I've had mine 2.5 years. Have just shy of 5M meters. I row a lot, 6 days a week. I do a lot of long rows ~15K . The seat is fine, my butt never hurts and the handles are fine. I will tell you after a 90 min row and get off my butt never hurts but you will notice muscle fatigue when you stand up

I hit 988,000 meters on my Hydrow today. As you can imagine, I love my rowing machine.
BTW, I’m going to be 59 in August. I’ll gladly trade you for 49.

I hope and pray the reviews are accurate for quality, which I fully expect they will be. However, be aware/advised, as a recent cash purchaser that took advantage of the Black Friday sale, was disappointed to learn the day after and a few days after, they added over $300+ in extra equipment for the same purchase. This is great for those who procrastinated, but for me; customer service and sales should have made one aware. I guess I remember the old days of brick and mortar store integrity.
It squarely falls on me and I look forward to the workouts and use [and hopefully weight-loss and conditioning] and I hope it gives me years of good service as I am now concerned Customer Service is just a 'refusal' department...I'll update on the equipment but honestly believe it will be great! What's a few pieces of equipment anyway?
Hydrows customer service is the best out here in my opinion.
Drop them a line and explain your concern, I’m sure they’ll come up trumps!

UPDATE FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE: AWESOME!! They listened to my concerns and comments, and after reviewing they satisfied me on all aspects of my comments. Proving that they are Customer Oriented and a solid company! ALSO, I LOVE MY WAVE!! I would suggest only buying if you plan to use their coaches and programs..they are worth the money! Thanks!

Yes, just row added and that’s all you can use if you don’t have a subscription.
@@SteveJulien in that event it seems to me that for someone that doesn’t want to pay for a subscription the question would be how much the quietness and sleek aesthetics of this are worth. If a lot then this is viable. Otherwise I can’t see why that person wouldn’t get a C2. Of course if the putative purchaser can and would pay for the subscription then this obviously offers something the C2 doesn’t.
Hi Steve, knowing what you know now would you still choose the Hydrow? Anything broken or software glitch stuff happening?

Hi Steve.. I’m so undecided on whether to get a Hydrow or C2. Need some guidance if possible. I have been using a C2 at The Row House but I swear I have ended up with COVID x2 already from there. So I think the safest is to buy my own machine. Pls advice, thanks!

Thanks, Steve! I’m still undecided 🤣. But I feel Hydrow may be it. Currently paying $139/month for unlimited membership at The Row House. So if I do the math, I will have paid more for the membership but no rower at home. Thanks again.
Steve. Just found your channel today and am enjoying it. I see that you started out earlier using a Concept2 with the app. I was considering purchasing the WaterRower and using the app also. The advantage would be the ability to work out off line and pocketing the $20 a month. Now I see that you've swapped over. Are you pleased with your decision?

I’m loving the Hydrow, especially the quality of the machine. I’m really pleased with it.
The advantage of the other set up is that its cheaper and you can use other types such as Apple fitness and YT etc.
I’ll be sticking with the Hydrow tough as like Peloton, my DIY set up just lead me to ultimately buying a Peloton.
I'll have a comparison video coming out soon as still have the C2.
I currently have a water rower that is collecting dust since I bought the Peloton plus. I am kinda waiting for Peloton to offer rowing. Can I use the Hydro app only with my water rower? What would that be like? I'd like to try to keep my monthly subscription bills to a minimum (hence waiting) but you might persuade me...

Yes I’ve seen it, looks ALOT like a Hydrow.
What happened to your concept? I thought you weren’t going to go for the Hydrow because it meant another subscription! I have to confess I don’t blame you though - I have both the peloton bike and the Hydrow and love both equally 😀
I couldn’t resist in the end 😂! It’s very very good. I’ve still got the concept 2 so can make some comparison videos.

I heard you can't watch RUclips, Netflix or use spotify on this?
#1 that 100% of all Hydrow rowers will have their rower strap pan out (broken) and not retract without professional maintenance/repair before 1M meters…
Looking to get a peloton bike soon for my new home gym, do you think peloton will bring out a rowing machine,since I like the hydro but don’t want to pay two subscription charges
There’s talk that Peloton are brining out a rower. I’m not sure if or when it will happen though.
Think twice before you buy a Hydrow. The forced subscription ruins the experience. Can't row without internet. Won't store stats without subscription. I regret getting the Hydrow.
