It has that header and footer to make it absolutely stable, that is why you are so satisfied with the feeling while you typing, that is also why you are not hearing any annoying sounds when you press the key, also that design looks marvelous, without it would look like any other boring slim cheap keyboard on the market. Regarding the mouse, I'm personally sick and tired of small mouses, too many of them on the market, those are quite unprofessional sizes. I'm always searching for something at least big like this one, that is a minimum size requirement for precise working. I purchased several keyboard + mouse sets because of their beautiful keyboards and I always replace those small mouses with the real ones, useful ones. Your video is nice, but you see 2 huge benefits of this set as a downside.

the top row "header" above the F keys contains extra functions , that light up when your finger gets close to it. for adjusting volume etc. i have the 8900P and use it for years daily ! it's great. i am very curious about that mouse though.

The 8900P has this functionality, but the 9900M doesn't, it just appears visually the same.....

So you want a lousy keyboard? Best keyboards for typing are full sized mechanical keys. I've used them all and you can't change my mind on this.

@@MAGAMAN man, or woman, or who you are, do not be like that, Every person prefers different things. I switched from my laptop to stupid mechanical keys, I have never hated my life more and I make more typos that I have ever been doing. If you want to say that practicing will help - no it will not, I have had this stupid thing for two years, and I type everyday a lot of things and in fast tempo. My wrists have never been killing me like that, now I am in constant chronic pain dut to this THE BEST KEYBOARDS for typing. I've used laptops since I was a kid, and as far as you can see for some people laptop keyboard is the only way. so there is no such thing as THE BEST FOR EVERYONE - we are different

No. It only comes with a 2.4G receiver. You will need to buy a Bluetooth receiver if you want to use it on Bluetooth. Remember though that you can just use this on the 2.4G mode too.

I have 9900M for a couple of years now and i was extremely disappointed with the keyboard, because it lacked multimedia keys (one of the reasons i bought it), but even without that, it doesn't have any additional software to at least show you on screen when you have caps lock on, or num lock... it is pathetic.

Literally everything wrong with Mac hardware in one video. Low profile keyboards suck. Wireless keyboards and mouses... Mice... Meeses... suck. Touch screen anything on a keyboard sucks.
Still using a first gen Corsair K70 and a Logitech G9 mouse with all the weights in it.
EDIT: Full sized Mechanical keys are the only way to go. If I still had my 1980s IBM keyboard, I would be using it today. Not only was is a great keyboard, but it made a great weapon (Heavy and Metal) and it could stop a bullet (probably...).

Hi, i just got the keyboard today. I couldnt change the volume or brightness ect on it, while connected to a mac. i unselected the option to use f1, f2 ect as standard f keys and the Function keys are now the same as the mac keyboard. e.g the f8 now pauses video or song.
