Hope everybody enjoys me experimenting with a differing format! I want to branch out a bit, explore some secrets in other games both in isolated videos & lists such as this. Consider this video a proof of concept for the latter, I've already done a Mass Effect video in this style. Hopefully you all like it.

Have u ever ran into the naked wolf man
@@dallasharlem1385 Many times. In fact, I ran into him whilst making this video but decided to save his story for a different time.
@@Fizhy I been trying to catch him so I can Hogg tie and let em loose in town
I love RDR 2 I have played a lot and didn't know many of these
Hey just curious with the Viking spot . If you shoot on of the skulls on the shelf there is a viking comb you can take and keep
The fact that there are people who have 2000 hours on this game and are still finding new things is groundbreaking. This is more than just a videogame.
I just seen one of your comments on a video called "Hank Schrader don't need autotune"
3500+
kill me...
I am the one who knocks.
Fr it's shocking that Easter eggs are still being found nearly 4 years after release and some have what seems to be their own story as well
But it is.
I absolutely hate the fact that these became just some normal locations for me that I thought most people would know about. I miss exploring the game and finding these for the first time. I don't think any other game will make me feel the same way.
GTA 6 prob will
@@lp7653 that's what I'm thinking, guess we'll see. I'll probably 100% it too
There’s always RDR3 in like 10 years. Lol
@@mitchellmaytorena1137 lol you right
So try not to watch too many "secrets" videos. However i can't stop myself from doing so lol
The ghost train has to be one of the coolest secrets I've seen in a game. As many issues I have with Rockstar's games and how they do business, they have mastered subtle story telling which is a dying art. When most movies and media are dumbed down and in your face Rockstar still continues to drop 100's of cool little stories and secrets in their games and feels no need to draw attention to them or overexplain. I wish more writers followed their lead, not everything needs a deep explanation or even an explanation at all, often the lack of an explanation leads to more intrigue just like with that ghost train. I am fascinated at what the teams idea behind it was.
The Ghost Train is the only one out of these that I had absolutely no clue about, well until now that is.
Wtf u talking bout only rdr had some subtle story telling look at gta5 not a single subtle thing bout that story
@@lordmoncef5494 gta 5 is more of an action movie than a video game smh
@Evan McMaster i have not yet encountered this train, i have been there night after night and it never shows up.
Rockstar is still amazing. Only gets bad rep cuz online
This is why games like Fallout and Red Dead never get old to me, the amount of love and detail put into little parts of the map 90% of players will never go amazes me. I'm still finding out new things about these games all these years later.
If you play Fallout 3, go somewhat northwest of Paradise Falls. You should be able to find a line of Pre-War cars on a Pre-War road/highway. If you go to the front most car and turn in the direction the driver was headed, you'll be looking right at downtown DC. There should also be a skeleton hanging out of the front window and a tree down along the road (I can't quite remember and I don't have time to double check myself). This implies that this driver was driving along the road when the first nukes hit DC. The flash instantly made him blind and the shockwave of other bombs caused the tree to fall in the road. Being blind, he hit the tree and was ejected from his vehicle. The drivers behind him may or may not have also been blinded and rear ended the person, causing the line of cars you find.
There's nothing to find, no explanation. It just exists. Fallout 4 is full of things like this but for some reason, they have this feeling of being too staged. Fallout 3 however somehow avoids this. It just feels right, like it's supposed to be there.
Fallout 4 is trash
Fallouts 1 and 2 and New Vegas only, you mean, because bitch Bethesda got fucking lazy and just retextured the same game engine to make Fallout 4 when it SHOULD have been the next level in gaming, but Bethesda only cares about money and knows dumb ass mmo players are too stupid to realize their grift.
@wiwysova Amen and hallelujah, finally someone smart enough to realize what a lazy, unprofessional, and greedy piece of shit Bethesda is!
0:58 Can we all appreciate the horse just taking a quick look at the camera?
Why do we need to appreciate it and the horse isn't looking AT the camera
@@Foodsipper Horses can't look directly at something as they have a blind spot right infront of them. They are prey, not predator. Soo the horse technically look at the camera.
I just liked it as in all the other videos of players there is no such "mistake" as a horse head just coming into the picture.
@@ANNEKE1999 The horse clearly didn't look at the camera, just somewhere near to it
About the witch's cauldron. I don't remember when, before or after drinking from the cauldron, a raven or crow (can't remember) spawned to the right of the cauldron, on the piece of broken fence, above the skull with big antlers. It never flew away no matter what I did, and it just kept looking at me. Could be the witch, it's possible she drank the wrong potion, heh.
