AOT is one of my all-time favorites, but I've almost forgotton how so many different characters made important contributions to the story in season 1 that were either killed off or revealed to be not be who we thought they were.
How annoyed I was that they left the story aside in the 4th season, gave her a meaningless subplot that was just filler, but on top of that left her with a random farmer, who doesn't even have a name, and who didn't do anything in the entire series, except stone her as a child, Isayama was really weak there.
One of the few times in the early season we hear Reiner’s internal thoughts, and it’s over Historia. Which makes sense.
I miss these good old days.
