In Everybody Hates Chris the brother Drew was the popular one, if that is based on Chris real life then it makes sense why he doesn’t help his brother shine. It’s wrong but it makes sense
I believe The Rock has a similar story saying when he was coming up, he went to Chris rock to help him and Chris rock shunned him.
If everyone starts putting their friends and family in movies, then the industry will be overrun by nepotism and those who don’t have a foot in the door will never get any opportunity
The industry is overrun with nepotism, what are you talking about?
Ish had a great point tho because look at the charlo twins. They both are great and have the WORST relationship I’ve ever seen from twins and Caleb plant slapped one twin and the next twin said “couldn’t be me” ish has a GREAT POINT
Chris Rock literally gave Tony a part on Everybody hates Chris. The entire conversation with Aries was out of pocket Tony should’ve checked him
Fam that was a small role. His brother not even in the SHOW. He has a brother named Dru NOT Tony. That’s a crazy thing right there
@ Chris has six siblings the characters on the show are a combination of all the brothers and sisters…. You say it was a small role but he literally says in an interview that it was his favorite role to play. He did 6 episodes
Bruh he was on 10 episodes lmfaooooooooo yall acting like he put him in a Oscar nominated movie.
@@joejoiner8582 6 episodes outta what?!? 50+ fam will smith had him in a successful sitcom
@ everybody hates Chris is more successful then All of Us so that’s irrelevant
Funny how y’all bring up the Wayan’s in the comments but forget that Keenan made them audition for those roles. Chris ain’t obligated to help an established actor/comedian considering the fact that Chris helped him launch his comedy career by having Tony open for him and remind y’all that he had roles in All of Us (5 seasons) and Everybody Hates Chris (3 seasons) so his reel tape and lane is established.
Anybody not willing to give their family a chance is a selfish individual. The Wayans put on not only their siblings, but their siblings kids as well. Adam Sandler makes sure to put EVERY SINGLE friend he has in his movies. But you can't even help your brother get a minor/extra role... That's wild.
He's coming with a new set. This is just drumming up hype.... kinda brilliant.
Hollywood is all families lol. He shouldve put him on
Clit bait title wasn’t even needed. The topic was strong on its own
Fake united fronts are among us. Sometimes, family isn’t as close as they pretend to be.
FYI Tony had multiple guest appearances in Everybody Hates Chris
