@@lonestarlows if you and you’re buddy had to replicate this particular chassis again how much would it take? 25k? What’s your take on “art Morrison chassis”
Great video brother. You have to be planning waaayyy ahead. I learned that the hard way lol. This is my 1st build though. I'm learning a lot from your channel. Thanks for sharing the info.
The welding dictates the length of grind time... cleaner uniform welds means less time grimding. If it takes 2 weeks to mold this, something wasnt to par, whether it be a skill issue, or a tool issue. Definitely looks killer, not saying this as hate, or to take anything away, because it looks incredible
Man this is a great build. Showing absolutely everything. Not hiding a damn thing. A whole lot of before thought went into it. Glad to see the shock mounts going to good use. I should send you the machine over there full time and send you ready made files to cut.
Dave Pelaez thanks man, the exhaust hangers come with the flowmaster pipe kit, I drilled and tapped the frame and bolted on those hangers, worked great, I’ll look for the part number.
Thanks for posting these videos. It's helping the low rider community to reach our goals. One question I have. Can you still 3 wheel with the rear shocks? I like the idea of extending the mounts. Does the car ride better with the rear shocks? Silly question but I have to ask.
Hey, not sure why I missed this one, great vid. Need a little help, im running bags on my 64, and like everyone else, im trying to get the most lock up and get as low as possible. Would what you did be good for me too? I only want 2-3 more inches.
@@lonestarlows I have a y-bone, what id like to do is just get a little higher lock up, my shocks are limiting me, I thought maybe if I get longer shocks and relocate top mounts I'd be able to so. Do you know what the total travel is on Redrocket?
Is there a specific reason why you went with a y-bone as compared to a wishbone??? Also when you got the motor and trans did you do anything to it before mounting it or did it have low miles and just put it in place???
Ben Alanis wishbone is typically used for longer trailing arms/high lockup’s and massive 3 wheels which looks good but I’m personally not into that. The Pitbull y bone is proven and can achieve standing 3 wheel on both sides with good height and super is easy install.
John Bro did you tear down the motor and trans??? Im sure it had low miles but im looking at a LS2 with either a 4l60-4l80??? I figured id at least rebuild trans and look for a motor with under 90k
Ben Alanis it had super low miles when I got it, around 3k, ls2 is a monster, great engine, 4l60 fits with no modifications to tunnel, but is not as durable as a 4l80, as you may have seen in the videos, the tunnel will need some work with the 4l80/6l80
@@lonestarlows i suppose not so much if it’s for yourself. But even then I don’t see how it took that long. And definitely wouldn’t be able to take that kind of time for my customers. Either way, looks really good brotha 👏🏼
@Lowridersdoggs true, folks work day jobs and life happens. Not to mention paying for everything. Pretty sure the rolling chassis in this video was upwards of 30 grand. It was a 2017 engine in 2018...
This is the best frame of all RUclips. I’m sitting here watching taking notes. I gotta get my frame clean like yours
It was a work of art for sure

I've never seen one in person, I don't know what they cost..
I'm thinking closer to 30....
Lt with trans pull out, pulley kit.
Ford 9
Chrome
Wheels
Molding of frame etc....might be more than 30
This is a work of art!! Excellent job bro.
That’s one sweet looking frame with that LT motor
It was a very nice chassis
Labor of love , nice job bud , really great looking frame
This is amazing. Great work!!
Absolutely spotless 💯

Thanks I'm building my 62 that upper arm hittin the frame setting me back now..

Great info
Thanks
What brake kit are you running for the disks to fit the 13x7’s? Looks like just up front?
Its a g body brake kit. The back used to be drums but was upgraded to disc kit for Ford 9
@@lonestarlows what parts of a g body did you use?

do you have a list of places that wrapped and mold frames I'm in DFW area
No i dont sorry
Beautiful work!! Does anybody know the builder? Or his info. I need work on mine.
A prefectionist
Chasing it
I wish I could have that kinda patience while building a car. I salute you
Do you all sell the rear extended shock mounts as a kit?
No they were kind of a one off deal messing around with a cnc
Dope 🔥🔥
Nice frame, what size are the rear shocks??
Where do you get them at??
That's a rolling work of art! Where did you buy the bolt on exhaust hangers?
Dave Pelaez thanks man, the exhaust hangers come with the flowmaster pipe kit, I drilled and tapped the frame and bolted on those hangers, worked great, I’ll look for the part number.
Dave Pelaez part number, Flowmaster 817413
Thank you, that four will be breaking necks once it's done!

Yes still 3 wheels, the shocks do improve the ride, but its not going to ride like a stock suspension car.
These are bad azz! Does anybody make these or do you sell any?
We made them long time ago. Just 2 pairs though.
Ok, is that 1/2 steel where the shocks connect? Can I use the existing mounts or just cut them off and start fresh?
@lonestar lows what headers are those?
Forgot the name. Same ones I have on my motor. There is a playlist. 1960

Price wise...rough estimate on wrapping a 63 convertible frame?
Wouldn't wrap a cv frame. Do a hardtop. I dont do that type of work. But expect to spend about 3000 not.molded

John Bro oneog the reasons i was gonna go with 4l60. Any ideas if using either trans would i need any mods to firewall???
Ben Alanis no work needed on firewall for either trans
Is that super chrome powder coated ?
Its chrome plated.
What did u use to paint the engine
I think he used some high temp rattle can
excuse my ignorance,
What do you mean by "molding"the frame. Don't you mean "wrapped"?
Molding means making it seamless. Grinding down all the welds
Where can i buy a fully wrapped frame and have it shipped to Indiana!
I dont know about shipping but the only person I'd buy a wrapped frame from is Brent at pitbull
@@lonestarlows i dont think hes wrapping frames anymore!
Last I checked he was.
Just messaged him on Facebook messenger, i guess hes too busy for frame orders, only doing rear ends and wishbones!
Yeah. I'm sure it's much less work and takes up way less space
Very nice but i dont think that 6l80 trans is not gonna fit under the stock tunnel
Took a little trim but not much actually
Will a 4l60e fit with no mods
Should. It's same asa 700r4