Yeah, and you can drink the liquid only once. After the original passing out cutscene, the game doesn't offer you the option to drink it again
@Fizhy regarding Dutch's speech notes, these notes are actually from a speech that he gives at Camp Horseshoe Overlook, which is similar to the Colter speech. It is a random conversation that occurs while Arthur is at camp around midday (available camp members are all looking at Dutch outside his tent), and although the speech is not verbatim, it is close, and includes the monkey part.
The thing that I like was the Dutch notes. The thing that caught me by surprise was the robot. I literally just got to the robot this playthrough. Didn't know there was more after
U must have heard about this part
Another interesting bit when you find Dragic dead in his lab is if you find his notes he was actually plotting world domination
Secret Number 5: Vetter's Echo
This is a guaranteed 3 star Grizzly Bear if you are looking for a perfect pelt.
Instead of going up the steps and in the front door, I suggest you approach the back door with a weapon powerful enough to drop the Grizzly in one shot (the Springfield rifle with Express or High Velocity ammo should do the trick).
When you approach the back door the bear will exit the cabin to attack you, so you can give yourself a little bit of space and a chance to get a clean shot in, especially if you come at the door from the side.
In the Vetter's Echo cabin is a Pipe (Dutch's request), a silver pocket watch (Lenny's request) and two cigarette cards.
Thanks for the tip. Every time I skin it then I remember that since I had to shoot it repeatedly with a sidearm it caused its value to degrade. I imagine it'd be also a good way to complete the Weapons Expert # 10 challenge.
Yes but it’s fun to play through the intended scene and killing it with a knife and revolver
@@danielparker8189 its even more fun if u dont know it... come to Echo and go around the hut out of curiosity 😂
I did not know what was in there but went in the back. Had my explosive ammo in my shotgun so ruined the bear and then burned to death whilst looting the cabin.
shotty with slugs my go to
I found something the other day that I didn't know before. Remember Edith Downes? Wife of the guy who gave Arthur TB?
Well in the game she ended up in Annesburg and on the game to make some money. It turns out she and her son became successful golf course owners after spending the money that Arthur them to set themselves up, on buying a golf course 👍
Regarding the stuffed gorilla, maybe the taxidermist was shipping it out somewhere when the wagon crashed instead of it being shipped to her. Just an idea. Also, it's probably been noted earlier, but there is a Viking comb in the tomb behind some skulls on a shelf in a wall. If you shoot the skulls, you can pick up the comb. It's worth a little gold.
The manmade mutant is Gavin
Fizhy everything you do on rdr2 is pure gold, please continue with these vids
Secrets I learned recently:
New trinkets were patched in such as the shark tooth trinket and the hawk talon trinket after the pc release and are also available to console players.
The obelisk in Big valley has a treasure map in it that seems to lead to the tiny church.
Reed cottage also has a secret treasure map that leads to a treasure on the cliff near elysian pool.
The Witch's cauldron, ghost train, and stuffed gorilla were new ones for me.
I’m on my 4th run and have never seen those statues. Love this game :-)
Do you not watch red dead vids or something? I see this on every red dead vid. They somehow get secrets vids on their recommended but never have other secrets videos that show these
Same mate. I don't watch any of these vids for the first few years playing as I loved the realism when playing the game. But after not playing it so much I find myself turning it on just explore things. The robot and statues are new for me and has made me turn on the box this second to go find them. I miss the feeling when I first played this game.. actually felt like you were exploring a new world at times and the detail into everything is just unbelievable. Pure nostalgia when ever I think back to first playing this game
I’ve been playing rdr2 almost since it came out, and I genuinely didn’t know there was a ghost train, or that the robot is at the top of the mountain mourning his father
Your content of this type and the retrospective-type reviews such as the recent L.A. Noire are a couple examples of what I find most enjoyable to watch, not just from this channel but on the platform as a whole. I've been watching your stuff for a few years now after your channel was recommended after I'd been binging The Strange Man's videos, and you were exceptionally cool as I recall you complementing that channel the proceeding to recommend people check it out. Pretty refreshing to see that sort of attitude when it seems like so many channels just pretend others within their circle don't exist.
I'll be honest, I've only just now subbed after all this time because I tend to refrain in doing so with channels who have the more highly produced videos mixed with live streams, etc. I don't exactly feel awesome about it because I always believe the least I can do for anyone who's given me some level of joy through their entertainment is to give them a sub, but my subscription feed became a real clusterfuck and I realized I had mentally tuned out those channels anyway so I decided it best to be a bit more selective. I don't mean to go into my life story here but figured I'd offer an explanation in case you do happen to come across this comment because I've watched a metric fuck ton for your vids and thought I'd offer why it took me so long to sub in case that info might be useful to you, I truly hope this doesn't come off as rude in some way because that isn't my intention.
