I LOVE you!! The best teacher on the internet.. you are just incredible. I have been crocheting for more than 40 years and have learned lots of new things from you. God bless you! and thank you so much for these videos.
Thank you for the beautiful baby sneakers tutorial. Love the precise directions with the count of the stitches. Thank you🌷
I have come back to your channel so many times. And my favorite so fare is the hat that looks Knitted made so many. My Dad asked me to make him a few more. TYTYTYTY! And I've listened to all your conversations. About your teeth, your dad, kids, and really think you're a great person and very informing with teaching crochet. Just because I've learned a few months back about the bell, so just today clicked on it. don't want to miss your crochet patterns.
I really enjoy your small talks and some history that you provide. I believe that makes the tutorial more interesting and knowledgeable! Thank you 🌷
I'm so happy I found you. I love your teaching style. The tutorial is so easy to follow. Thank you very much
Thank you for such an easy tutorial. What a great thing you’ve done by actually giving the written as well!!! Stay safe!

Thank you so much for the tutorial. I really appreciate the fact that you count every stitch on all rounds which is really helpful for beginners like myself to be able keep up with you simultaneously.
Love these little converse you do this so good explaining it so well
I love these sneakers. I've already mad the littles and my great grandson wore them so he needs the biggere ones. Thankyou so much. Everybody loves them.
your amazing love your videos I have been crocheting for 15 years and I'm 34 lol thanks for the lesson 😊💜
I am left handed and find your videos easy to follow thank you
I am so excited about your history lesson on the Granny square. I would love to know this.. Now that I am a granny myself even though I have spent more than 40 years creating every shape known to woman.. I loved your simple approach and thorough instructions.. It's easy for me to fast forward through what I already know to the next steps .. and I can pretty much figure out just by looking at anything how to reproduce it. Still it's wonderful you are willing to share your gifts this freely with others. I had really good teachers when I was young like my own grandmother.
Hi
I have made many shoes using your videos..thank you for sharing your work..
Your a great teacher! Love the pattern! Already made the petite version and now working on these. Thank you for sharing it!
I have made so many of these ... this has been by far the best way of making thank you
So how did you get 27 stitches, when you have 32 and mark off 14???? Stumped.
Hi Karen i am not a great crochet person so it did take me some time to do your new born sneakers as I saw it was all in American, so adjusted to suit , but so pleased with result thank you.
Karen, thank you so much for the way that you explain, amazing and happy explanation.I am beginner but I understand you very well. Estella
Thank you for listing your pattern. I will definitely make your shoes.
You’re welcome 😊
Love this pattern. Taken me a few days to get it just right (but that’s my own doing) love the explanations and counting along. One of my fav tutorials in a very long time.

I want to thank you for your clear and easy to follow video and instructions I have been wanting to make these little convers slippers for years and thought it was so hard and didnt even try it. I found your video and I also decided to buy your pattern to help you out with some $$ . Thank you again and Happy Holidays :)
Hi, just wanted to let you know that row 2 is missing a chain 3 in the written pattern at the end of the row. Thanks
Hi Karen, excellent tutorial, TYVM 😀
I taught myself how to crocheter even though the patterns are right handed I crocheter left handed & tried doing it the right handed & I find it hard to do. But the way I look at crochet patterns even though they are right handed it doesn't matter which hand you hold the crocheted hook with it still comes out the same way it's just that when you look at the back one is clockwise & the other is anticlockwise plus if one is left handed & other person right handed that you cannot take over what the other person has done & they cannot take over of what you have done. I was also trying to teach someone that is a right handed & me trying to do it right handed way for her with difficulty, but then she said to do it the way I normally do then she had a go both ways but find that left handed way is easy for her. The only thing that would throw me off with crocheting is when it's done in diagrams & not written down because to me when it's written down it does not matter which hand is the hook's in
Loved making these, definitely the better of the patterns like this I have tried.....
Love yourlittle bootees must give them a try .have only made blankets so far so hope I can do them .expecting our
first grandchild in October
They are so cute !!?
On the second video and I'm loving these boots already
great tutorial, my booties turned out beautyful.
row 2 isn"t written correct. it must be : R2. Ch3, skip 1,Sc in the next 25, ch3, Skip 1, sl st into the next (this is the casting on sc)(2 lace/button holes made) and row 3 has to be :
R3. Ch1, turn, skip 1 ch, Sl st into the next 2 chs, Sc in the next 23, Ch3, skip 1, sl st into the next (3 lace/button holes made)

Thank you Anita! I was going crazy! Since I'm new to crochet, I thought it was just me that the results weren't coming out correctly.

Great stuff.its amazing how you are teaching.thanks.please keep it up
I just love this little shoe where can I get all the tutorial for it . I got p2 and p3 need p1 please
Hi am working on the baby converse slipper . I have tried several times and i just can not get the hole in the beginning of the rows right.. any suggestions that will help me
Easy to follow.
Hi I love to make these. Can you make the low version style? Thank you
****Important to note: In your written instructions for Round 2 on this video, you forgot to note the 'chain 3' after the 25 sc and before the slip stitch. Hope this is helpful.
beautiful
So I'm fairly new to crocheting. I made the sole of this show and "tried" it on my nephew (who's a little less than a month old). He almost has no breathing room. It's basically the size of his foot. Any suggestions on to how to get this just a tad bigger? Like should I use a bigger hook or add another row?
Hi Karen, I am thrilled to bits with the baby bootie patterns. I have found that bootie new born pattern is the same as the same as pattern 1 and it has worked out too big for our newborn...how can it be made smaller. I am a great grandma
+kenneybren : She has another tutorial on how to size them...
I am following the written pattern and found an error on round 2 and 3. After sc 25, you forgot the ch3. Same on round 3, after sc 23, you forgot the ch 3.

