I originally watched this video 4 years ago and I e been using this recipe ever since for a leave-in conditioner as well as a face and body lotion. I LOVE IT!
I love watching your daughter help you! I will totally be trying this on my hair. I have been making homemade lip balms, roll-ons and soy candles to sell as retail in my salon. I'm now researching home made natural hair products to sell as well. I will def be trying this one out. Thank you!
The place where I live is hot so my shea butter is in a paste like consistency, so i just added equal proportions of coconut plus argan oil to it, kept in freezer for 5min to thicken it and whipped it and added alovera gel. But even after whipping for 5to 10min I didn't get the whipped consistency. Colour changed to whitish but it was more like condensed milk. What could be the reason
Hi! I make my own natural shampoo and conditioner bars, and you could probably use Kokum Butter instead of shea butter. I've never used flaxseed gel, but as long as it has similar texture/density and similar nutrient benefits it should be fine!
It doesn't matter. In fact, it's the same. Hot countries like India has liquid form coconut oil and in cold countries the coconut oil freezes. Sometimes in India the liquid form coconut oil freezes in winter
Id say your using too much product. You can always try less Coconut oil and more Shea butter. And if that doesn't work less Coconut oil and more aloe vera gel!
All diy products have a self life it depends on the ingreadants. Just oil will last as long as it's shelf life is. Some as long as 5years Mixes that contain water aka aloe vera gel will last 6months and can last longer if kept in a dark cool place. Hope this helps
Omg thanks for acting like a real life mum... 'i love you but stop talking' is my life. Makes me feel crap seeing mums make everything organic from scratch whilst hoovering and being perfect. Uurgh give me a break. You're cool as anything though ✌

You used solid coconut oil or liquid form. Or does it matter?
It doesn't matter. In fact, it's the same. Hot countries like India has liquid form coconut oil and in cold countries the coconut oil freezes. Sometimes in India the liquid form coconut oil freezes in winter
Tooo cute video💞
the cream is great! but how can i keep it less oily ? if i touch my hair my hands gets oily...
Id say your using too much product. You can always try less Coconut oil and more Shea butter. And if that doesn't work less Coconut oil and more aloe vera gel!
Lils is so cute💓
How do you store cream ?
how long does it last?
All diy products have a self life it depends on the ingreadants.
Just oil will last as long as it's shelf life is. Some as long as 5years
Mixes that contain water aka aloe vera gel will last 6months and can last longer if kept in a dark cool place. Hope this helps
Does this work for people with naturally straight hair?
In the video, she did say" even if your hair isn't curly, you can use as a styling cream or detangler
Can we use our normal home butter???
No- shea butter comes from a nut and is close to 100% cocoa butter if that's available.
Hey, where and how do you store the cream?
she did say in a jar at room temperature.
Kidooo z so cute
whats the shelf life?
You are very pretty
If not having diffuser ...other options ?
Rutu Shah what really works is scrunching up you hair with a strainer and blow drying it😂
My name is also ariba
