I like how Karina saying that she keeps a photo of a random astronaut around the house, and apparently has for years, elicits no questions from the other two
I'm sure she has much more questionable things around her house so they just accept this as the least strange of them all and dont talk about it LMAO
Maybe he's not a random astronaut, maybe he's one cool famous astronaut, kind of like Gagarin or Armstrong
People like astronauts. My brother used to have an astronaut photo.
Reminds me of the Slothstronaut meme.
@@blob-like_Frog probably not, if her friend thought that was her father
When Julia said "do not eat electric ass" the phrase that popped into my head was "do androids eat electric ass" and now you have to think about that too.
I hate that my next thought was “do androids have tongues?”
Ah yes, the inspiration for Ridley Scott's 1982 science fiction classic Bum Nommer.
I mean if androids date each other, it's possible?
Eating that electric booty!
I too had this same thought 😂
I adore when Julia starts on the "okay....okay.....okay..." loop. It's the sound of the gears in her head turning and we can never guess what will spring forth from her stylus
At this point it's just a randomizer of word jumbles.
Tbh a randomizer of word jumbles wishes it could be Julia
i love how the first reviewer wanted to clarify that the photo is NOT RECENT, despite the fact that she is clearly a newborn baby in the photo
Also the fact that photo looks like it’s from the mid to late 1950s. Ma’am… no one thinks this is a recent photograph.
I LOVE that your profile pic is Computer Wife Karen. She’s also my user pic on my laptop!! What an icon 🫡
Once saw a shampoo on amazon that had three reviews, two of which had one star and were titled the following: "a foolish, vain purchase" and "one star is too many"
I know someone made a short film as a joke review for a Styrofoam "tactical banana". He put it in the Amazon review. I didn't know the guy, but I participated in the short film. It was funny.
A few months ago I found out my grandma thought that star reviews online were cumulative. Like, the first time you went to a restaurant and enjoyed the food, you leave a 1-star review, the second time you have a good experience there it's a 2-star review, etc.
When I explained her mistake she said, "That's stupid. You don't deserve a gold star for doing a bad job." I think she ignored me and still leaves cumulative reviews the same way
this makes sense now
And as we all know, nobody goes to any one restaurant more than five times in their life
@@hobomofofosho that's how we got on the topic and found out. We went out to dinner for my sister's birthday. After dinner Grandma was on her phone and asked why reviews only went to five stars. We said well 5 is just an easy number to digest and display. She goes, "what if you eat there more than 5 times?"
Me and my sister: 🤨🤨
I finally understand those positive reviews with 1 star and negative reviews with 5 stars. I always assumed a bot...
I wonder if she was thinking of Michelin stars when she came up with that interpretation.
''I'll made the bridge better in post'' said Jacob, the father of lies.
But he didn't forget the tear stains!
For me it was Julia's scissors, still unusable in the render... Hilarious that she does a bit of watchmaking but scissors? They're a mystery. :')
This legitimately made me laugh out loud.
At least he changed the perspective enough that they're not obviously standing in the Pacific Ocean
About half way through the episode I genuinely had the thought "Oh, Nathan's being pretty quiet today" before realizing he's just not in this one
Ok for the record, the only thing that could realistically be small and easy to store while fitting three people would be a tent.
Or like a group sleeping bag, but still camp coded
Thought it the second I heard the review
Inflatable boat
I thought it would be a funeral urn...
I actually thought of an inflatable raft, first. Which, yes, is even farther off base, but not impossible. :D
Jacob really said "look at this photograph."
every time i do, it makes me... sad
And every time we kiss...
LOOOookatisphooootograph
@@elliein3dI swear i can fly...
But don't chew on this electric ass!
"google maps review of olive" is VERY funny. i like the idea of a cat being a landmark on maps
This feels like something there could be a dedicated twitter account for.
haven't gotten to that bit yet and i seriously thought you were talking about an actual olive XD
THERE IS A CAT WHO IS A LANDMARK IN POLAND, g
Gacin in the city of Szczecin is the TOP RATED TOURIST ATTRACTION IN THE WHOLE COUNTRY!!!!
