My sim as a child and teen get the the Cautious trait from being an Infant. it's everytime he's at school lol

It’s interesting that some people find the new menu easier…I can’t stand it, personally I found it easier when it was in alphabetical order. That’s just me though

Seriously it’s very strange, they could’ve reorganized the system of conversation collected themes but wish they made it alphabetical too, now I can’t find anything and it takes forever to search for what phrase/interaction I want. For all the things they could improve/fix, they constantly work on what’s not broken…then break it it seems

i think its just because I memorized where everything was :( I think its easier but its a bit annoying for me compared to when it was alphabetical.
I removed Carl's Dine Out mod just to see what would happen with Dine Out. I am SHOCKED TO MY CORE at how smoothly 6 sims could go out to eat together and Not Starve. It worked so well Without Carl's mod.

@@csubab5339 the video lilsimsie posted May 15, 2023, her sims went to a restaurant and were served and done eating in 2hrs. an example of Dine Out actually fixed. you can see for yourself.🙂
Thanks. I never had problem with Dine Out, but now my restaurants will be more popular in the gallery 😊
@@melanie_luv2_sew Ok I have the results. I. AM. SHOCKED! My sim had a three course meal in 4 hours! Im so glad they finally took the time to fix that pack!
I hope that gain/loss relationship implemented something i loved from sims 2, the fact a sims can sees other sim as their friend or even have a crush, while the other may not have the same level of relationship, to have more dynamics and not having a "perfect world where everyone loves each other"
10:39 Fear of unfulfilled dreams/dead end jobs are pretty annoying to deal with even when you do things they want to do or doing jobs that match their traits. You should turn it off in the settings by unticking the "wants & fears".
Fear of crowded spaces triggering during a festival in San Myshuno. YOU CAN JUST WALK AWAY, IT'S AN OPEN SPACE AND YOU CHOSE TO WALK TO THE STALL.

these are the kind of subtle but extremely effective updates sims 4 needs and im glad they're doing more recently

I must say, restaurant updates do feel much smoother and better. I don't always play it either so I didn't recognize everything at first, but it is working a little better than the last time I played.
Placing clutter without the need of the red shelf was the only update that we need.
And fixing dine out? Cus it works properly now

Diapers kinda suck now. WHY CANT THEY JUST GET IN THE NERBY BIN LIKE THE LAUNDRY. Now you have to pick them from the floor 😢😢😢
It takes like 5 mins every sim day to clear out rooms filled with diapers and bottles im tired of it
@@aceenbean yea, it sucks. I EVEN PLACED TRASHCANS NERBY BUT NOPE, ON THE FLOOR YOU GO, DIAPER! Only if you PAY for the dlc that adds changimg table you dont leave mess everywhere you go so thats just great :DD
Im never making my sims having a pregnancy now, unless I just want to have a baby shower, but the rest will all be science babies

5:30 About the grouped interactions, I feel like this is very useful for newcomers, but for veteran players that have known absolutely well of the social interaction choices, it's a hard transition as I need to know which particular interaction is grouped to. I've known very well of what each particular interaction, especially Funny, Friendly and Romantic, now I have to think whether a similar interaction happen to be in a interaction category that are so far apart

I am a fan of the new decor slots on sinks simply because it makes it SO MUCH EASIER to add a soap dispenser of some kind to them! I like that little touch whenever I'm building a bathroom. I would like to state, though, that it appears that if your Sim already HAD the bugged "Fear of the Dark" moodlet before it got fixed, they're still going to get it -- my Victor Sim still gets it on the regular (fortunately it's generally drowned out by other moodlets). Bit annoying.
Kinda sucks that they gave us BG diaper shelves and decoratives but not an actual changing table lol I know I shouldn't be surprised at this point but it still was a very sucky thing to do.
The fix for the nieghbourhood stories was much needed...I always had to switch off the adopt or have a child for every save
I leave it cus it's funny to see how many babies what household has. Or when they adopt TON of pets. I give one of the pets away if the household is full and that sims household does not have children, I just give that pet to a small family
So they fixed the game as well as the many other bugs from all dlcs, right? 😃

I want the Sims team to fix the "Time Lag" bug that has been in the game since the game came out(and it may be in the Sims 3) Its when you have too many skills maxed or high level(or it may be because too many traits) and because of that, if you put it on 3 times speed, it would say its still at 3 times speed but the game would be in 1 times speed.
I only have it when all of my sims are sleeping. The 3 times speed is weird but other than that, no issues
We wish for imaginary friends ability for sims 3 generations.