Anyway, I've already typed way too much here, but I guess I'm not one who knows when to shut the fuck up lol. I really appreciate what you do here, your content just comes off as far more interesting than other vids doing something similar for reasons I can't quite explain but know that it isn't even close. You just keep improving I reckon and it's far easier to let complacency set in as I feel some other channels might have done (can't blame them, I'm fucking lazy at times so I get it). I'm tuned in all the way now and can't wait to see you cover different games in this sort of way as I know you probably get fucking sick of RDR2 even if I could hear you go over that game until the end of time haha.
Secret 4: When you drink from the witches cauldron, you wake up with full health, stamina, and dead eye.
Secret 7: Inside the Viking tomb there is an Ancient Comb to collect. It it located on a shelf underneath 4 skulls, which you need to shoot to move them out of the way.
For online for story mode ?
@@D.O.G.818 story mode. I’m not sure about online.

I love your videos. Espesially does about RDR2. I can’t get enough of this game 🤠
Me too man! My 10 year old daughter just had her first play through. She loves it as well.
I have NEVER seen the statue puzzle until just now! Excellent work. Greatest video game ever created, it’s near and dear to my heart for a multitude of reasons ❤️
Rockstar will never write anything as good as Red Dead Redemption 2.
Safe bet considering the lead writer and his team (responsible for everything from Bully to RDR2), left the company a few years back. Another thing to blame SBI for.
Love the video fizhy, I swear I've never seen most of the things that you shared. It is incredible to know how many secrets are still I'm unable to uncover. Thanks fizhy, keep it up my dude 🔥🔥
Great list. Most of these I remember I only came across on subsequent playthroughs of the game. So many details and tid bits that can be missed on the first, second and even third playthrough. RDR2 still continues to blow my mind at the level of detail.
6 is also a reference to Heaven's Gate, a cult that believed they would transcend their physical forms and join a space ship that would save them from earth's destruction.
The way the bodies are covered with only the boots showing is exactly how the members of the cult were discovered after they killed themselves.
I wanna thank Fizhy coz thanks to his videos on these secrets I found them all during lock down which stopped me from going loopy so cheers fizhy 😊
There is additionally a viking comb within the tomb. If I recall correctly, it is hidden behind some skulls within the inner section of the tomb. It's a neat little trinket, which you can sell for I believe 50 dollars.
I really like your rdr2 videos. Just wanted to point out you can get a viking comb from the tomb as well, you have to shoot the skulls to reveal it but it’s just behind where you get the helmet.
Kudos my friend, I've beaten this game 4 times, and just replayed it 3 weeks ago, at least half of these secrets I've never seen or knew about. Awesome stuff!
The statues in the harpy cave that need to be pushed are those with a prime number of fingers, like 1,2,3,5,7,11,13 ie: a number only divisible by itself or '1' the one-armed statues fingers add upp to seven if you find his other arm across the cave.
😳
what
Funny fact: in Brazil the prime numbers are called "números primos" which translates to "cousin numbers" lmao
Wow, I wasn't aware of over half of these! Amazing video, amazing game.
Love your videos. Love this game. When I play it, I feel as though I'm taken back in time to a world that's both familiar yet foreign.
done a 5th playthrough and still found new things came across camp side quests I have missed. Camp encounters, random encounters like woman crying because i killed her husbent and many more. Also found out you can talk your way out of a bounty and robbing a guy on horse with out getting in shoot out is so much fun. also found so missions with alternative outcomes for some missions. Its crazy how much went into this game.
Ah that intro music.. I recently started my second playthrough, but this time I'm just exploring every aspect of the game (never done much hunting before, collecting wild horses, treasure maps, strange and secret areas etc.) and I'm having a blast. What a beautiful game.
The speech notes are actually for a speech Dutch will give at random in Horseshoe Overlook. It’s one of the many amazing random gang dialogue moments in the camp. I just experienced it for the first time on my recent playthrough as I’m posting this
“It appears to have backfired because now I own his skin” classic
I really appreciate the effort and quality of your videos! I’ve had this game since release date but just never got into it. A few days ago I installed it on my Series X and have absolutely fallen in love with it. Amazing video man!
If I'm not much mistaken, its worth investigating the crashed train carriages featured in number 9. You have to climb up and jump into the carriage from above, and inside you'll find some gold bars (can't remember specifically how many bars)
oh yeah.. that's a fun one.. LMAO being sarcastic as it took me FOREVER to get into them for the gold. I'll NEvER forget that one. LOL
2 gold bars. Also, inside one of the crashed carts on the ground there's a chest with valerian root.
