GREAT conversation. Excellent questioning. Always appreciated Freddie's work. Fully appreciate him as a good human being. Beautiful clear, coherent, real talk. Peace! 🌱
Could listen to Freddie talk for hours about wrestling. His eloquence, passion and understanding of the business, the fans and different generations is great to listen too. Great interview Chris!
Big fan of Freddie in his hey day. I Know What You Did Last Summer, She's All That, Boys and Girls. So many hits from my childhood. It's cool that he just is down to earth and enjoys his hobbies
In all the years I've been watching videos on RUclips, this was the first interview I've watched in it's entirety without skipping forward or getting bored with. I was fully engaged and invested in everything that was said. I'm actually surprised by how intriguing I found this interview, not even gonna lie. Anyway, you sir broke me, broke my streak of not watching full interviews, good job lol.
I have to say CVV this is one of the best interviews I have seen on your channel. Freddie is one of the most down to earth normal everyday person you would meet on the street. I was planning to watch only 20mins and watch this in parts over a few days but I watched it in one sitting. Awesome Thanks again :)
Thank you for this interview, gentlemen. There was some very helpful perspective in this and for that I am grateful. Could listen to you guys talk for hours. I love how CVV makes his interviews feel like a conversation.
Haven't seen his movies, not into wrestling, but Freddie voices the Iron Bull and James Vega in two of my favorite games and that makes him my number 1 sidekick forever. Much love to Freddie.
Might possibly be the best CVV interview of 2022. Definitely my favorite so far. Excellent conversation with Freddy. Now I'm looking for his podcast because of how down to earth this conversation made him look.
I feel like MJF studied what made Roddy piper so good, that dude wrote so many things down, taking bits and pieces from everything he heard and seen, then when time came with the spotlight, he had already so much material ready to spit out.
Had to watch cause I know Freddie drops gems. And gems he dropped. I shared like 5 of them in me and the crews group text. analytics in art, dream vs vision, actions and reactions. Great stuff. Thanks again for another amazing interview, Chris.
I loved him in Scooby-Doo as kid and then finding out he made my favorite wrestler of all time the WWE Champion was mind blowing, I'll forever be grateful to this man
I absolutely love both of your Freddie prinze jr interviews. His views are so spot on I agree him from MJF being the perfect heel and to know he worked in wrestling and he feels the same way about that I do he has a lot of insight and understanding of this world that should be listened to.
Excellent interview, love Freddie Prinze Jr, such an underrated actor today. Grew up with most his past films as teen and I too always wondered what really happened to him and his career. Such a great down to earth guy. Both of you guys where very real and professional, watch whole interview btw 👍
Awesome interview. Remember watching “Chico and the Man” as a kid growing up, was one of my favorite shows. Can’t wait to see a new wrestling promotion
Congratulations for your camera director who framed the shots knowing in advance that they were going to edit on split screens so he had to perfectly frame the shots with both full and split screen in mind... as a camera director myself that is something to applaud.
I love FPJ so much. I could listen to him all day if I could. I can't wait for his promotion to start and I'm just so eager to see how different it'll be and what his vision is.
Great interview Chris! Been listening to Wrestling with Freddie/Friends since it came out and always wanted to hear him in a longer podcast/interview setting where he is the guest.
Summer Catch will always be the best, I've been watching that movie since it came out. Specifically took a trip to the cape to Chatham to see a game because of it. If that movie is on, I will carve out time to watch it.
Freddie is the best, man. Had to stop listening to his podcast because there's an add every 6 minutes, so it was nice to get to hear an uninterrupted talk with him.