Did anyone notice how julia managed to avoid drawing an entire scene?? Props.
I can't believe they locked Nathan out so he could review what being in the cold alone was like
"I did not care for it. Five stars."
Could be warmer. Four stars
"The tent was nice. Seven thumbs."
@@ICanDoThatToo2 no silly, we're on the MEAN nathan arc. SIX thumbs out of four.
"relaxing experience great staff" 1 Star
I guessed the first product was a blanket, and it would be a photo of the family all under the same blanket on the couch or something--how bizarre yet wholesome that the reviewer really just shared their family photo for no reason
I also thought it was a tent and was so sure of it until Jacob got it. Then I knew I couldn’t be right.
Imagine my utter shock upon discovering that I own that salad spinner.
is it just enough for two to three people?
Got any pics of you in California to include in the review?
I call BS. Anyone would certainly notice if all their mixed greens were unrotated.
Impossible you say? But it was possible and it did happen. In the Twilight Zone.
@@mudsywudsy It actually is! I'd veer closer to 2, but I can't deny that it has sometimes made enough for up to 3!
For Karina's drawing, I can't help but imagine that Drawfee Jesus got inventive trying to stop people eating ass...but also love the implication given by the review that even literal hot pants absolutely did not work
It just made it smell more appetizing.
@@triumphaladarkshadow4388 Yes officer this comment right here
You've heard of the Bone Game, but how about the Imaginary Bone Game?
Each artist draws the skeleton of a made up creature, and the next artist has to draw what they think the creature looks like.
I think you underestimate how hard it is to draw a skeleton
They MUST play the Imaginary Bone Game
@@wyrmeleon2002 I am truly scared of drawing a skeleton. I know the fear, I know the danger.
Even better! Get pictures of "real" skeletons and try to draw what the animal is. Like paleo-artists
@kirstenwyatt9675 That’s what the normal “Bone Game” is :D and they actually did an episode on it a few years ago, if you look it up !
I have questions about why Karina has a random picture of an astronaut who is not her father hanging in her house but I'm not sure I need the context.
That’s just how people from Houston are
I guess cause it's "random XD"?! Hhaha
cause she silly like that
It's actually a picture of her in an astronaut suit and she's the protagonist from Reternal that finally escaped from the game. Alternatively she was part of an "adopt an astronaut" program and she adopted him to be her pretend dad.
@@KrazyKatLadyyou can adopt astronauts?! Since when!!! Why did no one tell me I can choose a dad and they're an astronaut?!
“I’m not in the salad fandom” is painfully relatable
same. wanted to get into it but I've heard some parts can be really toxic 😔/j
A big thank you to the patreons who shout out youtube suggestions on the discord! ❤
I agree with this comment, but I'm replying to say so instead of liking it because it has 69 likes right now.
@@isthisfiAnd I am replying to increase engagement and ensure that the patreons see op's comment.
Also to tell you that you can like it again. We have passed the funny number.
that first one feels like when you're watching an ad with a full story about some family or whatever and you're like ??? what movie is this??? and then the product shows up at the very end
it's fascinating that Kotetsu is the best Julia's from memory drawing
her Blue Moon moment. And it will never happen again 😂
Karina’s chew toy talk is the most relatable thing to me. My mom gave me really REALLY dry beef jerky to try and I’ve been crunching on those things like a dog gnawing on bully sticks. It quenches the voices in my head :)
I bought a couple autism sensory chews, but the silicone just doesn’t hit the same. Toothpicks are good but they fall apart too easy. I need something in the middle 😔
OMG IM SCREAMING I CANT BELIEVE THIS IS MY SUGGESTION! IVE BEEN WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS FOR YEARS AND I AM SO UNBELIEVABLY HAPPY RIGHT NOW ❤❤❤
Congrats!