Is it cheaper to adopt rather than having a science baby? Cause otherwise the science baby makes adoption a useless feature. Perhaps they could make different types of babies get different trait rewards or something
Adopting is 200 simoleons cheaper and it's still pretty useful if you want to immediately adopt kids that are older than newborns. Adoption also lets you have a look at the adoptee candidates' appearance first.
@@onlyabidoang That's a bit more than I thought, though it still seems like the lackluster option. It would only take a few mins to age up your science baby to see what they look like and then you can reload a save to get a different one. I just feel it needs more depth yaknow lol
I get what you mean, but that doesn't mean that adoption is obsolete now that science baby is a thing. It can be used for storytelling purposes because I'm pretty sure some players consider science baby to be a bit "unrealistic" in a way. Adoption also lets sims choose kids that look completely different to them. It also lets non-human sims who physically can't have babies to have their own kids, like ghosts and Servos.
@@onlyabidoang to put it blunt, irl people go for artificial whatever or test tube etc means to have their own baby than adoption. So, its a good story-telling tool if they wanna go that route, I personally would adopt in sims and irl (if I need to).
@@SasukeUchiha723 Oh yes I'm aware of those. I just said that it's "unrealistic" since you get a baby of your own with your gene at the same exact day in the game. But I agree, both can still be used for storytelling purpose like you mentioned

I just went to a restaurant in-game and was expecting to be waiting forever for the food, but it worked a lot faster than it normally would. I thought it was just a fluke, but I'm glad to know it was an actual bug fix that was finally considered!
Not enough bug squashing. Those gardening bugs are still haunting us and all of our gardener Sims.
I hadn't played the game for a couple of months, and your video is super helpful to me. Thanks!! I feel like the interaction catagories are useful for friendly interaction, but for funny, mischievous and romantic they are kinda redundant. Or it's just me not being used to them.

Mannnnn I HATE the new way the dialogue is set up >:/ before you just had to click friendly and then click more a few times to go through and check which you wanted. But now you have to click friendly and then click and unclick like 7 subcategories to find the exact thing you want. How the fuck an I supposed to know which subcatagory selvadorian phrases are under??? They’re not even all under the same ones!!
I wish that we could pick our social menu format. I prefer the old one.

So far the infants are pretty great. It does annoy me that my sim will leave them on the ground while autonomous when the baby is tired... I feel like the A.I. should be updated just a bit to learn better choices? That I could get behind. It doesn't need to be perfect but it just needs to be worked on so that the sims can literally learn shit with phases like skills but hidden. This could be called the understanding/empathy system for cognitive recoding.

Hey guys, I'm playing sims 4 and from last update there's a terribly confusing interaction menu, Can I reconfigure it to have it as it was before?
Unfortunately I still get stretch infants, so annoying 😢also the fear at night glitches I still get because when sim gets that fear, they continue to run with fear even after the moodlet is gone 😢
Do you still get the "Fear of the Dark" moodlet or does your sim have any other scared moodlet? Because sims will run in fear when they're scared in general, not just from fear of the dark

I found a townie I ts4 and I looked at his traits and one was non committal so I changed it but he still gets the tense moodlet cause he is in a relationship with my sim. It really werid

I absolutely HATE the new social menus. A big no for me. Especially when I’m trying to satisfy a whim, aspiration, daily career task or complete an event.
I'm personally relieved for the interaction catagories change, as it I find it SO much easier to get to the interaction I want much faster.

Note: Male Sims without milk production can still breastfeed if they have a science baby as single fathers (checked with a male alien, but it worked).
I thought male sims could always breastfeed after having a baby with an alien?

I had a male alien have a science baby as a single father.
For example 2 aliens having children won't make the male alien without milk production produce milk. But if somehow the male alien gets the alien pregnancy through abduction (seen it happen before), they do get to produce milk.
