I never knew how to take care of my natural waves and curls until I watched this video! I'm so excited to try embracing my natural hair structure! I've been torturing my hair with the flat iron for years.
Omg, just making a comment and saw yours first under mine...I was like omg...that is my twin. But from 25 years ago. I was exactly the same, thought the only way to tame the curls was a flat iron. I spent 2 hours a day, every single freaking day, for years doing this, out of ignorance and lack of education about such simple, healthier, time saving solutions. All those hundreds of hours in front of the mirror, I'd like to have back for something more important! ha ha Now my hair routine is wash every few days with bar castile soap, detangle with diluted apple cider vinegar and wide tooth comb, then apply straight coconut oil. Now I'm going to start experimenting with hair butters for better moisturizing than the coconut oil is able to do. I like the ability to use one product for multiple uses, like a hair butter for heel cracking creme and body butter lotion. And that it can be easily done DIY!! Every high school in the world should have modern day diy self care classes and teeth teens about the amazing world of natural body care, teeth, hair, body...unlease a new tribe of revolutionary holistic entrepreneurs. Have fun with your new discoveries in hair care! You'll love it and it's only the beginning. Once you start wtih one thing, you realize it can apply to every thing. Body, home, pets...you start to analyze your life in a new way. Happy new year : )
I made this curl cream and wow it is amazing. I love your tutorials and followed your advice. I have seen major positive changes to my hair. Please do a tutorial on how to color hair with maximum grey coverage. Love your hair...so beautiful ma sha Allah 🙏
sorry to be offtopic but does any of you know a tool to get back into an instagram account? I was stupid lost my account password. I appreciate any tips you can give me.
@Karsyn Leland thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and Im trying it out now. Seems to take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Hi Ariba! I absolutely love your videos- I was wondering if you could do a skin care routine? It’s very hard to find a non-sponsored skin care routine and it would be nice to see it from you since you use so many natural products plus your skin is flawless!
among all other tutorials, Ariba's guidance is superb ...super easy and no other chemical or additional product is being used...best guidance I must say
I made this cream today and the end result seems fantastic. But at first the mixture just wouldn't stiffen!! The consistency was almost like water for more than 15 minuten. So in a last attempt I put it in the fridge for a while and ta-da - it worked and became a nice cream through whisking. It's very interesting stuff: when you take it in your hands it melts and it's almost as if it never had been a cream before. I put in a bit more of the fluid and less fat. Still worried if my hair can handle the grease. 😅 I'm going to try it tomorrow. 🥰
@@Mariana-vc6sv I'm still trying to find the right routine for my hair. I can say that it helps to keep the curls in shape. But because my curls are really fragile and the cream seems heavy to me, I'm not entirely convinced that it is the right product for me. But I might be mistaken since I'm still at the beginning... and sometimes it seemed right. 😅
Might be a dumb question but where do you guys buy the butters at? The shea butter and coco butter hers looks like a block so am wondering if she can tell us where to buy it. My hair is straight but needs moisture so I really want to try this.
Oh man… I just finished making your other curl cream and I have flaxseeds … well… I’ll finish it out and try this one when I get my rose Mary … what recipe changes would you do for curly hair like yours except fine hair?? Thank you!!
How would you compare a short shelf life product like this to a long shelf life product like diy beeswax/shea butter? I used to make my own flax seed hair gel for curly hair and it worked great but gave it up because it had to be refrigerated. So just used straight coconut oil. But that's not working now and I've discovered hair butters, that also have multiple uses, like heel cream, which I need, and body butter. I see it can be made into bars, whipped or hardened/poured. But what I love most is that it's a kind of all in one, no refrigeration needed. I've got my Amazon cart full of all the starter ingredients to this new adventure, and looking to get some input from women who've used both and can share some comparisons. Thank you!!
Great video. I'm going to try this your concoction. I have natural curly hairy and it's just so dry and frizzy. I've tried so many curling creams that just made my hair greasy and weighed down. Thanks for sharing. Very beautiful btw.
How can I preserve this so it lasts longer than 1-2 weeks? Can I preserve it naturally, if so what are the options and if not what are the options? thanks
Your so beautiful inside and out honey ♥️your videos are my favorite to watch because they actually are interesting and informative to my unique hair texture. You make me excited to go back to my natural God given hair. Thank you and God bless you and your beautiful family 🙏❤️😇
Can we just use this diy cream and no other product after washing, will that be enough, as there are curly-hair-related products difficult to find near me.
Thanks for this video! Wondering if this is suitable for fine curly/wavy hair? Can you air dry for short hair? Also is there a substitute for coconut oil? I’m allergic…
I’m interested in trying this recipe. I wash my wavy hair every 3 day so it appears that this makes quite a lot, yet you said it only lasts 14 days in the refrigerator. Is there another way to preserve it (either something to put in it like Vitamin E, or will it freeze in a mold?)
You can add vitamin E in the right dosage or grapefruit peel extract wich is a natural preservative, you can find it on online shopping. These two will give you three months for your product.
Someone PLEASE help me understand why aloe Vera causes my hair to have EXTREME static! If I leave the aloe in my hair or even wash it out with water (even if I've applied it to wet hair) my hair are super shiny, soft, glossy and put together, but just SOOOO tangled and literally crackle with static! Why is this happening? I think I have medium porosity hair and my mum and brother both have high porosity hair and they have the same results? I can't find anyone else on the internet with the same reaction as I have with aloe! Even my body hair get static!
Did anyone else experience this? When I finished making this product, it remained as an opaque liquid after whipping it. I put it in the fridge to harden and the top did harden but it was a weird texture mixed with water. The water settled at the bottom of the container. Is this because I had to wait for the oil to be warm instead of hot before adding the flax and aloe Vera gel? I’m wondering what went wrong because I followed the measurements precisely.
I'm intrigued too Both aloe and flax seed gel are mostly water so oils and water don't mix... What you're experiencing is what will happen if you mic water and oil and keep it in the fridge The oil will harden and form a layer on the top

@@maniceto88rnjourney I probably bought it on amazon Germany. But I got a huge jar. You can take it out with a spoon... it's quite soft.
Love your video. Have you experienced any separation because of mixing water based ingredients with butters?
Nice tutorial and great hair. ❤
Your hair is great. My hair is similar in texture, but never looks like that
Sooo talented girl ❤
i just realized that the curl cream i bought contains silicone that's why my hair has been more dry lately so i'm gonna try this recipe

You have such beautiful hair.
Is this good for fine hair ?
Does the mixture separate?
Hi, where did you you buy these butters and aloe Vera? Nulk barn, no frills?
How can I preserve this so it lasts longer than 1-2 weeks? Can I preserve it naturally, if so what are the options and if not what are the options? thanks

Can we use argan oil in place of shea butter
Can I use this for my curly wig??
I applied this but the result is as good as applying oil to hair even after drying it looked like i applied oil and going for bath

Can we use this on straight hair

olive oil, flaxseed oil, Grapeseed oil are all good options. Just know that they do not harden like coconut oil when cold.
Where do you buy the shea and coconut butter?

I have low porosity hair and butter not good for my hair type (info from YT and Google)

you can use vegan preservative and it will last longer than 2 weeks

So on top of the cream you also have to use leave in conditioner so defeating the purpose of the cream👎👎👎👎
