I’m so happy we live in a world where this song exists😂
& the best action " popcorn movie " on the planet.
Hell yes
@@DanielAppleton-lr9eq in any universe.
John Carpenter was the Ripe old age of 37 when he filmed this video and he doesn't look a day over 65.
For real! I'm around that age and I don't even look half as old as Carpenter here lol
They look like they're part of a bad office sitcom
Adam Sandler on keyboard is lookin' a bit old, himself... for 1986.
😂😂😂
@@Shin_Lonahow dare you disrespect michael myers
You know how cool a director is when they're also a pop star.
This was his moment to live out that collage dream. His music might be the most universally great aspect of his films.
This song is ridiculously addicting. I love the movie and this song is just perfect for it.
This is more 80s than 80s themselves
That's what makes it awesome!
So true.
Hell yea
This is 80s the actual 80s ran into the mystic night and grew a mullet.
Carpenter is IMMORTAL!
So many emmotions!
I cant belive this film was underrated!
I can. If you just glance at it, it looks like the stupidest movie ever. You have to actually watch it to realize it's stupid AWESOME.
I think i watched this movie 10 or more times back in the 80's on pay tv and had no idea Carpenter sang this. It's been stuck in my head for almost 40 years now. Those were the days!
Or Jack Burton’s alias is Harry Swanson when he wants to pay for a massage with a happy ending
Nick Castle on keyboards is Michael Myers too. Another fact to blow your mind hahaha
Michael Myers is a helluva of a singer.
Ha ha I know right..................Mikey boy has got some serious chops.
EVIL SINGS TONIGHT!
🤡
I was wondering if that was Nick I was actually looking at a recent interview with Alan Howarth and I was trying to connect the faces to see if that was actually Alan singing!? since I've assumed that it was just Alan and John who did the song along with the soundtrack Alan did musicianship with weather report so I assumed that was him singing as well I didn't know it was actually Mike Myers..😂🙏
The Coupe De-Villes are a national treasure
International
I Grow Up with this Movie since then i became a Big John Carpenter Fan and yes Big Trouble in little China is my Guilty Pleasure 😍✌
Thankyou for existing, Mr. Carpenter.
Great Song - All 3 performer's are Film Directors and all 3 are connected to Halloween (1978) - John Carpenter (lead Singer) Director of Halloween, Fog, The Thing, Big Trouble in Little China, Christine etc..... (2nd Singer: Nick Castle - Played Michael Myers In original (1978) Halloween and Film Director of Last Starfighter, Boy Who Could Fly etc.... and finally Tommy Lee Wallace film Director of Halloween 3 Season of the Witch and others... He is also redesigned the Captain Kirk mask into the terrifying Michael Myers mask for the original Halloween (78)
Michael Myers has some honey in his voice!
Don't forget Tommy Lee also played The Shape in some scenes, those being when he stabs Laurie down the arm before she falls down the stairs and in the closet scene when he's smashing the door.
@@paulloughlin3732I think the closeup of Laurie's arm is tommy also its tommy when he smashes threw the kitchen door.
BEFORE " Rush hour " or " Mortal Kombat " , THERE WAS THIS MASTERPIECE 💪😁
That’s right.
I second that
Where do you think the design of Raiden came from?

I LOVE John Carpenter movies.
and after listening to this i can also say...
i LOVE John Carpenter movies.
You can feel the wind is rising baby!
Funny to see two of the people behind the Michael Myers mask just jamming out
And the dude who played Michael!
This is so epic and oozing 80s. I saw the movie in the theater with my dad and cousin. Still a classic, and having John Carpenter sing the theme song is the icing on the cake!!
Can't believe that was John Carpenter singing "Big Trouble in Little China" along with Michael Myers. Never would have thought of it. 😳
John carpenter: so here’s my idea for a music video
Studio exec: that is the most bizarre idea ever…
John carpenter: oh…
Studio exec: I LOVE IT!!!
I imagine that's how the movie was pitched, too.
This movie has got it all great story, great action, and great song............I mean you can't go wrong with this eighties gem.
This is peak 80s
I thought Id never see an HD version! This is great!
AI does have some very handy applications outside making U.S. president memes.
Not that those aren't hysterical sometimes.
So thankful I was born in the 80s 😊
Nothing beats Wang and “Rain” jumping and sword fighting in mid-flight! …yes you could say cheesy, but regardless; BADASS!⚔️✈️🥋
God, I miss the 80s so much ☹
SUCH A GREAT SONG! THE PORKCHOP EXPRESS ..... JACK !!!!!!
I love how the original Micheal Meyers is singing so high in this.
That totally was a trip to know that. What's next? Dr. Loomis playing the drums with Laurie on keyboards? 😂😂
@@zerimar26 someone needs to make a drawing of that.
I need this on spotify
This film has a special place in my heart, and I’m not exaggerating when I say I’ve probably watched it at least 100 times. It’s a bit sad but I can pretty much quote it word for word, down to the fight scene noises 😂🤦🏻♂️.
I was born the year after this came out, but it’s the first film I can remember seeing on TV. I only caught a few minutes of it, but it was the scene where he kills Lo Pan, then the head pop scene 😂. I also love the randomness of having spinning spanners on your hands as weapons. There’s no film quite like it ♥️
Yep. Me too. Also, those spinning spanners were actually a martial arts weapon called "sho shinbo". It's all in the reflexes 👍
@@dracandrosI did not know that 🤝🏻. All in the reflexes, brother.
