    I like trees and mountains and waterfalls. Thus when I was younger I tended to overlook Utah as a vacation destination. But the more I learn of and see of the variety of different landscapes that Utah has to offer I've come to the conclusion that there really is no place like it. Took last 2 weeks of September off in hopes of immersing myself in this wonderful area.

    The entire south west has some of the most beautiful landscape scenery I have ever seen, every time I see the different rock formations I can only imagine how long the process took, wind, rain, freeze thaw and a lot of time is what carved it it all out. Thanks for sharing it

    AAA! I really liked the feel of this video. You let the scenery do the talking on this one and the finished product turned out great. Really nice shots with the drone as well.
    I don’t have much to add on this one. Never been to this area of Utah. It’s a monument I know in name only, but I am sure it houses some fantastic sights. I will say those short hikes with quick rewards are a welcomed spot for sometimes. It doesn’t always have to be a sufferfest.

    Hello Julie & Randy
    Lovely place and close to the road 89 . Unfortunately this is another place that we have pass trough without stopping because we didn’t new about it . There’s so many places to see around there like the old Paria where old western film were made . The Wave also is a wonderful place to see but it’s hard to get a reservation .
    So the drone was flying around 👍😉
    Hope you had a nice Christmas and have a happy New Years 🎆🎊🥂

      We are confined here in Quebec so no family reunions for Christmas or new year’s but only on FaceTime.
      All stores are closed until the 11 of January for now except those for essential needs.
      Hope you have a nice 2021 new year

    Just curious seeing your episodes how you decide on which park to go to. Areas like Utah have lots of National Parks but also other national park managed sites that might be smaller. Did you start with the major National parks and then work your way to the smaller park sites?
    So many great places in America. You can literally take a lifetime and not see them all. I appreciate your efforts to highlight them.

    • @AmericasParks
      @AmericasParks  3 года назад

      Thanks Mike, and great question! Yes, we usually plan to hit a couple of the major sites and then try to take in a few of the smaller ones ion the area. Kind of adopted the philosophy of many parks, but shorter stays. Then it gives a nice reason to return. This particular site was technically an add-on when our boat ride to Rainbow Bridge was cancelled two days before departure. Take care!

    What is it like flying during this pandemic to get see sights like this? I'm hoping to fly out to Vegas in early June then getting a rental car right away to see Bryce and Zion, but I'm a bit hesitant because there is so much uncertainty. I'm so tired of seeing corn and plains all the time and would like to head out somewhere.

    Both my wife and I loved the Toadstools as well. If you haven't got the chance try to winner the lottery for "The Wave" in Vermilion Cliffs". It is really something very-very special. I did the lottery and my number on the ping-ball came up 1st. I really won the lottery. (two ways - one online and another the Ranger Station the day before"). Good Luck.

    How close is the trail head to Kanab ?

    • @AmericasParks
      @AmericasParks  3 года назад +1

      It's about 40 minutes East by car. The Toadstools are technically in Kanab (I believe), though they are closer to "Big Water."

    Which entrance of the park is this close to?

    • @AmericasParks
      @AmericasParks  3 года назад

      Right off Rt. 89. Google "Toadstool Hoodoos" and you'll see where we entered.

    Randy, where did you camp when you visited the Toadstool Hoodoos? The only campsite I found close to this is the White House campground the BLM lands have first come, first serve.
