    • How to Make a Concrete...
    Dear Wanderer!
    Fell a warm welcome (back) here. This time I will take you on a journey how i make a forest bonsai out of Cedar of Lebanon / Cedrus libani.
    I will try to share my 7 years experience growing bonsai from seed, and how to take care of them, even what you can achieve with your newborn trees.
    Quick guide on Cedar Trees as Bonsai:
    Placement:
    The cedar needs a position in full sun for healthy growth. In wintertime, protect the tree from freezing temperatures and cold wind. Young plants are especially delicate and need extra protection.
    Watering:
    During the growing season water daily if necessary, but let the soil get dry before watering. Be careful not to overwater the cedar, as it grows in quite dry conditions in its native regions and can suffer from root rot if it is watered too much. Especially in winter it is important that the rootball does not stay too wet because this would increase the risk of frost damage to the roots.
    If you will have any questions please do not hesitate to share with me, will try to help you with my best knowledge.
    Please bare in mind, that these videos are fully just for entertain you all! I am pretty sure that there is a lot more informed and educated people out there who would know much more than me about this subject ;)
    Kind regards
    Attila Csintalan

    • @FangornBonsai
      @FangornBonsai  5 месяцев назад +2

      Thanks a lot 😊Usually I have the basic idea of the basic form of the pot/slab and after I let the wire dictate my hands, the final product creates its own during the process. Wish i could have described it better, but really that is happening! Thanks for the comment!

    How much does the slab weigh? It looks great but I'm afraid I would hurt myself trying to move it.

    • @FangornBonsai
      @FangornBonsai  6 месяцев назад +1

      Hey 😊 Thanks. I would say 4-5 kg, but you always can make it smaller. Although bigger trees weight more than this forest 😊 But def a smaller composition would work for you than, or ask for hand if possible when it needs to be moved 😊

      Heyy, just cement and water mix, the ratio is really like till you can work with the concrete not too thick not too thin.
