Best car review channel on RUclips by miles! Always get a feeling of what the car is actually like to live with...and some genuine laugh out load moments in every video. Keep up the good work!!
And again, i don't even like car shows, but you do make some fantastic entertaining videos on this channel. Please don't ever stop making them, Jordy Jebus.
Speaking of health and safety bongs, I’ve been driving a ‘Vauxhall’ Astra rental car for the last month or so. It has this bright red light in the dash that enthusiastically triggers for all sorts of stuff. It flashes up on the windscreen and makes a determined set of warning bongs at the same time. I’ve got used to it now, but it’s almost becoming something I ignore, which means when I do need it.. I might be ignoring it because it goes off all the time for little and/or no apparent reason. Like last night. Going round a long curve in a road. It fired off its bright red light on the windscreen and its warning bongs. No idea why. Later on, I was driving with a bit of urgency (only a bit) down one of Sydney’s tight and busy main roads - an Uber rider was in a hurry, and I was pretending to be rushing. Well the system found the heavy traffic and very tight lanes alarming. Fired off a few times there too. The system doesn’t seem particularly intelligent and I wonder if it’ll recognise actual hazards. Hopefully it will. Otherwise, it’s a pretty decent car actually. I’ve been pleasantly surprised.
Since I always watch your videos I have one burning questions? What is your real name and where is the original honest john? On a more positive note I must say your appearance on this you tube channel has revived your brand..cheerio(in Harry hills voice)
First ever use of the word 'conflate' in a car review, nearly lost to tech issues with the mic. Darn mics, they will always f you up, as Larkin didn't say...
God, marketing language. Do they think it makes their products appealing to anybody? Not so much the architects of perception, as the architects of waffle. Great review, Mark - which cuts through the crap. My objection to SUVs isn't so much the vehicles themselves, as the "lifestyle" marketing twaddle that goes with them. I think I'd save a few quid and buy a Jazz.
This may be good to drive but it looks so dull and as far as I have seen only driven by pensioners! When are you going to test the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross. Much more interesting looking and available with 4WD.
Always good for a laugh and balanced, informative review. You went a bit light on the temp controls and the infotainment screen. Utterly and absolutely horrid. Down right embarrassing and almost does a good job of negating everything that is so positive about this FH (Fatty Hatchback). I’ve watched this video multiple times and it doesn’t get old. PS In Canada, Honda sells a 4 wheel driven version. (Sorry).
Thanks Rich. Yes, the infotainment is terrible. It’s especially baffling when it’s such an easy fix - how hard can it be to have someone make a decent piece of software. Or just use Android? I should probably ask Honda... :-) M.
Hey. Technical issues this week mean the sound is a little quiet and slightly ropey in parts. Apologies. Mark x
It just made the car sound more refined ;-)

Mark. Is. Ace. 😀👍
Even on the smooth roads of Singapore, where these are used as Uber taxis the ride is very harsh. What’s with the new hand tattoo?.
There was a space on the back of my hand so I figured I’d fill it. :-) M.
