Would be very interesting if Jack returned to Pleasance House after killing Edgar Ross and was able to make it a home for himself so he’d never be found by the Law for killing Ross. And in a way gain a new “ranch” for himself to look after, escaping his criminal past. And eventually covertly buying some cows, horses, and chickens and turning the property and surrounding land into a real ranch of his own. Maybe even finding water under the land too for irrigation and starting a small farm. Finally achieving the peaceful dream life that John and Abigail wanted for him and for them. That would be a great closure and ending for Jack in my opinion. That’s my personal unofficial head-canon for me.
Thanks again for the help moving my fridge freezer fizhy mate appreciate it and remember honestly it was a bit of a mess up with the old steel mill Roadhouse
1:53 "Betcha he don't even know how much water's runnin' underneath his propertah" - dude is channeling Eric Cartman (or maybe it's Cartman channeling an old southern accent lol)
Please make a video about the mission “Remember My Family” aka the mission where Jack kills Edgar Ross! Even though I’ve been playing red dead for years I’d still love to see an in-depth explanation video detailing everything and connecting the dots and I think that would be perfect coming from you since the only videos that show up when you look up the mission are Let’s-Plays from years ago.
I got this in 2010 when I was 10. I had Revolver when it came out too. My dad was really cool. Easily my favorite video game series ever. Especially Revolver and RDR. II is amazing but RDR has a much more serious and gritty atmosphere.
I can't wait for u to start doing missions like this on mass effect. There are a good few hundred video u could make regarding the lore, the side missions, etc
@@xpr3ss.755 if you steal the deed then he will notice blood on it and be upset you killed him, I think that you get like $25. But if you buy the deed then he with say "it was good of you to put your own money up for the deed" and will pay you back all of the money you spent plus $50. So you profit twice as much for buying the deed.
@@TheBasedTyrant hmm interesting. Im playing rdr emulation right now and i stumbled upon this mission and then researched it. At first i wanted to kill the old man since i didnt even have $100 but then i saw your comment
Its been YEARS since I played this game, What i dont like about this side mission is why would John give his own money for someone else. Guy never gave John the money. I always chose to kill the home owner
@Chandler Burse Okay probably didnt pay attention too much, I commented before the video was halfway and i saw that he does give John or Jack money back. You are right
I did this mission a few weeks ago when I did it Mr Evans was attacked by a coyote and I helped him killed the coyote he lived and ran away but apparently the deed was all bloody like WTF 🤣
@Chandler Burse I'm no justice warrior or anything and I know the Human Race is often referred as Mankind and given the time zone of RDR1, that kinda talk wouldn't be as cringe but nowadays when equality stuff is rammed down our throats, I guess I've unfortunately gotten used to it that it does make me kinda cringe because Red Dead 1 & 2 contains men, women, kids and animals that Jack and everyone around him live among. So for me, I think saying "People" is better.
@@applesandgrapesfordinner4626 Please don't get me wrong. I got nothing wrong with "Men." I mean, I am one. Just seemed strange that Jack couldn't say "We live among people." Let’s be honest. This was nearly everyone’s first stranger mission
For those that played RDR1 first, definitely
yep. damn i miss that game. havent played it in years

Sounds like a calm enough time.

Just wanna say that I absolutely love these videos man, I never delved too deep into RDR1 so this is very nice!
The alternate version of rdr2 where Hosea leaves the gang after the Saint Denis heists and moves to new Austin to live in isolation
Bro that's what I'm saying. That old guy acts and sounds alot like Hosea!
Before even watching this, I know somebody is going to die in this mission

Nobody needs to die

It's actually a bit sadder when you do this as Jack when he says he wants to move in with his family knowing he doesn't have a family anymore 😔
I love seeing more rdr not many people make good lore videos for it. Keep up the great work sir.
Honestly, I'm surprised you had an option to have 0 deaths in this mission.
That old man’s voice actor sounds a lot like Hosea

"Now you can't rob the place!"
Jokes on you, I already robbed the place after the first mission I did with the sheriff.
The quality of this guys uploads are unbeatable.
Did you start this as John and finish as Jack?
I've been really liking the way how you been telling it these stories pretty damn cool nice work keep doing what you doing.

I love that you’re making videos about the first game
I went to this house in red dead redemption 2 and for some reason I could sleep there.
You can sleep in most beds. Try the rio del lobo house.
I’m surprised you haven’t made a video on this before since it’s one of the first encounters you see
Pleasance House also plays a part in the first mission you do for Marshal Johnson, as a hideout for the bandits you have a gunfight with.

Huh I didn't know about the duel or getting another safehouse
I’m honestly surprised he hasn’t done The “Funny Man” stranger yet at Benedict Point
I guess it took you 15 years to get to his porch.
Fun fact, the old man at pleasance plays Hosea in RDR2
Very useful after the recent PS4 and Switch release

Why RDR2 doesn't has the same modding scene as GTA V? Has any breakthrough achieved in modding the game?
I didn’t kill Clyde I paid him the $200, didn’t even knock him on my horse, yet the next cutscene said that I had killed him
Lol Hossea was a crabby old man.

I had absolutely no idea that Pleasence House could become a safe house. I am literally loss for words about how I missed this for so long.
Strange you didn't find out. It becomes a safehouse after 1st obtaining the deed, so it should show a marker on the map.
This is the first time he used blue writing in the thumbnail instead of white and red.
