I’m convinced that somehow, while I wasn’t paying attention, someone banned full length mirrors. One of those women is wearing boots that look like a bad imitation of the footwear of one of the Arctic peoples combined with some little chiffon dress. The other has plunked some really bad fake hair on her head and tied Grandma’s lace tablecloth around herself, an outfit she appears to believe is all sorts of sexy! The world has gone mad.

That’s a bit unfair, the policeman who was on the gate is usually on the ball very quickly if anything untoward happens but even he can’t be in two places at once. The fault lies with the people who act like this. This close contact should be stopped altogether as most people are respectful but you get the likes of that two who spoil it for everyone. Keep the public away from the guards and horses, it’s the only solution.
