Charity Shop Overpricing and Refusing Donations results in this mountain of clothes + Small Haul

Are charity shops over pricing clothes? We've been there when they've refused bags of clothes and when that happens locally, just around the corner is the council run recycle centre and this is where the clothes end up in the donation bins (hopefully to be reused/resold) or in a skip on there way to land fill.
