic keyboard with no space between the keys... But since it has 2.4 and is cheap I will buy it just to try. I really dont want battery required keyboard nor something that will interfer with my wireless VR setup.
It does havehome etc on the numpad though…
Since i already have a mouse, can i connect only the keyboard to my device using the usb 2.4Ghz?
No. Each device has a dedicated ID which prevents mixing and matching of devices (this is a good thing 👍🏻)
It's mean that i'll have to use both the keyboard and the mouse at the same time if i use usb 2.4GHz?
I was hoping you would show us how to pair them, but now I am lost. The pairing has stopped on the mouse and the keyboard has now lost it's function too. Those instructions are so small that I had to plug my old keyboard and mouse in to find the relevant instructions. Other than that it is a good keyboard, but lacking in the user manual.
I thought I had shown that when I paired them with my iPhone.
Hi, does it have a capslock led indicator?
No LED indicators at all. It would be a nice addition.
it just looks nice but keyboard goes regularly to saving mode and it is really bad
got this and its horrible. The power saving mode is bad. How do I change that?
Disable power saving for the device through Windows.
hey' what was the reference keyboard?
The larger keyboard with the metal upper is the Microsoft Surface Bluetooth Keyboard.

Can you use this for android phones?
plz help me
Yes. It's Bluetooth so it will connect to any Android phone.
Good reviews, but I want to ask is it a scissors-switch keyboard?
Same question, all their slim keyboards just say "mebrane keys"
Am I seeing it right that the keyboard is moving as you type? Or just bad keyboard placement on that part there (sound test)
It does but this is just because I’m working on a sofa/couch so the pressing of the keys is depressing the sofa.
It moves on a desk too. The keyboard bends slightly during typing, but not as bad as cheap generic Chinese keyboards.
does the mouse work without plugging in the usb dongle
As long as your device supports Bluetooth, yes. The dongle is only for 2.4G mode (non-bluetooth)
@@tdcattech thank you and particularly for replying so quickly
killed too much time to explain a simple product. You can + should complete the review / unbox session within 300 seconds.
Typing action on these is absolutely awful. Crappy, short travel membrane switches. Do yourself a favour and buy yourself a proper mechanical keyboard with lubed optical switches.
Mechanical keyboard is equally not for everyone. Clearly it’s offers a far superior typing experience but it’s also big and loud.
