Thanks for that we chose Nessebar,as Sunny Beach to wild for us,we also love architecture and history. We are going for a week at end of July cant wait
And you must take a Day Trip by bus to Burgas which is less than 1 hour from Nessebar, there are buses every 20 minutes and it costs £4. I got bus number 20 I think

You should visit Burgas (its the 2nd biggest seaside city in Bulgaria with 200k people).
It is very beautiful, much organized, has a tropical vibe and has become one of the most modern cities in Bulgaria. Some call it the Bulgarian San Francisco (you can watch some walkthrough videos to get an idea) :)

Gorgeous Nessebar but I also, as someone earlier wrote, have a preference for Sozopol. It's much more lively, charming and just, it's beautiful.

@@travelwithcol4625 Plovdiv is definitely worth a visit. It is approximately 6000 years old and it is the oldest living city in Europe and the sixth oldest in the world, older than Jerusalem, if I’m not mistaken.

@@travelwithcol4625 Try Veliko Tarnovo - old capital of Second Bulgarian Empire. The fortress is amazing, the city also.

10:30 Sozopol (the old town) is very similar to Nessebar in terms of feel & architecture. I personally prefer Sozopol as my "favorite Bulgarian town" but my son likes Nessebar more, so It comes down to personal preference but both places are lovely, and there are nice beaches near both towns.

@@travelwithcol4625 It's about an hour from Sunny Beach to Sozopol... It could be a bit longer depending on traffic because you have to go via Burgas...
Actually they just opened a "ring-road" that bypasses Burgas but I haven't tested it in that direction... Coming towards Sunny Beach from the freeway is quite convenient so I'd imagine it's the same idea when going South to Sozopol..

@@travelwithcol4625 Not sure from Sunny beach directly to sozopol but if you get a bus from Sunny Beach to Burgas then you can get a bus straight to Sozopol from the same bus station. I think there's a bus to sozopol every 45 min or so...
the prices used to be very reasonable prior to the inflation. Not sure what they are now, but it shouldn't be a lot more expensive..

Nessebar is nice, but Sozopol is nicer. And a lot cheaper 💸
Sozopol next! 👍 maybe watch my Tours from Burgas, Varna and Golden Sands, they are worth a visit for sure and not far
Nice video. Us Bulgarians would always argue about the most beautiful place in BG, but Plovdiv is our official cultural capital and a really cool city with a pretty cool atmosphere. It is, however, quite warm in summer because it is located in the Thracian plains. Our former capital Veliko Tarnovo has stunning views as well but not very big.

@@travelwithcol4625 Plovdiv is older than Rome and Athens. Plovdiv was chosen for European Capital of Culture in 2019. The Ancient Stadium, the Ancient Theatre from 1st and 2nd century, The Old Town, the creative district, the city is built on 7 hills, has the longest main pedestrian street in Europe... plenty of things to do and to see :) No beaches but there is the biggest aquapark on the Balkans...
I want to visit Plovdiv! Nessebar is impressive and Bulgaria 🇧🇬 is the perfect place for a holiday ! I have made tours on my channel of 5 places in Bulgaria so far @ Travel with Col

The taxi drivers in Nessebar are thieving sods, 5 years ago they were asking 30 Lev and I offered 15 lev (on the meter it would be about 10) and one driver took me for 15, in Sunny beach they charged a friend of mine 25 Lev to go to the strip, it should have been 5 at most, DON'T take taxis in Sunny beach or Nessebar unless you have to
👏 They ripped me off too! What taxi company are the cheapest please? Do you know a company for airport transfers?
Stayed in meridian years back, heading out to bilyana beach either june or sept 24. Any info on that hotel would be great .

The main ferry’s are 100 meters away on other side of walls they go directly to sunny beach. Vlas elinite the one you show goes a slightly longer way and isn’t as often and it costs slightly more
Thanks 🙏 they offered me 15 lev to Sunny Beach. Taxi drivers stopped by me and offered me 30 lev to Sunny beach! Do you know a cheap taxi company there? For local trips like Sunny Beach to Nessebar ..
@@travelwithcol4625 the cheapest is bus at 2 lev. For transfers and trips we use Ashley goring ( sunny beach transfers. ) he is fully insured and very reliable. This year will be our 16 th time. Try the tangra restaurant up top in old nessebar. It’s good. And “ cream “ restaurant high up in old nessebar at the road running down the side of it opposite side to harbour Also spiders bar is very very cheap. It’s on the corner from bus station facing best western. Also iglika on 5 corners do large beer for 2 lev

I’m not sure because it’s an excursion by bus offering a package that includes a hotel and a tour , every agent charges a different price , I also have Tours on my Channel from many other countries
