It's a shame that Polaris shutdown AGL and the graphic kits. This move is going to have a crippling effect in the restoration community. AGL was responsible for so many owners giving them the ambition to bring a sled back from the dead. Not sure what the alternatives are since Polaris no longers offers them.
At least Polaris will probably still be around for another hundred years unlike Yamaha snowmobiles I miss my prox might pick up another one this summer
I’m working on a 2001 xcf 440 as a project in similar shape. Motor is low on compression and parts for it are near impossible to find. What would you recommend as a motor to go in it? What I’d give to just hunt around your garage for a day lol.

I’d toss a older 488 Fanner in it. The case reed 440 fans were some of the finickiest engines polaris ever used.
Do you notice a difference worth the price of Vforce reeds or no? I have a 2002 edge x 700 and don’t want to spend the money if they don’t change much
