Yep, tbh I don't really recommend setting this video as a standard for the overall features of the pack since I only show a handful of features I think many people don't know. Sims review from LGR for example really summarizes the features and its pros and cons so you can decide whether to get it or not. Hope they decided to add some more of these at least to the base game one of my favorite things I enjoyed from the first two sim games is the random phone calls and chance cards.
itsme_tabidiaz idk if u watch james turner but in his LP the fabricator only works like three times out of ten. my luck is just as bad, and according to others it's the same. the fail to success ratio is completely unbalanced and there's not even a way to upgrade the fabricator to unbreakable.
@@mi1kguts if you want your fabricator work well, you should in a right mood. I guess when you are excited, it works without breaking. Try diffrerent moods for your sim.
Look up sims 4 all in one pack by thesimsarchitect. It's all the game and stuff packs for free, I've had it since vampires came out and update it whenever a new pack comes out. The only downside is that you can't use the gallery. But in exchange for not spending over $150 on virtual shit and contributing to EA's capitalistic nature, I say it's worth it.

This isn't exactly my cup of tea in terms of expansion packs. I am sad, though, that the new phone calls aren't included in the main update. Those would add SO much flavor to the game, and so many homages to the originals.
When you do get enough money I suggest getting a bundle! It comes with a stuff pack, expansion pack, and game pack I believe 50-60 dollars. Still expensive but a lot less expensive than getting them all separately! ❤️

5:18 That table is more similar to what can be found in The Sims 2 as it is a single grid table. I’m not sure, but that’s probably the same table that can be found in 1 and 2, the only difference being that The Sims table is 4x4 and The Sims 2 table is 1x1 and they have the same coloration options. What you said is true where it originally came from, but that table is more from The Sims 2. Edit: Oops. I meant 2x2 on The Sims 1's table ':D ... 4x4, it would be a pretty huge table xD ...

Wow, as someone who is actually interested in a real like eco/ low waste/ sustainable lifestyle, this pack just does not seem entertaining like at all.
It is very different and it is somehow real. I would like more realism at some other points, e.g. that their characteristics really matter. Things that are more fun to do I don't like, that they included the bills to the game, and without the Eco pack I cannot save money. Or I haven't found out how to do so 🤷🏼♀️

I personally love it. I think the message of a community bonding and coming together to actually address an impending climate crisis is uplifting, and you get to see immediate rewards in the game. Plus it provides ongoing real challenge which this game sorely lacks. But I guess if one prefers a sunshine and rainbows only utopia game then this may not be for you.
12:27 so i originally had a household and i made two sims get together , then i switched household to some other sims which knew the sims in the previous household , and one of the sims recieved that call (i don’t think i own eco lifestyle) , thinking it was from a mod or a random phonecall that had no significance to the sims , and that they were just randomly selected cause they have a partner , i said ‘say yes’ .. my sims got engaged without me
I mean- I didn’t know they added it in. So I thought it was only the older games. I couldn’t pay the bills, then I get a prank call saying “they are coming for you”

This doesn't necessarily also apply to just Eco Lifestyle, but if an object is damaged (or needs to be replaced because it's been struck by lightning, set fire to, et al), a spellcaster sim can use the Repairio spell to restore it to full working condition without the need to pay half of what the furniture cost in the first place. I found this out with a solar panel after it got struck by lightning.
Beetlejuice is actually a demon that you "summon" by standing around in a circle and saying, "beetlejuice, beetlejuice, beetlejuice." I rememeber that me and my friends tried to summon him in school and we also tried to summon Satin.

Thank you! Yeah I can see where you're coming from, especially with the meat wall and smog vacuum. But I always see many people online knowing there are meat walls in the game (for example), but have no idea on how to obtain them. That's why I included these "well-known" features so I can also explain ways to get them, which many people don't know imo.
the water mist shower reminds me of the (ahem, infamous) shower scene in Dune. There is mention of such shower and cleaning facilites in the books, if memory serves. the idea is that you use less water by using it as a mist than as direct water from the jets. (the bathrooms likely are also moisture sealed, so you keep as much water as possable and claw back as much as possable too) additional : apparently Sting still has those famous 'trunks' he wore in that shower scene ^^ they say his wife loves him in them. (cant say i blame her, he had a fantastic body back then. Lucky lady, be happy ^^)

There's also a phone call where a sim will as you if you're Vinny. If you say no they'll just hang up. But if you say yes they will give you 5000 simoleons and later they will come to your place to break an object in your house xD
Just did the calculations, turns out those who bough the sims 4 with every expansion/stuff pack, could have spent their money on the ps5 with 2 more games! EA leaches money out of you guys and you let them and for what? A game that is dull in comparison to the sims 3

And it's one of the only breakable objects that can't be upgraded to make it unbreakable.