Truly, we didn't deserve the 80's!
They need to make a movie about this music video.
My hamster listened to this, grew a mullet, ran into the mystic night and shook down the pillars of heaven.
I’m stunned Kurt Russel didn’t sing.
Best song of the 80s without a doubt. Try and tell me otherwise I DARE U😂
FACTSSSSS!
"It's all in the reflexes."
When he asks u if u payed ur dues jack just stare him straight back in the eyes and tell him yes sir the check is in the mail😂😂😂
I still can't believe it took me about four views of this film before i realized that John Carpenter was roasting the action genre 🥴
This movie is such a great movie man!
The 80’s…they’re overwhelming me…
Carpenter is a genius: director, musician, artist. Such a shame he doesn't film a movie since long time (or better the motion pictures companies don't want to fund and distribute his works).
TAAAAAKE
US
AWAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY
Awesome movie from my childhood 🔥😁
John Carpenter - Bass, Adam Sandler - Keyboard/Synthesizer, Randy Johnson - Guitar. Talk about a Super Group.
Nah, that's Jake "The Snake" Roberts on Guitar 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Nick Castle is the best singing Adam Sandler ever (not that Sandler wasn't good in the Wedding Singer).
Haha that's exactly what I was thinking 😂😂❤
I bought his album.
This song is so 80s, my clock went backwards
Big trouble great movies ❤❤❤❤
Awesome!
I had no idea this music video existed. They should've included it on the Blu-ray.
It is in the Blu-ray
Between Escape From New York to Prince of Darkness,John Carpenter was the fkn best director and music composer on the planet. With that said, Big Trouble in Little China is one of the best JC movies and I loved this song as a 10 year old kid at the end of the movie. I had no idea that Carpenter and some producers actually were the ones singing this song, until 2006 when I paid .99 cents for this song on Napster
2:40 take that, ya floating 👁 guardian!
This is amazing
I like how the editing of this video basically somes up the movie
This is a pretty cool comment section haha awesome movie and very cool music video! John Carpenter is the man 😎
The night must be mystic or it doesn't count.
The keyboard player looks EXACTLY like Adam Sandler. It's unbelievable.
Director y Cantante
Un genio John Carpenter
Carpenter is rocking the Paul McCartney bass
Always thought this was Oingo Boingo
I didn't know John Carpenter also had a band and played the theme song. Great
This is actually a really good song
I loved how most 80's movies were long form music videos.
This is what Dads would rather be doing instead of visiting with in-laws for the weekend.
Jeeeez, i came here because a comedian named Steve Ausburne vehemently recomended it. I dont know if i should thank him or put a curse on him. This is astonishing and weird af.
I'm telling my kids this was Huey Lewis and the News.
Hey that's Louis Castle's dad on keyboards and backing vocals!
All the 80's spirit are in this video ...
The late 80's was the very much the vest era for Kurt Russell.
If they do a remake of Big Trouble, they should have Trump do the promo/trailer narration.
The biggliest trouble EVER in Little Chi-na!
Brilliant!
The video is like watching a 70’s band in the 80’s. Like Styx or Rush.
John Carpenter channeling Keith Richards moves from 3:01 to end of the video. 🎸
Heck Yeah !!!!!!! I'm meeting James pax tomorrow 🤘
Wow, Michael Myers got a pretty good voice :D
Carpenter had a flat screen before any body.
kim cattrall! kin cattrall!
Thank you!!!!! 😊😊😊
Thanks for upscaling
Brilliant Movie !
John Carpenter is a man of many talents 😂
Bit shocked about this. To be honest, I've never seen this before. I don't want to see it again. It's destroying my 1980s vibe. 😂
This is the BEST eighties vibe!
Studio: Mr. Carpenter we need a main song for the movie
John: Hold my Night Train
For years I thought Glenn Danzig sang this song
1:45 Adam Sandler, is that you? 😳🤣🤣🤣
Love the second singer like Fall and Cheerios
When you see Nick Castle with that hair you wish he played Palmer in the Thing. And he looks like Adam Sandler's half brother. I like Nick Castle though.
Whatever happened to writing songs for blockbuster movies?
Why has this movie NEVER been made into a 2P game with a Resident Evil 5 style?
"You know what Jack Burton always says? What the hell." - Jack Burton
Michael Myers singing backup vocals haha
He had the devil’s eyes, but the voice of an angel! 🤣
I Have Two Members Of The Coupe DeVilles Nick Castle And Tommy Lee Wallace
Nobody told me Adam Sandler was a singer in this song😅
This video must be the inspiration for Tim and Eric's video called Sports
Who can tell me where I can download this movie please?😢😢
It's available to rent or buy anywhere films are available.
And Raiden of mortal kombat was born😊
Pretty sure the keyboard player is Adam Sandler 😂😂
Nope just michael myers
Its As Like Nick Castle Should Belong in The Band Earth Wind and Fire ?
Hey, why is it that the keyboard player- Nick Castle (aka Halloween Michael Myers) Looked so much like Adam Sandler then? Hahaha
Didnt know Bob dylan was part of this legendary super band
Stranger Things WISHES it was this 80s.
