Tony's talking about height and how a lot of these wrestlers are short, but i think it was the rise of UFC/Mix Martial arts that really changed all of the concept of a
6'5 guy being a badass and could kick everyone's ass.
For example you got someone like Daniel Cormier whose 5'10 beating up guys whose 6'4 like Derick Lewis and Stipe Miocic.
You also have Dalcha Lungiambula whose 5'8 that won lots of fights against guys 6'3, 6'4.
i would vote the undertaker for president.. tony you would be a great ambassador. marty could be the guy that blocks the bullet..

My grandpa worked at MSG in NYC back in the 70's through the late 80's and
he used to bring me in the back whenever there was wrestling because I loved the
wwwf(WWF, now wwe) I had already met Andre a few times but Andre Ligit did not

Because the conversation about the locker rooms he missed (referring to when the guys used to stand up for the business and not let guys like John Stossel shit on their livelihood without getting the dogshit slapped out of them) was over 20 minutes before the comment about the product being soft. Two totally separate conversations

Tony it don't matter the height of the wrestler, it's the physique, the strength and power, and the athleticism. And Bobby Lashley is over 6 feet tall, not by much. Tony Atlas is either not seeing things at the right angle, or getting stories straight. Drug elements must still be affecting his brain. Tony Atlas and Joe Rogan need to do they fuckin' research on the Bad News Brown, Andre the Giant bus incident in Japan. Tony and Joe need to do they homework before they bury somebody and make a judgement call. Google the Bad News Brown stories, and see that he at first wanted to fight Andre over the racial slurs Andre said, but later swallowed his pride and talked to Andre instead. And sometimes Tony need to shut the fuck up, because pictures speak for themselves sometimes. If Dan says Bobby Lashley is the same height as him, he is! Tony just got to look it up!

Not that I disagree with Taker’s statement in general, I disagree with the arguments he made in comparison of the different eras. The fact the guys once brought guns and knives to the locker rooms at one time isn’t indicative of relative toughness but of the climate of disfunction that existed at one time in the business. Though you may find some of the stories some of old timers tell entertaining, it’s hard not to question the rationale of much of it as they clearly made little sense logically speaking and are not irrelevant to today’s business. It’s different as is the rest of the entire world. No today’s wrestlers wouldn’t do much of what wrestlers of years past did because it would be stupid for them to do those things in today’s world whether inside or outside the locker room. If the wrestlers of the 70s 80s or even 90s tried some of the stupid crap they pulled back in the the day they wouldn’t even be a business because 90% would be locked up for various reasons and rightfully so. So if you want to say the product was better, that’s perfectly fair but to constantly question the manhood of these guys is not. Calling them soft and then turning around and saying they’re disrespectful for responding is not only the epitome of hypocrisy but the very thing you’re accusing them of being. SOFT!
