Really appreciate your content! I can really relate to your hair journey video. I'm on a journey to get my hair back to being healthy again, and although store bought products cost a ton, I feel they just dont do that much. I love diy's and using natural products so really excited to try all your recipes. Your hair is gorgeous! Could I substitute the kokum butter for mango butter?? Unfortunately can't find it here. Love, from South Africa 💙🌺
Thank you love, that is amazing to hear! I'm happy to help you along your journey 😄. You def can use mango butter instead but it will give the cream a softer texture and won't firm up as much for the end result, to offset this use less oil and play with the measurements until you find the right consistency. I hope this helps 💜!
Another wonderful DIY hair product video, inspired and so relevant for this modern age of sustainability and quick purchase throw away culture ☺️one question, I’ve researched about oxidisation with skin and hair products, would this be preserved for longer if it’s stored in an amber bottle? Also how long should you keep this for? Is it safe to freeze? Thanks my love x
Thank you, I appreciate the love! An amber bottle would definitely help but just to stay in the safe zone it would be best to finish it within 8 months from when you first make it. If you do want it to last up to 12 months then I'd suggest using a broad spectrum preservative, hope this helps!
Wonderful as always! I am still learning my hair and we have a similar hair type and texture. low porosity, fine, 3c. I was wondering have you uploaded a video of how you manage your hair weekly? Im still trying to figure out how many times to refresh my curls or when to do it, etc.!
Thank you love! I have my curly hair routine here ❤️ruclips.net/video/JEnnp2rtl0k/видео.html I do this routine once every 7 days, no refreshing just pineapple at night with a silk pillowcase + head wrap. I hope this helps!
That's a really good question! I have used a ninja food processor to blend everything up but the ingredients are different, bit more simple and it will be a slightly different texture than this one. How I made it is in this video ➨ bit.ly/307asyT
It lasts me 3 months with regular use and a very tiny bit goes a very long way. The initial investment might seem like a lot but in comparison to the curl cream I usually buy once a month, I save more by using this one. If I'm using it less frequently then it can last me up to 6 months. I hope this helps and feel free to sub in anything you already have on hand for alternatives if possible. 💕
This has to be one of my favorite curl cream recipes yet, it also works AMAZING as a moisturizer for the body 😍!

Thanks for this! I made some with Shea butter but it's soooooo heavy!
You're welcome 🤗! 💕
I made this with the same recipe but it always hardens as I’m whipping it. How do I get it to be smoother?
I really wanna do this but I’ve been researching and I honestly don’t think I can afford to 😭 how long does this typically last you ?

@Luna Your very welcome!
Hey, can I use this on curly hair bundles?
Thank you!!
I think so!
Is there any alternative to whipping it for texture I live in a dorm 😭

I have natural hair, will this work for my hair?
I have natural hair toooooo
It's so rare 😮
Can I use Shea butter
You can try shea butter but the creams' consistency will be A LOT heavier and will weigh your curls down and create build up over time.

This lasts me about 6 months because it's very concentrated a very little bit goes a long way.
