- 2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio review by The Straight Pipes. The Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio is pumping out 505hp and 443 lb-ft tq from a Twin Turbo 2.9L V6. Sitting at $109,435 CAD, would this be your pick over the Mercedes-AMG C63S, BMW M3, Audi RS5?

Finally got a Giulia!! Told you guys this week would be hype. Wonder what Friday's video is 👀
Is it a Chevrolet Camaro zl1?
a car 😂
Ryan Lee probably
Nice !!!!
The blurred out car looks like a Camaro. I want you guys to get a Bentley or Ferrari to review.
you know it's an italian car when the grill is a slice of pizza
It lasts as long as a slice of pizza at a hungry table as well.
Edsel was ahead of his time
Damn now i cannot unsee it
Hahaha
That's a good one! Now I'm hungry!
That car just looks absolutely GORGEOUS
Agreed?
I bought one 3 years ago...best car I ever bought but Guys it's not Quadrofoglio....it's a Quadrifoglio
Quadro is a picture in Italian
Quadrifoglio is a four leaf clover
glad I could help..😁
4443 lb-ft torque, damn didn't know they put a tank engine in the MY2020
jakub bought himself a pre-ceramic rolex gmt master ii for 1m subs?
I miss the SKX!
Noticed the same thing.
Lol
Just noticed it, looks good!
he deserves it for all the shilling he's been doing for manufacturers
Camaro ZL1 coming up next vid :D
For those who push/pull steer, column mounted shifters are awesome
Just a point: none of the switchgear is from a “Dodge Charger” like you said, it’s all original Alfa Romeo (the entire interior is as well). There is no parts sharing for the interior.
Correct. That’s goes the entire car. Not a single Chrysler component.
2021 Auid Rs5 SportBack has entered the chat 😈😈
From Seiko SKX007 to Pepsi GMT heeeh? I love it
1M gift to myself ❤️
The real hood vents on the Giulia are what should have been on the Kia Stinger. Missed opportunity on Kia's part.
Just make sure to buy 3.
2 to keep in the shop and 1 to drive.
I was all excited to buy a Stelvio Quad ..... until I read about the horrible reliabilty, and then started looking at CarFax reports of used for sale and sure enough every other one for sale spent every other month in the shop for "coolant problem" and "electrical problem" and back for another "coolant problem"
Reliability surveys beg to disagree.
@@irodrigo The Stelvio has good reliability reviews. The Stelvio Quad, has awful reliability reviews
The answer is always C63S wagon.
"the stelvio sounds better"
Me:it's exactly the same it's literally a Giulia but a bit higher and heavier
It sounds the exact same
Really enjoy these videos guys! When are you joining us for an Autobahn blast?! 😎🤘
As soon as it's safe to fly to Germany again! ❤️
And when we will see some Alfa 159 on your channel ?
amazing if you guys collab
Autotopnl and straight pipes collab is 🔥🔥🔥🔥
@@TheStraightPipes It is very safe now! Practically little to no new infections per 1000 tests!
It's crazy how much of a difference a million subscribers makes not only are they getting cool cars but also John Cena?!?!
Did you see him??? Did we do a collab with him and we totally missed it??
Straight up flexin, going from a Seiko SKX to a Rolex gmt master pepsi 😂
Randall Janssens just was about to say the same! But, is it really a pre-ceramic one?

Will be the same for celebrities soon with all the deep fake technology.
I found ones in Mercedes cla 200 as company fitted fake 😑
Underrated comment

They're real and they're spectacular
I love my Quadrifoglio, it’s the most fun sedan on the road. Forza Alfa!
Is it a 2020?
Davvero bellissima è una macchina stupenda vista davanti e da dietro davvero bella
Antonino Pellegrino ciao

and the most ugly expensive sedan on the road
You really tried to hide that Camaro from us 😂
What trim though? 👀
OMG i think so too like the chevy camaro has such distinct head leads/front end
Ryan Oliver It’s a Zl1
ikr!
What are you guys on about! That's clearly a d*ck
Newer Giulia’s are quieter because of the petrol particulate filter, the Stelvio you drove didn’t have one yet hence it was louder
Beat me to it. (Points upwards) Yep, expect cars to get a lot quieter also as restrictions in the EU get tighter every year.
There's no particulate filter and noise control in north america. That's strictly an EU regulation.
@@nicktune1219 Well then thats quite odd, you'd expect the sedan to be louder than the stelvio
from the inside it sounds less because it is more soundproofed, by the update. And the akrapovic exhaust is available as an option
Henceforth!
I gotta give it to Alfa Romeo for keeping the design legitimate with no bs fake vents and exhaust 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
it's ugly

Ditto. :) I even will buy a video game just because it has it I love this car so much.
Anything you don’t like about it? I don’t want to have any qualms or ill feelings if I get one!
i yeah I done like listening to people complain about every little thing they done like about it. Mine is about perfect.
Nope, no real complaints. I'd say the brakes take getting used to, I always disable start/stop because it can be jerky from a light with a motor that powerful, and take the time to truly learn all the settings in the infotainment system. So many people misunderstand it that they think it's weird, or bad in some way when they just didn't change a simple setting.
Beyond that, my 2018 Giulia Quadrifoglio has been nothing short of amazing and I go out of my way to make excuses to go places just to drive it more.
@@yabo1 I also own a 2018 Giulia. 64k and nothing has gone wrong, which I was never concered about. Most of the worries people have come from rival marketing