It's a great one!
HELL YEAH I'LL SCREAM WITH/FOR YOU AAAAAAA
I genuinely love how they sometimes select only parts of the prompts to just make it more chaotic
Karina keeping a photo of a random astronaut moustachio + being worried what her electric outlets would reveal if they could is why we love her. 😂
Jacob took one sidelong glance at drawing a bridge in perspective and said NOPE. Red licorice spires it it.
SPEED DRAWING SUGGESTION: advertisement posters for a nonsense product, like a yell-powered bicycle or a handheld toaster, idk but I know y'all would have fun, and Nathan would riff SO hard.
YESSSSSSSSSS THIS WOULD BE GREAT
They'll hear you one day
Fuck it, I'll make a random generator on Perchance for this lol
A yell-powered bicycle? 😂😂😂
Youre so dedicated i hope they hear you someday
"julia's stinky lil kotestu" is too funny
I need a time stamp, can't find it
@@RichardKelevra37:29
For Jacob’s product, my morbid thought immediately was “it’s a coffin (or better yet an urn)…just big enough for 2 to 3 people.” The writer’s parents passed away years ago and are already in the coffin/urn and the writer is terminally ill planning to one day (be cremated) to join their parents. Hence reminiscing on the photo. It’s a very heartfelt story about grief and loss but the writer is healing through various product reviews and seemingly unrelated photos from their past. A real tear jerker movie that garnered numerous nominations but was robbed of the Oscar that everyone felt it deserved.
Would watch this and weep copiously tbh
Do Androids Eat of Electric Ass? is my favorite Philip K. Dick novel.
Rumple Khaki is gonna be the name of a halfling npc in my dnd game now lmao
I SAW NON BINARY MOTHMAN
Nathan was hilarious in this vid
i KNEW it was gonna be cinnamon toothpicks!!
my mom has stories about how she knew people who used to make them themselves, i think by putting cinnamon extract oil on toothpicks and baking them (i don't know why the oven was involved tbh). apparently cinnamon toothpicks were enough of a fad in her school that administration tried to crack down on them, and you had to sneak 'em and like trade em clandestinely. pretty sure this was back when high schools had official smoking areas so idk what the big deal was, but idk maybe cinnamon toothpicks were like the proto-vape
maybe that could be a suggestion actually. anyone know of a list or repository of things that adults have gotten into a panic about 'kids these days' having? like from fidget spinners or silly bandz all the way back to when socrates i think was talking about how written language was gonna make kids lazy and dumb bc they're playing with their styluses instead of memorizing oral histories and stuff
jacobs colors on the background are so nice! i love how they contrast with the warmer colors in the photo
i was so convinced the first one was a tent, and got happy when jacob thought so too, only for it to be *that*....
I am again asking you to make drawings based only on the titles of Giallo films. Examples include: *A Rather Complicated Girl* , *The Iguana with a Tongue of Fire* , *Mozart is a Murderer* , and *The Angry Video Game Nerd* .
I have never heard of any of these and I want to know more but am also afraid of spoiling the visions I have crafted in my mind
Those just sound like RUclips channels
Oooo... GREAT suggestion! Other fun titles to do would be "The House with Laughing Windows" and "Your Vice is a Locked Room and Only I Have the Key"!
Suggestion: The gimmick is based off the notion of the 'biblically accurate angel' looking so flippin' weird. But instead, it's randomly generated animals. So like 'biblically accurate dog' or 'biblically accurate elephant'. Things like that.
I have had a similar thought but it was biblically accurate Drawfee Characters, and articulated “flippin’ weird” as “otherworldly eldritch grace.” Imagine if they had to guess what/who it was based on vibes alone.
“I just so rarely depict a bridge” uh oh, get Real Civil Engineer in here stat!!!
😮
as it stands your going to be lucky to get a 2/10 on the bridge review
I also guessed product #1 was a tent! Jacob and I were wrong in the same way I guess 🙂
I thought it was a small caravan. My family has owned a caravan for as long as I can remember, so that's what I associate camping with. Not that that has anything to do with the video.
