It's near that location, but not exactly. Have you found the abandon trading post near there? Or the over hanging snow / rock shed? If so then ride along track- from trading post. Ride through over hanging shed till you come to a tunnel near the border. Ride through tunnel and tie you horse to the nearest tree on the right( so horse don't get killed by train) run back through tunnel. Walk out the entrance , stop at 1st tree you see on left. I don't think Fizhy understood (being that he's from the UK) that the General Harris character was taken from General Lee, and more specifically his failure at the Battle of Gettysburg. He sent his men into a straight charge when he knew that he was outnumered and outmaneuvered, but because of his West Point, 'marble-model' record...he wanted to appear brave. And history tells us the rest.
Interesting, perhaps a reference to Pickett's charge. I personally thought it was a broader reference to the strategies of Ulysses S. Grant (though a Union General, and not Confederate as Lemoyne is said to have been) and Lincoln. Lincoln continually ordered his Generals to use their vastly superior man and industrial power to just send huge numbers of men into the slaughter zone of battles and just overwhelm the Confederate armies. Lincoln fired 6 generals in the first 2 years of the war because each one valued the lives of their men and refused. Finally, Lincoln found Grant who was willing to endure casualty rates that were double the Confederate's, but much less costly because the Union outnumbered the CSA armies 6 to 1. Kinda betrays that Lincoln was not so much the man of the people history has portrayed him as.

Actually, the serpent mound is a reference to Native American burial mounds! Really cool if you look into them, because there are dead people inside them; they also were studied by thomas jefferson, father of american anthropology. And because americans back then believed that indians were too uncivilized to make something like that, they believed that the indians murdered an entire race of those moundbuilders! Sorry for the rant, just think it's cool coming from an archeological anthropologist.
thanks for the spoiler warning, i played this game when it first released forgot a lot of the things that happened as i kinda speedran the game. This play through i’m taking me time ❤

Fun content, great work. Good job man keep it up. Additionally you have the perfect voice for this sort of story/uncovering mystery style of content. 5 stars brotha.
An addon with map markers for all these secrets would be really cool. Also, it's these little details that separates Rockstar from other devs. It gives their world personality, rather than being full of useless collectibles, towers, and other nonsense like other open world games. Ubi should take notes.
Fun fact about the statue in Saint Denis, its suppose to be an ode to the Former General Jackson statue that was in New Orleans Jackson Square. Between 2007 and 2016 i was in New Orleans once a month at LEAST Every Month, and I think there was about only 2 trips that i made to NOLA that they weren't cleaning Paint off of that Statue.
Skeletal remains- "Found the remains of this fella in the rocks". Cool little detail that ain't so little. Has anyone studied it and did some measurements? @@matt_queso I thought the same, but it is a side quest to get the map. Like the trophy system on PS4/5. I've gotten very common or plain trophies for not doing anything spectacular or whatever, only to see that .03% of players have earned during the story mode.

I've played through the story 5 times and i just now found the face in the rock. I knew it existed, but I didn't know where it was and I wanted to find it myself. This game is such a masterpiece.
Most of these are all points of interest. Controller vibrates briefly when you are close to the point of interest. When you are close enough you will be prompted to inspect and Arthur or John will draw it in journal. The voices on the other hand are not a point of interest neither is the Hurst wagon, or dude dead in the camp. The last one shows up as an X on map ( corpse) when you are in range of the area of location.
I've played this game since its release day and only ever seen one of these! Insane how much detail is in this game that even after playing/roaming the red dead world for years there's new content !

Found a secret interaction you might like. I noted down the fossilized remains from chapter 2 of your video, then instantly set up camp, it took me a little south (night time) where a woman asked if she could warm herself by the fire, I accepted and she told me she was from Butcher's Creek but got turned around, she talked about the goings on there a little. She was feral looking, and after a short conversation said she didn't like the look of Arthur and ran away.

