      The idea is that climbing is doing things by yourself, simply because if you rely on your teamates’ ressources only then you will always have 50-50 chance to have a better team.
      The difference maker needs to be you because you are the only player that is in every game you play.

It's a very high possibility that something you could've done differently would've prevented what caused your teammate to lose the match.

      That's because he is already in that rank. Unranked to Gm is smurfing at it's essence and he makes money off it. On top of that people congratulate and compliment this. If anyone wants to give educational Echo tips they can make a video about tips for echo in their own rank. Showing how good he can do in a gold - diamond lobby doesn't mean anything, you don't have to smurf to make an educational video man.

    To those that want to go beyond the fundamentals: cancelling Echo's flight to gain momentum and fly higher gives you a lot of room to play with on the majority of the maps. However double pressing shift (or whatever your key binding is) has a forced delay on the side of the game to prevent hardware error. You'll probably want to change your settings on Echo for "Hold to use flight" to be enabled. This way you can simply tap you flight key and space and fly on skybox forever. Been doing this since forever (since the bugged flight speed that allowed you to go from your spawn to the enemy's in 5 seconds on Nepal) and it's kinda nutty how much it enables this character.

      I've tested this and if you have good timing there's no difference between hold or toggle. It's just more convenient but for me personally I hate having to hold an extra button to fly.

    • @bleachinmyeyespls
      @bleachinmyeyespls 3 месяца назад

      @finesseandstyle Yeah no that is the issue tho.
      Having to practice your timing or focus on it is a detriment to your gameplay. A moment of hesitation, or mistake and your dead.
      Hold to fly is objectively better, if you prefer toggle thats fine but your misleading new echo players by saying that.
      Its better you get used to hold and leave it at that.
      Not only can you easily tap fly and launch yoursef, but now you also have 100% control over how much you fly.
      With toggle you have to pay attention to when you need to stop flying and press the button again.
      With hold you can just hold it, forget about it and you will naturally let go when you feel its necessary. Its just much more stream line and natural.
      Like imagine driving a car, would you rather press the break then let it go and press it again to stop breaking? Hell no you wouldnt as now it introduces a whole new level of reaction that is completely unecesary, you have to be much more focussed rather than just being able to control it more naturally as you like.

If I'd ever paid for any subscriptions to the old coaching websites I probably would've regretted it immediately after I found your channel. I just found this guys videos recently. This guy doesn’t need to do unranked to GM anymore. Such an oppressive smurf and I feel bad for the 5 on the other team. I haven’t even seen him play with top 500 tbh lol

    Awkward has helped me so much in Overwatch, improved my understanding of the game, the characters & how to play. But what I like about him most is...if he messes up or makes a mistake, it’s not someone else’s fault it’s his own and he admits it. Being able to admit your own mistakes is a very admirable trait. You are accountable for your own failings. Own up to them, learn from them and improve. A great lesson not just for Overwatch but in life as well.

    That almost diamond positioning from the Ana at 1:00:59 is actually what gives me more motivation that i should be able to climb. I was legit a couple months ago as a brand new gold player got put into a plat a high plat 2 game and i got stomp rolled. But if there are high plats that play like that ana. Man this should not be hard if you apply yourself. I believe that now.