My guesses were tent, chicken wings, and a Yugi figurine.
………..I thought it was a urn

Speed Draw Suggestion: Finishing off *each others CHILDHOOD drawings*
Similar to the 'Finishing each others line art' episode. But adding in the old 'Redrawing our childhood drawings' episodes.
Interpreting each others childhood scribbles into full artistic beauty ~☆
guys wtf the thumbnail said there'd be no jokes in this one
Lies. Lies and slander.
Thumbnail contains lies. 1 of 5 stars.
The product review that Karina gave Julia genuinely sounded like her writing about the Vash plush she hasn't gotten yet lmao
I love how Julia drew scissors that wouldn't work if it was made into a product
flaws in the design arent their responsability
Karina, you can't just say you have a picture of a random astronaut in your house without context.
I get the Julia Stiles thing all the time too!!! Apparently she is living a quiet life in Rhode Island now according to the head line...
That’s so funny, I live in DC and I get a version where she’s working on Capitol Hill! I’ve never clicked through and read the article, but I also never considered there would be region specific Julia Stiles lies clickbait ads.
"This is all like... bullshit you're saying to me."
Sounds like some nino. She better have looked you in the eyes when she said all that nino.
I love that each review perfectly encapsulates the person picking it’s personality
One of my favorite RUclips videos of all time is Jenny Nicholson’s video where she reads reviews left on toy/decorative spiders, so I sense I will greatly enjoy this video as well.
Alright, little fella
That video is fantastic. Five stars.
Yes! That one was iconic!
I’m now imagining Jesus wearing a shirt with the No Ass Eating Warning on it.
The way the build-ahead salad thing is supposed to work is you put them in ball jars or similar with the dressing and chunky bits at the bottom and the cut greens on top so they're not soaking and in theory don't get wilted too fast. It works... OK, as long as you don't make them more than a couple of days ahead.
I was convinced the first one was Tupperware. It’s like a riddle! Also that grandpas face is one of the cutest things ever
Jacob: I’m gonna make this bridge better.
Render bridge is objectively worse.
Love ya Jacob
If Olive was on Google Maps as a landmark, I’d 500% visit to take pictures of her sweet little face!
Just wanted to say thanks for all the years of laughs guys, your wondeful energy makes everyday better for me ❤
it's always a delight to see a drawfee video pop up when I refresh my home page!
Hank Green is known for explaining tough concepts in an understandable way. What if he explained everyday ideas badly? Like in the style of Zach Anner describing movies (who I would still love to see back on the show!)

Another one in the "Jacob reads Julia's mind and translates for us" catalog
Karina unknowningly drawing Electroboom’s greatest creation is hilarious
The astronaut picture at 7:46 is a picture of Alan G. Poindexter, if anyone was curious. I'm not sure if that's the exact picture Karina's referring to, but hey the more you know
The Oatchi review was so accurate though. First thing I said when I saw the pic was "Why does he look like that?" 😂
Gotta admit, I had absolutely no clue with Julia's pick for Jacob. And Jacob's pick for Karina I was thinking some kind of cinnamon candy so I was close, but...tooth picks?!?! The HOT pants though 😂😂😂
The Oatchi has the same vibes as a Garfield plush I got last year...it looks like an Ed Sheeran Garfield 😅. I love off brand plushies
Congrats on Julia finally doing a really good character from memory!!! Proud of her!!!!!
Suggestion: Holidays as Dark Soul bosses.
Hanukkah and Día de Muertos come to mind.
The scissors blades position is killing me
the build-a-head sentence also threw me, karina. i was so confused.
Same, I was trying to figure out how a salad spinner helps you build (reassemble???) a head of lettuce lol
Meanwhile I understood it as builder head and thought it was some sort of slang for a lunch that a building worker takes to work
I’m so glad Tiger and Bunny has made such a resurgence. I watched it years ago and loved it but every time I brought it up I got blank stares lol
I have a foldable "bench" it's just a long lawn chair for two/three people.