I just noticed for the first time when you go to the gallery to see Charles Chateny the pictures you help the other guy take is on the walls. There's even one of Arthur! Thought that was pretty cool
I noticed on a recent play-through. The cabin by moonstone pond, the one that the tree crashed down on, put your back to it and face moonstone pond, look up and you can see the sculpture in the mountain. I believe a great game is a game that keeps on staying relevent, by not revealing all it's discoveries in the 1st play through. Sure there are games with fantastic game play and story, online ect. But that it. This game keeps on giving. Leading me an you on new adventures and discoveries. Keeping the name on everyones lips. A rare master piece!!!.
I played this game for 100s of hours and just found register rock. I saw someone writing on it and checked it out. I had passed it 100+ times
8:17 i knew i heard voices i though i was losing my mind, i was over there looking fo this cougar or something for the master hunter challenges and i was already scared since it was storming but then i started hearing stuff
charles chatenay is bloody hilarious, he claims he’s an innocent man who is really believable in his art. when all he does is seduce married women. another funny thing is if you keep the sketch he gave you, he says it’ll be worth something huge someday. im pretty sure it goes up by 20 cents 😭
It would be hilarious if it went up by 69c 😅
Not a "spoiler" at all, in my honest opinion. I've played through, and your channel is leading me to more adventures in the game, many thanks.
One I just found that I haven't seen anyone say was a "finishing move" only available while in 1st person with the dynamite arrow, where Arthur kicks the person on the ground and shoots them in the head with an arrow only it doesn't explode on contact like usual. This time the fuse will burn down a few seconds and give u a chance to get away
You can also sit on the plank outside the boat with the gramophone. It’s a nice little moment.
Thank you for making Red Dead videos, and thank you for informing people more about this game
Oh boi here I go downloading RDR2 again!
Same
Why would you ever uninstall it
@@7stiano123 Skyrim
I think you mean... Oh BOAH!
happy 4th bday to red dead
thank you fizhy for finding all of these small details that i still don't know about after all this time
First video like this that actually gave me a detail in this game that I didn't know about. I'd never seen the hearse before
Actually, the serpent mound is a reference to Native American burial mounds!
This play through i’m taking me time ❤
After all these years I always think "Eh, by now I should know all the secrets", just for a video like this to prove me wrong. This game, man. This. Game.
Fun content, great work. Good job man keep it up. Additionally you have the perfect voice for this sort of story/uncovering mystery style of content. 5 stars brotha.
I think if you save your game at the face in the cliff and reload, it will be blown away.
A good easter egg to include that not many know about is the 'Zombie Well' at Bear Claw in Tall Trees
It’s just a lighting glitch
@@maaingan No it's very much intentional as your honor changes how you look there.
Great videos man. Nice delivery and actually informative 👏
I'm kinda assuming Arthur is around 6 feet + or so. This skeleton has it's knees arched a bit, and if extended fully this "fella" is 8 to 9 feet tall. It's a giant!
Great video Fizhy!
> Haven’t played RDR2 in a year
> See a video that sparks my interest in the game back up
> Install
> Play for couple months
> Uninstall
> Repeat
Idk if this covered or well known but you can dance with Mary Beth after rescuing Sean at camp party
And at another camp I think chapter 4 you can dance with karen
Several play throughs and I watched MANY secrets, walk through, etc videos, and I NEVER saw the serpent mound till now!
Its part of a treasure hunt, IDK how anyone has missed it tbh.
@@matt_queso I thought the same, but it is a side quest to get the map. Like the trophy system on PS4/5. I've gotten very common or plain trophies for not doing anything spectacular or whatever, only to see that .03% of players have earned during the story mode.
love your videos! I have a couple of hundred hours on the game and you actually showed me something in this list that I didn't know about. #7 bolger glade ghosts. so thank you for continuing to do these lists.
I've played through the story 5 times and i just now found the face in the rock. I knew it existed, but I didn't know where it was and I wanted to find it myself. This game is such a masterpiece.
been playing this game religiously since it came out. and a good 7 of these I never heard of...
Insane how much detail is in this game that even after playing/roaming the red dead world for years there's new content !
u always show the things that i've never seen before. so cool
Most, if not all of these are included in the Piggyback strategy guide.
There's something relaxing about hearing a British guy talk about fictionalized American history.
coooool... 😁
Content lately has been top notch, ya love to see it!
I found the serpent when doing one of the treasure maps, I currently have gotten landmark of riches, poisonous trail, and high stakes treasures. Good video
At Bolger Glade I got some writing in my journal after killing a large group of bounty hunters there. Don't remember what it said exactly but it was depressing as hell
Great information. There were two of these I was unaware of, and I've played this game ×2 to completion.
My dude is back !!! ❤ and I can’t believe you always have to say “not to offend anyone “ people are so soft Jesus and we love all the Red dead ! Keep at it you have plenty of variety
It is my theory that the cabin once belonged to the sculptor. It’s not a very far walk or ride from the cabin to the scaffold .
Rodolfo and Brother Blanco is a secret message from Dan to Sam asking him to stay at rockstar… pretty amazing
You could make 100 videos on just RDR2 and I'd keep watching.
The phonograph is spooky when you realize that it's not like it repeats...it has to be reset when the record is done, so if it's still playing with no one around, and keeps playing and playing...
12:44 Alot of people think this is Sam Houser essentially telling Dan Houser to not leave Rockstar. Interesting story behind it suggest looking into it if anyone's interested
7:45 I didnt know about number 7... its so cool.
I thought these would be never before seen, but I guess I've surpassed these videos
Has anyone seen the dog digging in the cemetery in Saint Denis? Maybe a reference to Greyfriars Bobby a Scottish legend. Try around midnight start from the gates and walk all the way to the back wall then turn right
Nearby the secret number 8 i've found also a dead bison and even a rotten corpse with a bite mark on their neck. Not sure if they are related to the secret but they are interesting finds to say the least
The lean-to type cover over the tracks is called a Kenneth! I only remember that because I worked with a Kenneth when I learned it!
0:07 The way you said “the series” turned my “hey Siri” on and scarred the fuck out of me
The structure across the tracks in #2 looks like an avalanche shed or snow shed. They are made to protect the rail road tracks from avalanches. These days the are often made of concrete.
The Battle of Scarlett Meadows sounds like a reference to the Antietam Battlefield with yelling at night.
i think the owner of the boat in no 5 was killed by the nightfolk. I saw 2 nightfolk carrying a body as i was discovering the boat, might just be a coincidence tho, i put explosive rounds in their heads anyway.
On my 3rd playthrough and haven’t seen the mt Rushmore sculpture in the rock yet…thank you