I came across one of your videos and loved it and every since subscribed to your channel i loved all the videos on characters on red dead redemption 2 but i absolutely loved this one more, i didn't know few of the secrets fair few actually but look forward to more red dead redemption 2 videos whether it's secrets or characters keep up the great work my man 🤜💥🤛
Had red dead 2 since the day it came out and I had no idea about 2, 7, 8 and 9
This game is the best thing to ever grace the gaming world and I wil not be told otherwise
Number 5 with the bear you can also grab the pipe in that hut for Dutch that he requests at camp
4:11 that screen shot! Can see all the way to Saint Denis, Emerald Ranch, Guthrie Farm, the two big rock formations just out side of Horseshoe Overlook.
I just discovered this a few days ago. Dutch's speech notes aren't from the speech he gives when you first get into camp. I was randomly at camp getting some stew when Dutch came out of his tent to give this speech, Hosea, Molly and a few others gathered around.
Love this!! Good job again bro!
When he said "Hey Kieran, what do you think about this detail?" I almost threw my phone at the wall.
The cool thing about the Viking tomb is that Annesburg was inspired by a lot of rail/industrial towns like in the Midwest and Pittsburgh. The Midwest had a large Scandinavian population so it is a nice easter egg
This game is jam packed with mysterious stuff, truly a work of art.
The detail that was put into this game is quite literally incredible. This is just the greatest game, if you can even call it that, of all time. How is it this game has been out since 2018 and there's people with thousands of hours logged and there's still videos like this! Absolutely nuts. Props to you, Rockstar. You really outdid yourself here
I’m liking this new series thanks for the content
Most of the people who have watched your channel a lot already know most of these yet it's still fun to watch
Dutch does another speech at the horseshoe overlook camp which is more like the notes you find, it's one of the randomly generated camp interactions
I'm binge watching all of your Red Dead Redemption 2 videos, excellent videos! Also, I like that you revisit them just in case you missed something. Not many do that. :)
Dutch gives that written speech randomly at some point in Ch2.
Also, at night at least, that witches hut has a Raven that watches you and won't leave. And that viking tomb has an ancient comb worth $50 next to the helmet.
The two trains derailed in the ravine could be a call-back to the ballad of Casey Jones. according to the song: he prided himself on his punctuality as an engineer however he noticed he was behind schedule making his delivery so he speed up full bore unknowing that on that same track was a passenger train coming the other direction. by the time they realized it was too late and the trains collided.
For number 9: one of the train cars (the one that is standing straight up) has gold bars and other goodies inside. You have to get into it from the top
So crazy u made this I just restarted rdr2 the other day and just got home to play it cheers 🤘🏻
After couple of years of passing the game i just recently started playing it from the beginning to enjoy all the new addons and side missions which are the best.
You made a little mistake. The Marko Dragic mission chain was called “A Bright Bouncing Boy” not “My Last Boy”. That was the name of the final mission with Rains Fall and Eagle Flies.
Ah you’re right, my error
For #9 I think it might be a reference to GTA V with the mission derailed, where two trains crash into eachother, and fall into a lake/ravine
Love RDR2 and you are the primary guy I go to for vids on the game.
Great vid Fizhy boahh!!Keep it up!
Thank you for making me install this game once again!
Well done! That ghost train was very cool! Thank you.
Bro keep doing this, my favorite RDR2 secret series
I had no idea you could do that with the viking helmet... wow. Not that I'll ever do that because I get way to emotional to wear anything other than Arthur's hat for the final few scenes. But it's still nice to know it can be done, you know? XD A BONUS secret!
(It should totally be called 10 and a half secrets)
We Love Red Dead Redemption 2 And We Love Your Red Dead Redemption 2 Videos!
The ghost in the swamp didnt make the list? Interesting
Gotta save some of the good ones, the Ghost, the Vampire, for a part 2 don't I.

I love the idea of Arthur running back to camp and talking like Al Gore in South Park after he finds the mutant.
Love your vids. So well put together. Alao YEAH! First time I ever saw an Arthur wearing my Arthur’s hat!!!
I love your content keep up the good work!
Love this game. Great vid, love your channel!
I actually encounter number 9 on my very first playthrough and really early into the game too. weirded me out cuz there was no explanation and it never came up again I thought I'd imagined it
In the Viking tomb, there is also the Viking comb, hidden under some skulls if you shoot them with your pistol
By far the best game ever made. I mean the content is endless. It never feels stale. Just amazing what rockstar achieved. I fear we might never see a game so good again. The graphics, the minute details, the hidden secrets, the interactions, the story. Just amazing. Almost seems impossible.