I love this car !!!!! The steering is crazy !!! Very well balanced ! Good looking! Not such any bad things to say about it
Reliability. For the 4-cyl atleast
No matter how many reviewers review this, I will always watch it for this beautiful car
Wow, you edited Chevy Camaro so well. It was impossible to know which car it was.
The Giulia is that girl in the college who everyone say she's beautiful and sweet but only a few knows how she's under the blankets...
@@cn2673 - he's trying to say this car will be in the shop the majority of the time.
@@jeffs6090 So he is perpetrating antiquated info from the late 80's and early 90's
@@rv2167 You have her confused with another two girls called Audi and BMW.
@@paulj9821 Well, let's see Car and Driver had a 2018 and said it had "unforgivable reliability issues" that broke their heart. In this the nightmare year 2020 Consumer Reports says it has only a 13% chance of not requiring any repairs in 3 years. And in 2017 Jalopnik put out an article poking fun at the car guys who whine that Alfa Romeo's are plenty reliable cause they once drove one without an incident, while linking to numerous examples showing otherwise. What else did a simple Google search find? Sunday Times, Pistonheads, Motor Trend, and Road&Track all "perpetrating" the myth within the past 4 years of Alfa Romeo unreliability.
@@ericl1166 I personally don't own a QV, BUT i worked with an engineer who bought one of the first 3 that were available in my Midwest city. His was ALWAYS in the service center. He had the differential replaced, a recurring fuel pump issue, and several electrical gremlins. When it actually ran properly it was absolutely badass. Incredibly quick from a roll (I witnessed some serious mustang/camaro trolling in this car). However, he traded it after only a year of ownership because it spent almost half of that year in the shop, or waiting at the dealership for an "approved" Alfa technician. So in my anecdotal experience, yes, alfa totally still lives up to its unreliable moniker.
It truly sucks that sedans aren’t hot and it’s all *muh crossover* these days.
Because conventional body of a sedan is not practical... especially the rear, a zero trade-off when it comes to hatchback or wagon
PREACH!
I fully agree...
Fast wagon ftw
Every man and their dog buys SUVs, but they will behave badly in an accident and are easier to lose control of - higher centre of gravity and extra weight.
I'm waiting for this Camaro.
Edit: or maybe they've shown a Camaro, but they will be testing something else?
You can actually get an Acrapovic exhaust from factory on the 2020 model
Yeah but not stock
@@TheStraightPipes apparently the reason that it was quieter was because there's some sort of filter that reduces how loud the exhaust is. It's new for the 2020 Giulia and Stelvio. So yeah I think I know why you liked the louder exhaust on the Stelvio. But if the Giulia you guys reviewed was from the years before, it would probably shatter glass from a kilometer away lol. But great job guys, can't wait for the Camaro and C63s.👍
Hassan Abanur yea made standard for all cars made in Europe even Ferrari and Lamborghini.
Exhaust made in Slovenia changes everything
But it’s only cat back, which doesn’t fix the issue with the OE Exhaust and over priced. Much better to upgrade the cats to sport cats/200 cell and delete the centre pipe resonator with a x-pipe.
Just bought a regular Guilia a week ago. Absolutely in love with it.
Can’t imagine what kind of trouble I would get in with a QF
really considering one, congrats!
Congrats! I got mine in April.. what machines. But yeah I agree if I had a QF on my ride today I would’ve gotten in some serious shit hahaha
Lots. My QV (which is Alfa's acronym for "Quadrifoglio Verde", btw) is stupid fast. Like, if you're not looking at the dash, enough, it's quite easy to go from 0-jail speeds before you realize you're over the speed limit. The sense of speed is so nonexistent in that car because the suspension is so tight and there's so much power that it gets to illegality without any effort at all. I've had it since April and I'm AMAZED I haven't been pulled over yet.
@@yabo1 I've had my Guilia for a little over a month now, and I've gotten two speeding tickets already. Something about how this car builds up speed. It isn't ridiculously fast (note: still very fast) off the line but after 10 mph+ it starts building speed violently. I love it, but I got pulled over twice and now have to be a lot more careful :(
Emperor Mouse I don’t think you can handle the power.... be carful dude
My dad has this car and whenever I get into it, I ask him to put it into Race mode. (Unless it’s raining or snowing)

The main reason this car has no launch control and no line lock is because this is a dricers car , not a techno geek trying to use its computer to make it into an american racer (drag racer) also , most of Italy and the surrounding countries have lots of hills and mountains , where there are lots of undulating twisties to play with . Launch control is for idiots who dont know how to drive , launch controlists per say dont know how to modulate throttle imputs to the clutch or torque converter , would proberably bog down a manual or lose traction totally . Show me a roadgoing motorcycle that is automatic with line lock and launch control with an anti wheelie device , there is not one and never will be one , most modern cars are designed to help you not know how to drive . Alfa , like most Italian offerings are different , they are made to teach you how to drive and enjoy it too.
Let's get one thing straight. Fiat bought Chrysler, it is not the other way around.
Never ever call Alfas, Maseratis or even Fiats a Chrysler!
Itz_Warplqne Fiat saved Chrysler and now run it very well. For these two guys to suggest that an Alfa has the same DNA as a Chrysler is highly insulting and also total nonsense.
Yea it’s dumb Alfa Romeo has more in common with Ferrari than Chrysler
@Hrt Daniel I was responding to Eric lol yea but I agree about true old one
That Maserati Ghibli has Chrysler parts inside its interior so that one is very much a Chrysler
Does that make the dodge challenger an Italian sports csr
The car's a masterpiece.
I think this car is far better looking than its competitors. I would worry about a few things though. Dealer network for service and warranty claims, reliability, and resale value. I’d want to do a lot of homework before buying one, but the exterior looks alone go a long way for me.
The exhaust sounds quieter from inside the cabin because they have updated all the glass on 2020 models for better insulation.
Giulia GV is by far the best car I’ve ever owned. 4 door Ferrari is an understatement
Wish Maserati could be like that