Don't worry Karina, I also thought WTF is a "Build-a-head Salad"?! lol
How are you suppose to know if the thing works if the review doesn't contain an essay about the thing? I mean I see a review of a product that's really short and to the point and I immediately think "That's a bot, or perhaps a real person who's getting paid to give a good review, that's not a real review." Now if I see a review that actually gives detailed information of not only that it works but HOW it works then I know that's a person who has actually used the product.
It also helps if there are some negative points, like even if it's just a minor nit pick for an otherwise good product because people don't say anything negative about a product if they're getting paid to hype it up. People will however leave negative comments about products they otherwise like when they're actually being honest.
Nice episode! Also the captions reading amiibo as "a mii bow" lol
Day 252: You should do an episode where you organize all of Julia's heinous pokémon creations into teams and then draw the trainer who would have those pokémon.
mad dedication my guy
I really like this idea. I've seen it so many times
Oooh patreon subscribers…. you want to screenshot this soooo baadd… I’m leading you with trails of ghost beef and candy….
Gonna comment to boost you idk if it works like that but I'm doing it anyway
Boost lol
Those scissors don't work, mechanically.😂
This is gonna be a good one. Sometimes I read reviews on the product page itself and still don't know what tf these people are reviewing
Heated mattress pads are 10/10. Most of them have timers on them and shut off on their own. I was sleeping in an uninsulated porch for a few days one and I was so cozy (until the power went out, there was a snow storm) my parents also use one to warm up the foam mattress in their camper. 😁
the way karina squeaks abt how stupid and small kotetsu looks is exactly how me and my au/dhd friends react to seeing our blorbos its very funny to me specifically gfdhjgdf
love how Jacob's the Julia whisperer, instantly knowing what character she's attempting to draw from memory
4:43 y'all are in luck! 20 years has a term for you to use. Much like 10 years is a decade and 100 is a century, 20 years is a score! You can say it happened very, very long ago and just say it was two score ago.
Okaybraham
Was sure when Jacob started drawing that first face that he was going clown
I immediately thought it was a tent when Julia started reading the first review
The random photos for unrelated item reviews crop up a lot, mainly on websites which offer some sort of rewards bonus or sweepstakes entry for submitting a review. They ask for a photo, and folks just… upload a photo!
I’m a costume designer, I buy a lot of clothes and shoes online for shows, and reviews truly can be wild.
25:50 I KEEP SAYING THEY NEED TO MAKE DOGGY DENTAL CHEWS FOR HUMANS!!! BIG CHUNKY THINGS I CAN GNAW ON!!!! So... glad it's not just me.
Honestly, I think what Jacob was able to create out of the information of the first one was genuinely genius.
woah, I guess this is when i should have lunch on Tuesdays
i love how this was not a "draw a character from memory challenge" and yet. julia still elected to draw a character from memory.
"It's just Images and Words." Well, yeah, and that album rules.
25:42 I had an uncle who quit smoking by chewing thru toothpicks, and he also ate a ton of those red hot cinnamon candies, so he woulda LOVED these. Rip uncle Bob
The first product review reveal really freaking got me

I LOVE the background of Jacob's drawing in the render
You guys are probably a little young for the cinnamon toothpick thing. Late 70s, early 80s, that was our jam. People made and traded them, bought and sold them. I had a few out of curiosity, but it turns out I dislike pain more than I like cinnamon.
Jacob, I love the way you rendered the background! ♥ And the fact you made the product review make sense and put so much story in one picture is amazing.
opposite of hot pants...cold sweats
One day I hope Jacob makes everyone try a dark canvas with a light pen. My eyes will rejoice that day.
34:00 But salad is... *bunny* food. (Tiger food is, obviously, fried rice.)
Loved the sad but hopeful story Jacob came up with for his
