I am so glad you shared this video and views of Sister White and others. This was very good! In my life time I've had many pets and took care of many animals. They have much to bring to humans. Their love is unconditional. I have two rescue cats and they love me dearly. Buddy my long hair cat loves to set on my lap when I'm in my chair and he loves to get my attention in what ever way he can. My children are all grown and gone and my cats are my babies and they know it. They bring me such Joy in a dark world. I think this the was a very good talk on the treatment of animals. I especially like the fact that angles will keep track of our treatment of animals. And also the fact of how it effects us in our minds.

It boggles my mind that in a country like America, people love dogs and cats more than they love other human beings. My mentality, learn to love others like Christ does, and worry about the dogs and cats afterwards, in just about every other part of the world, they can fend for themselves. I was vegetarian, practically vegan, aside for the vegan religion of not using any animal products for anything, I never went that far, for 10 years. For the first five years it was really good, I won't lie, for the first two years I lost a lot of weight, I felt really great health. By the 7th year, I was feeling extremely tired, my joints were dry and creaky, It felt like I was running a mild fever most of the time and had no energy. I also felt extremely irritable and easily angered, to compound the fact, much of the weight that I had lost was coming back to me, and I was only 27! I was also completely hungry all the time, I never felt full, none of the food was filling, I ate all the beans, all the lentils, all the pulses. Not 57 or 67, but 27! I went to the doctors and had a blood test, and they found that my strict vegan diet was completely lacking in a lot of necessary nutrient and vitamins, such as vitamin B12. So what did I do? I started taking a lot of vegetarian based supplements that were extremely expensive. It helped. At least for the energy and tiredness, but it didn't help for my joints that were creaking and dry. I tried every vegan and vegetarian option, but they were all not working. Idk how, but I saw a video of a professional Arm Wrestler, Devon Larratt, on how by consuming a lot of fish oil, he was able to heal and help his tendonitis in both his arms and help his joints. I saw other sports athletes say that they consumed dairy products that help their joints feel smoother. So What did I do, I started consuming fish oil (which also has omega fatty acids, b6 and b12 and all those goodies), and you know what after a while, most of my joints did feel better. Then, in year ten, I did something that is probably by many considered anathema, I ate some fish again. Let me tell you something, that was the best tasting food I had had in 10 years, it was so flavorful, rich, filling, all the vegetarian food that everyone tries to tell you "this tastes better than meat," that I had ate for tens years and told myself that same thing, well I won't lie to you, that wild caught Salmon, was SO GOOD! Moral of the story, I don't know if I have one.

Great points! I’m not emotionally equipped to discuss animal cruelty 😣 but it never ceases to amaze me how ppl ‘hem & haw’ over how violent the OT is, when in fact, what humans do to children and animals, in current time, seems as brutal, if not far more deplorable 🙈 Thank you! I personally can’t imagine the earth without animals 🥹 I’d venture to say, aside from Jesus, they are the greatest gift… and far from “dumb” as the animals live exactly how they were created to live & I certainly can’t say the same for dumb humans 👀 animals language is different 🤯 in a catagory similar to music, ya know? 🫶🏼🦋💜

Thank you Elise for being one of the brightest lights in the SDA church! Veganism is the right arm of the gospel, and it goes beyond diet. Physical, spiritual, and psychological health.
