To be honest when Liz said New York was the capital of the world, I was skeptical, but having a stranger immediately spit in her mouth is actually a fantastic argument for why it should be.

capital doesnt necessarily mean "humanity capital" humanity is clearly lacking in nyc.

I got sneezed right in the face when I was in my teens. Chinatown, Asian guy. I was walking down the street and he was moving boxes from the store to a car outside. As I walked passed him, we crossed, he stopped to let me go, but before that he gave me the BIGGEST SNEEZE ON MY FACE I HAVE EVER GOTTEN. Just full on lol. Of course I got sick that week. Ah NYC. It’s my town 😂

Yeah, it's baffling when Americans are like "wow have you never been to New York??" and I'm like "the only things that made my other visits to the US bearable was the people I was gonna meet; about the only thing you people got is cheap shopping and you can get that elsewhere"
@Username I saw some lovely traffic in the burning city of LA. Universal Studios Park was neat too; had a ride for the Mummy movies, very nostalgic and the Harry Potter castle.
Alas, I behaved like an utter churl to my host and therefore may never return. I truly am a dreadful person at times, though I hope one day to be better