I love how some major stars like Freddy or Billy Corgan give you an hour of their time whilst others like "Eleven" can only give 4mins of theirs. Speaks volumes of who's real vs who's egos self-elevate themselves.
I remember the days before RUclips, Star Wars fans went to the theaters that was showing "Wing Commander" starring Freddie Prince Jr. to only watch the exclusive Star Wars - Episode 1 trailer and then would leave before the movie started. I actually thought "Wing Commander" wasn't that bad of a movie. This was a great interview with Freddie Prince Jr.
The first time you 2 spoke it was a great time, and this is no different. Actually it's better since you got to do it in person this go around. FPJ is an interesting dude, and is full of stories. Good chat.
Terrific interview! FPJ is a great man because of the wisdom that was instilled in him by great elders. I agree with everything he said except for the wrestling because I know nothing about modern wrestling lol.
I’ve wanted to meet Freddie for years him and Mathew Lillard were my go to actors as a kid and teen whether it was scooby doo summer catch or she’s all that. Hoping to meet him at a comic con
I didn't know what to expect because I've never seen or heard FPJ speak outside of movies, but my God do I love this man now. He's so real, relatable, charming, intelligent, nerdy, open-minded, and knows what's wrong with modern society while still adapting to it. I also loved his comment when he said something along the lines of, "I don't know how I went on that tangent. I'm sorry for going on a side-quest".
Are you serious??? Freddie is the EXACT opposite of what you see and is part of what's wrong with society today. Like he barely seemed to enjoy talking to Chris and you could even see Chris struggling with that a bit. Like even I sometimes wonder what Sarah saw in him because he always seem tense and uptight about something but I guess opposites attract with some people.
Freddie Prince Jr. Is sooooo cool even in his 40s he sounds like a cool casual 20 year old. I was always a fan of his movies and then all his podcasts appearances. He's SOOOO COOOL!!!! I WISH I CLD SOUND AND TALK like him with his cadence. Ps Love you Chris van Vliet Mad Love!!! Mad Respect!!!
As a formal baseball player myself that was scouted as a pitcher, Summer Catch speaks to me. Plus Cape Cod is great! One thing I found very interesting is that FPJ put out a cookbook IRL and he's in a movie called Down to You where his character dreams of becoming a chef. Overall though, I really like FPJ because he's so down to earth and authentic. Plus him actually becoming a writer for the WWE is really damn cool. 💯
Thank you for bringing up Summer Catch! Crazy how he doesn’t think a lot of people have watched it! Thats one of my favorite Baseball movies! They play it on MLB network! If i saw him, I would be like “Yo Ryan Dunne!” 😅
Hate is a strong word, but I never did care much about Freddie, but this two interviews I've seen Chris doing with Freddy, definitely has raised my respect for both.
Never in a million years would I have known FPJ was this cool! Way too much to comment on here, he’s someone I’d want as a friend in real life - a simple guy with a wealth of experience and shares the same interests as I do!
"Chico and the Man": the Man was the grandfather/grandpa in "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" (with Gene WIlder); that was a cool film; the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005) remake directed by Tim Burton (with Johnny Depp as Wonka) = I didn't see that one yet; there is a new rebooted version too called "Wonka" (2023) with Timothe Chamalet (as Wonka) and Hugh Grant as a Oompa-Loompa; Freddie Prinze Sr. was on The Tonight Show (with Johnny Carson and Ed McMahon). Freddie (Prinze) Jr. is quite spot on, the generational gap of different pro wrestling eras (Generation X (1970's-1980's), Millennials/Gen Y: 1980's-1995's), Gen Z (1995-2010's) and Gen Alpha (2010's-now/the present day). "I feel that Everything has been Done in (pro) Wrestling." - Chris Van Vliet (CVV); I liked his take on the "Masked Magician" with the Magician's "spoiler reports". Freddie Prinze Jr. is trying to keep Kayfabe alive. I get it.