Hi Karen, I can't find part 3 of this on your channel. I've done part 1 and 2 and I can only find part 4 and 5 and now I'm stuck. Please help. I've been through your whole channel.
Am totally screwed somehow. I ended row 4 of part 1 with 32 stitches. when I partition off those 14 stitches in part 2, I'm left with 18 stitches to work on. I watched you sc 27 stitches. how'd that happen? Those 27 plus the 14 you partitioned would give you 41 stitches. Can you figure out where I went wrong? TIA
mine is exactly the same
Agree
Is there any reason you sew in the tails instead of crocheting over them as you go so you don't have tails to begin with?
y do I keep getting a stitch count of 27 on the sole not 32
Karen can you review your written instructions, I followed your video for the first pair and they were perfect, Thank you, then I printed out the instructions and followed them it was a mess. If you check row two you forgot to add in the chain three. Please check your pattern thanks
What size needle do you use to make the infant size.
It's 2018. Very cute. I hope your still making your sweet booties.
Were do find part 1 with the sole
hi Karen
I love the converse slippers. I would appreciate it if you could let me know how many stitches do I start for a toddler of 3yrs old

Hello
Where I can see video part one ?
Hi karen, I'looked on etsy and I can't find the pattern for all 55 converse boots, I'm wanted to do the next couple of sizes up but can't - help please!! Xx
Hi Karen I was wondering if you will be coming out with a tutorial of an adult size converse sneaker ive been making one by someone else but been trying to modify it to the way you make them having a really hard time :( I love your tutorials they are so easy to follow and understand please make a tutorial for adult converse sneakers TIA :)
I followed the part one and ended with 32. . . if I mark off 14 for the toe area I'm only left with 18 not 28. Am I doing something wrong?
It makes no sense to me
dziękuję!
why u sew it with needle
Im confused in R3 what do i have to do i think you skipped it
Could anyone tell me were I can find the written instructions please
Please give me the description for the upper part..
Actually i had made the sole part..
But i am not getting how to make the upper part so please send me the description.
I can’t seam to find the soul video to the new born converse.
Love your crochet but I was doing petite now this video is on new born. Where is the rest of the petite baby booties?
Hi Karen I am doing your convers booties and would love your pattern please. Evelyn xx how do I get it
Hi Evelyn, you have two options, one is to use the free pattern in the description or you can buy the full set of patterns from my Etsy shop here cottagecake.etsy.com
Im confused coz in part 1 ypu have 32 rows but here you have 28+14?42 rows
I have two sizes in my videos for the converse style slippers, please check you are following the correct size. One is petite and the other is newborn 👍
What kind of yarn do you use? Cotton, wolle?
You need to link these in order! I would love to make these, but cannot find video #1
by chance do you have this in high tops?
I tried to follow you but mine didn't stay flat... I gave up... I'm a beginner
PLEASE HELP how where do i find the instruction box
I don't know how to get the written pattern for all sizes please help
Found the written pattern now
Odusevljena sam
I’m confused.. the toe area 14 stitches plus the 28 stitches of the sides is 42… the prior video for the petite sole is 32 stitches… that makes no sense to me
I think you may have got the videos mixed up, I have made a petite version and a newborn version
👍👍👍
your missing a ch 3 in R2 aren't you? and possibly in Rd 3 also in the written directions??
sassejanify hi I wonder if u can tell me where I can buy the written pattern for these converse booties I can't find it any where please
Kind regards Janet
Kje je konec cevelcka. Samo zasije nitke, kaj pa prednji del.....
In the first video you say that they are 3 in soles now in this video they have grown to 4 in what's with that
How do you get the part 2 written pattern?
Hi how do you buy the pattern please
+Cheryl Woods You can buy my patterns at www.etsy.com/uk/shop/cottagecake thank you for watching my videos :)
Karen Bestwick
حلو ه كتيره
do u have these instructions written out.?
hi! love your vids but i have just notice that row 2 in the description doesn't match the video...."R2. Ch3, skip 1
Sc in the next 25
Skip 1, sl st into the next (this is the casting on sc)
(2 lace/button holes made)"
*at the end of "Sc in the next 25" its Ch3* :)
and in the video she miss counts again when she goes past the end of the sole
Plz!i need the pattern for 3-6 months babies 💖
****Oops also at the end of R 3 the 'chain 3'' is written incorrectly as 'chain 1' on the written pattern. Maybe helpful for a beginner to note this.
Thanks I want to show you what I did
You have 31st and then you mark 14 how can you have 28st left
Please make sure you are following the correct set of videos if you don't follow them correctly you will make mistakes, I do believe I've said in my videos if you haven't got the correct amount of stitches then you have made an error along the way.
can you make for three month to six month
Where is part 1 🥺
Est ce que c'est possible de l'avoir en français Merci
can you do an adult converse please
