This guy is smart enough to not "fuss all over her" just let her be, in a way "ignored her", meaning just being together with her, while not forcing himself on her. Honestly? I swear, my heart swelled up when I saw her starting to eat on her own after he hand fed her for a bit. Almost cried. Poor, sweet little girl. So adorable and deserving of so MUCH LOVE. Bless this Vet for taking the time to believe in her and to sit with her and show her that not all humans are bad. So lovely.

@@scottbaxter2682 Thank you. I will initially volunteer in a shelter for dogs and cats, particularly in the recovery of abandoned, newborn or injured ones. Later I would like to open my own refuge, obviously involving specialized personnel. The goal is not to earn money, otherwise I would open a bar. I have done research and studies and a lot of effort and good will is needed. A tip: start doing something immediately after the retirement, because the change of life is very relevant.

I took in a dog like this from the pound, at first she just would cower in the bushes, I would sit and feed her by hand just like this, it took months to see changes, 2 years later shes the best minded dog I've ever had

@@choceechup6573 ya, when i was at t he pound searching for a dog, i saw her sitting in the corner so sad, my brother thought i was crazy for taking in such a traumatized looking animal and he wanted one of the little hyper ones, now she is super playful, very easy to take care of, so well minded, my brother constantly talks about how he would have never thought a dog can change so much. just have to show them love, and spend time with them, constantly going on hikes, camping etc.

He taught me so much and was alway's there to help like you do. 1985 showing up to our farm in a station wagon with everything he needed. One of the most compassionate people I have ever met. Thank you for sharing your stories.
I live Dr Pohl awesome individual all the caring animal doctors who do it for love. Dr Andrew in Australia is amazing he gets some tough cases.

When the officials figure out who I was my grannie rescued me, your patience, your kindness, your unconditional love has me in such happy tears this morning. @@noeljoseph666 Fed him a few days (he was starving). Left the gate open (Nope - he was staying?). Door knocked to try find an owner - no luck. He had no microchip or collar. The vet who checked him said I should take him to the pound in case someone claims him so I did. I rang and checked every few days..... No one wanted him.... they said they'd "do the best they could" I said what does that mean if no one claims him after about 3 weeks checking on him? they sort of edged politely towards saying... well destruction. I hopped in my car and thought $#@! that within 10 seconds.... and adopted him! Beautiful, sensitive dog - clearly abused previously (eg he ate my shoe - i just told him off and he went hiding for 2 days). He's ok now and a legend at the beach or river. Oh - best guess is that he's a cross between Rhodesian ridgeback and Amstaff. Goooooood, happy boy

My family owns and operates a veterinary clinic and we are all devoted to the care of animals, but I have never seen devotion such as this doctor towards this eternally grateful pup, Gracie. It proves that everyone is worthy of all our effort, care and genuine love. If you do not truly love animals and children, please do not undertake care of them. They will know every time.