the movie he couldn’t remember he did was Head over Heels btw
Freddie seems like one of the most down to earth dudes. I remember joining his Twitch streams and he was always super cool to everyone in the chat.
I dont know if I would say that because if you notice, he barely seemed interested in answering Chris questions hahaha
Summer Catch is a must watch for me at least once a year. The chemistry between FPJ and Mathew Lillard is amazing!!!
Such a good movie!
I wish Mathew willard and fpj had more movies together and more movies now as older men
GREAT conversation. Excellent questioning. Always appreciated Freddie's work. Fully appreciate him as a good human being. Beautiful clear, coherent, real talk. Peace! 🌱
Thanks Bob!
What a great interview! I can listen to FPJ talk all day, so insightful.
Dude is such a wise man.
This dude is so positive. Makes you like him and just want to listen to everything he says.
Could listen to Freddie talk for hours about wrestling. His eloquence, passion and understanding of the business, the fans and different generations is great to listen too.
Great interview Chris!

Wow! You guys need to do a weekly show together, this was amazing to listen to!
Not many people can keep me honed in for a full interview. I loved this.
Thank you for this interview, gentlemen. There was some very helpful perspective in this and for that I am grateful. Could listen to you guys talk for hours. I love how CVV makes his interviews feel like a conversation.
Freddie is so awesome. I love the way he thinks. His podcast is great and he's always a good guest. Thank you Freddie and thank you Chris!
I say this interview was soo good. I wanna see round 3 with you guys. It would be cool too see you guys book the territory together for fun.
I can’t wait for round 3!
@@ChrisVanVliet you guys should write a movie about a wrestler.
Haven't seen his movies, not into wrestling, but Freddie voices the Iron Bull and James Vega in two of my favorite games and that makes him my number 1 sidekick forever. Much love to Freddie.
Bro always have been a fan of Freddie, but this is such a great interview. Love how he speaks and is very humble.
Might possibly be the best CVV interview of 2022. Definitely my favorite so far. Excellent conversation with Freddy. Now I'm looking for his podcast because of how down to earth this conversation made him look.
Freddie is the man, and Chris another fantastic interview, lots of love from Nova Scotia!!
I feel like MJF studied what made Roddy piper so good, that dude wrote so many things down, taking bits and pieces from everything he heard and seen, then when time came with the spotlight, he had already so much material ready to spit out.
One of the best interviews you’ve ever done! What a great guest. FPJ is the man.
thank you for this amazing interview 👏👏👏👏
I find myself watching every Freddie Prinz Jr interview
Your greatest hits album is one of my favorite of all time
Had to watch cause I know Freddie drops gems. And gems he dropped. I shared like 5 of them in me and the crews group text. analytics in art, dream vs vision, actions and reactions. Great stuff. Thanks again for another amazing interview, Chris.
By far one of the best interviews I've listened to. Awesome 👏
I loved him in Scooby-Doo as kid and then finding out he made my favorite wrestler of all time the WWE Champion was mind blowing, I'll forever be grateful to this man
Glad I found this interview 🖤
Definitely gonna look up his podcast. FPJ is so good at understanding wrestling and just life while staying so grounded

Man, I love listening to Freddy Prince Jr tell stories. Your last interview was a banger. This one is just as good.
This was sooo good. Thank you to all involved 🙏
Caught the clips on the other channel. Had to come here and watch the whole thing. Amazing interview!
Such a fantastic chat really enjoyed it so much
Another Really great interview CVV! I respect his perspective about the younger generation as well as his mind for the wresting business.
Awesome interview. Remember watching “Chico and the Man” as a kid growing up, was one of my favorite shows. Can’t wait to see a new wrestling promotion
I enjoyed this interview, really good knowledge and wisdom from a guy I grew up watching.

The split screen just makes it look like you’re looking into a mirror of your future self😂

Really good interview. Seems like a chill guy who had some really cool life experiences that he didn't let jade him

I have a lot of respect for Freddy Prince junior That's what human beings need to be right there.
FPJ is such a positive man. I loved his father in Chico and the Man when I was a kid. His dad would be so proud of him.
Awesome interview. His podcast is awesome!

Mad Respect!!!
I really can't wait to watch his wrestling shows!
Your thoughts and comments are a breath of fresh air, freddie. Props to you as well for putting family first above all the typical hollywood nonsense.
that was a good hour, seeing how fred thinks, his new company, was a pure vibe, nice job fellas.
i agree 30 mins is too much for me, just messing lol
Freddie's take on things are really good
That was a brilliant interview. It made realise something I didn’t know. Which is, I love FPJ.
I love these interviews with Freddie. I'd love to have him as my next-door neighbor. Congratulations on becoming a dad!
Great interview 👍

108:30 the CM Punk clip hooked me, then I watched the entire interview. Fascinating. Great interview with lots of valuable insights. Context matters!
YOOO YOU GOT FREDDIE BACK ON?! I haven't clicked on a interview so quick lol
Hope you enjoy our chat!
@@ChrisVanVliet im in mid listen now so far dope 👌 🙌

Another classic interview from Mr cvv
Here is another actor who didn’t let Hollywood destroy him. I love it!!
Good interview was watching some of his dad's stuff the other day.
He is a class act
I loved and watched the whole thing.
Now I really want to watch "She's All That"
I hear Kanan in Freddie's voice. I sometimes miss the link between actors and animation. Best of luck in the new year to all.
The great Monica Potter was in Head over Heels 🥰
Fuck, this was so good. Freddie is such a nice and calm dude, wish I could meet him.
I do remember him having a sitcom and I remember his sitcom having a crossover with George Lopez's sit com
You mean ''Freddie'' which I think should've lasted.

The odd split screen was trippy at first lol