Love your channel keep it up
Will check that out because I freaking love the ME series too, just played through the trilogy again a couple months ago lol
This is the GREATEST video game ever created. I honestly don’t know if there will be something better than this in the next 10 years. This game just takes your breath away, the sheer size of the game , amount of interactions , scenes , secrets , alternate scenarios, dialogue, and characters is seriously MIND BLOWING. never thought a game would come along like this.
Kinda wish you wouldve pointed out that in the Man Made Mutant room you can find in a drawer the pamphlets Thomas Downes was trying to hand out and get donations for in the beginning in Valentine. Adds some suspicion about where he got TB from in the first place or the connection in general
Now this is a connection I have not heard before. Very interesting...
I thought so as well. I wish I could credit my source but I can't remember the video, however, I have gone back and saw it for myself and confirm it's true.
However, it seems very obvious he was scamming people so maybe it's just another person who has fallen into that group of scammers. But this would bring up the search of these pamphlets map-wide in which I have never heard (not to say it doesn't exist). I believe it's more likely that this was Downes room and this would explain the TB and lack of money if all his time is spent here
@@jimmyasbell261 the source is YT @OutlawGerry
Dutch saying he'd throw himself in the grave for the others, then had the chance to on more than one occasion with Agent Milton is huge foreshadowing
i stumbled onto your vids a couple months back, been watching them for a hot minute.
I watched the mutant one, where i didnt see anyone else piece together that it was manbearpig in the comments, so i posted it.
still seems like the closest answer given what it is
You can actually access the fallen "ghost train" inside it you will find loot including a gold bar 👍
What the hell. And I thought I already knew all the secrets. More than half of all the secrets here I never knew about. Awesome stuff Thanks!
#3 you can push the buttons in any order I think. Cause I started in front of the statue and went left around the circle in the opposite direction that you went and it opened
Super random but while playing Rdr2 a few weeks ago I noticed that if your above the murfree brood cave if they don't see you and attack you they'll go out on patrol and I heard one of them saying something about holding the ground since they've owned for 100 years.i ended up making to much noise and they heard me and I interrupted the dialogue so idk what they said after..hopefully someone can listen to the full conversation and find out more about the murfree brood lore
At horseshoe overlook, if you take your horses saddle off and lead it towards the other horses and then let go, your horse will walk a bit further and then lay down in the grass.
i'm on my second playthrough and didn't know about nr. 1, 8 and 10, thanks for the vid. :)
At Vetter’s Echo, you could walk behind the cabin and wait for the bear to come out. Give it a clean kill and you get a 3-star pelt. Take it to the Trapper and make a saddle out of that bear’s skin. 👍
Or you can just become monch
LOL the last ride cutscene with Arthur wearing the viking helmet. Micah is gonna have a bad time trying to punch Arthur with that on
I've played over 1000 hours, and still learning new stuff. Like when you're in a gunfight and your deadeye is running out, you can drink a deadeye tonic while still shooting people in deadeye with your free arm.
I never knew about the note with ductches peech or about the robot being up in the mountains. I was aware of the rest of these though as I have played this for a few hundred hours as well as watched other videos of people showing secrets.
Great video. I think LA Noire top 10 secrets should be next.
I don't think I would have got thru the pandemic without this game keeping me occupied and sane for months... ❣
Great video definitely didn’t know about ufo
When did Dutch have time to write down that speech? Between blackwater and the cabin he would have had zero time to do so. So he knew the blackwater heist would, or at least could, go badly for them. Interesting.
Games 4 years old and I just wiped the dust off to start another play through. That’s how good it is
One of the best games ever. Been almost a year since playing it. On my 3rd play through now. Gonna take a lot more time this time. Plan on staying in Chapter 2 as long as I can.
@@jimmyasbell261 yes me too. I plan on getting every single missable, unlock every item, finish all side missions and challenges before I let Micah out of strawberry jail 😂
Another fun fact about the Statue room at some point in time it was used as a little Hideout area for the 7th generation
I heard the speech of dutch in one of the activities in the camp on my fist day in it (the angel part gave it away), but did not know there was a script for that
6:41 that was mad impressive fizhy lol
if you shoot the skulls in viking burial site, you can find a viking comb, also a shrunken skull can be found in Lagras, near the cat skull mask location, you must shoot something in one of the shacks there, I can't quite remember what?. its been ages since I found it.
if you run along coast from the viking stone above annesburg... there is a shipwreck, in a box there you can find a shark tooth trinket. If I recall, it aids horse bonding?? or something
I've just started a new play through yesterday so I'm just gonna look whilst watching the video
