I think Griselda's problem is what I always feared. The quantity caught up to them. They was going so hard with projects from 2017-2020. Now it's like where do you really go when you've put out like 30 projects.
This album wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything great either. Tbh he needs to take a break and finish that Gunnlib album with Madlib, which is the only Griselda album (out of the big 3 members) that I'm anticipating and care about
“Fork In The Pot Makin Shit Rock like Medusa” Rome is nasty as fuck! I love this album. Might make my top ten this year. The production is always incredible. That conductor shit was crazy. I honestly liked Rome Streetz album more but this shit still hit.
I agree with Rod. This is one of the best westside projects in a while and I love the energy. Westside don't need to be loud to have energy. He is menacing enough to bring that crazy energy alone. LOVED the production. Daringer has been lackluster for a long time or it's the fatigue. This is a shot of adrenaline for me into interest for Griselda again cuz Benny and Conway ain't doing it right now
Stove is dope! Like literally Griselda could be the new Wu. They could collectively be Westside, Conway, Benny, Rome, Mach Hommy, & Stove on one album really going in (Pause). It would be amazing. No idea why shit is just kinda weird a little with people coming and going.
I heard he did this album in a few days, which is why it sounds lackluster. Feefo is right, this is not on par with his other albums. But it has good beats and good Rome Streetz and Stove God features. We need a Stove God album already.
If I don't see a Freddie Gibbs album review in the next two weeks, I'm second-guessing DEHH Hip hop credibility from here on out. Lmao Gangsta Gibbs just gave us the best rap album of 2024. Westside gunn ft Rome Streets Underground Kings is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I feel like these guys are getting fatigued from the griselda sound because this album was 🔥 I think Griselda should stop releasing so much also. I think they over saturated their audience. If this was the first west project you heard you would be saying this dude is on another level.
That Underground King Joint is AMAZING. Still Praying was a dope ass project. No lie. He really came with it. And there is a version without Drama where it rides way more easily.
I feel like I’m right in the middle, WSG returns to form and creates some standout tracks while being in his pocket, but that also means he’s not pushing the envelope very much and treading very similar waters. Enjoyable, but I agree with the sentiment that I would rather listen to other projects of his like 8 Side B and 10.
This was most definitely a return to form album. ATYP4M was painful to listen to, and FEEFO THE FOOL gone pull it up to compare it’s production with this new album. 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️ AND his “11” album was 🔥🔥🔥 too. WESTSIDE GUNN dropped two bangers within two days. Ken and Feefo, go stand in front of firing squad for this review. 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️😂😂
This album is fire bros. One of the best of the year. Crazy production. I keep spinning it. Modest I agree with you. This is the one bro. This is a way better effort than and then you pray for me with those bad flows and trap beats.. Return to form is a good thing here. Cohesive. Also album is out without DJ drama now.
It seems when these guys go back to albums, they feel obliged to have to listen to the entire project. Why not assess replay value on the percentage of songs you like and how often you’d listen to them rather than the album as a whole?
I say that because Ken gave replay value a D but then says he’ll pick out some songs from it. That means he will be listening to songs from the album again
I like the album but I get what Ken and Feefo are saying. A lot of these beats sound like those "90s boom bap type beat [free]" stuff you can find on RUclips. Speedy 40, Still Praying, Free Shots, Underground King, LaSelle Station are my standouts Also Westside pootie is hilarious.
I ain’t gon hold yall this album was dope and definitely has replay value. I feel like Gunn was back rapping fr on this joint. Overall I give it a 8/10
My only gripe is it feeling a little unfinished and rushed. He did say he did it in one day. I liked it but just want him to be a lil more focused. My only critique tbh. All I want is for him and Conway to drop hall and Nash 2 and for the Griselda big 3 to drop WWCD2
Westside has spent years as my favorite rapper but he really ain’t brought it since 10. I may have to put boldy James , Roc Marciano and Mach Homey above west at this point
I’ve been really disagreeing with y’all lately. I’m sad I’m growing apart from this page. Y’all convinced me to listen to Billy Woods. Now I barely agree with y’all.
Idk man…I just LOVE hearing Westside rap 🤷♂️
Same bruh. He different!
I’ve had this on repeat for days now.
Nah not me. Sounds like a 7th grader in the booth
@@bluu_ice6554 There is… his daughter Westside Pootie!! lol

Hope to see that new Freddie as well
I'm with Rod on this one. Idk why but this album really hit for me. Dr Britt Baker is one of my songs of the year and Rome killed his verse too!
This album wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything great either. Tbh he needs to take a break and finish that Gunnlib album with Madlib, which is the only Griselda album (out of the big 3 members) that I'm anticipating and care about
lol i don’t think that album is ever gonna come out
@gutsfiend6678 yeah lol. We will probably gonna get the third collab album from Freddie and Madlib "Montana" though
This the WSG I needed since P4P, he was rapping. This wasn't a stove god or Griselda mix tape.
“Fork In The Pot Makin Shit Rock like Medusa” Rome is nasty as fuck! I love this album. Might make my top ten this year. The production is always incredible. That conductor shit was crazy. I honestly liked Rome Streetz album more but this shit still hit.
Did Feefo really pull up And Then You Pray For Me for proof of better production? 😂 That album's production is dog water.
That shit reminded me of when he had Westside Gunn in odd Friday. Man ain't play none of the joints and you see why lol
way off. this is good but his last one was better
He could’ve used an entire better album than ATYP4M. That album was EXTREMELY, HELLA disappointing. 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️

That Stove album never coming at this point.
Stove is in a bad management situation
Blame Babygrande

YO FEEFO. Please get Myke in the studio to review these new Weeknd tracks. Carry that tradition!
I like how in-depth about the music y'all went in this on man y'all gotta get back in that bag lol Just my dumb thoughts
🔥 This album a return to form... minus the trap track of course lol
he's using daringer for the trap beats just so people can't say this😭 he's using his OG producer so technically it's a return to form🤷♂️
Brooo them trap tracks be knocking dunhill🔥🔥🔥
Speedy 40🔥🔥🔥
Poor Rod 😂 bro was the only one that fw it ain’t no way
The best part when Rod made Feefo got out of his seat rofl!!
Ransom has dropped 4 projects! Please do a review on his phenomenal work

ATYPFM was a let down so this album and 11 were a breath of fresh air
This album is a good album. Stove god and Rome delivered
That Underground King Joint is AMAZING. Still Praying was a dope ass project. No lie. He really came with it. And there is a version without Drama where it rides way more easily.
Still praying song fire boldy James was snapping

smart marketing move releasing the Gangsta Grillz and NoDJ same day doubling up the streams

There's a couple rappers that could use a 2-3 year break and WSG is one of them.

This Was A Good Return To From, For Westside
FERG ARNOLD ALBUM REVIEW
Same old same old
Nothing wrong with same old when it's good
True, but it wasn't good or bad to me, just middle of the road.@Figleaf-Bicarbonate
Badass AEW tracks on the album
Something about this album really didn't hit me. The production sounded really muddy and most of the songs sounded too similar.
He dropped a no dj version of the album
It a Good album bro it ride and where is mike at dawg on the show.
Myke retired early this year but he’s still on ITMSO and FPS podcasts
Westside has spent years as my favorite rapper but he really ain’t brought it since 10. I may have to put boldy James , Roc Marciano and Mach Homey above west at this point
I try getting into westside gunn but man I just cant, hqrd to follow his flow half the time sounds like he talking without rhyming..not for me.

why does every episode start with a disclaimer
so people don’t have to flood the comment section with questions i know that are going to be asked
I’m with feefo on the posse cut, bar gunn and Conway, song was sub par
