Why is it ssooo tempting to touch the reins, get yelled at when you do, and look up at the guard as if to say "you talking to ME"? No one needs to be that up close and personal to a guard and his/her horse while they are working. A simple "thank you" after being in THEIR personal space, would be appropriate. Thank you Abdullah
Couldn’t agree more with you. Tourists really think this is like a zoo at the Household Cavalry. They can do whatever they want. That place is considered like a Private Property Or simply they don’t understand what reins mean. You can clearly see the warning sign. Holding the reins is direspectful. Doesn’t belong to you They’re just bloody ignorants
I’ve been watching your posts for a few months now, and it seems like many of these tourists act like touching the horse is akin to rubbing Buddha’s belly.
You wouldn't walk up to a dog and grab the leash. You wouldn't get in a car and grab the steering wheel. Why would you grab a horse's reins? Common sense and common courtesy aren't so common, I guess.
Nobody seems to have respect for these guys, after all they are working soldiers. Their horses are well trained, but they must get so fed up with the public. WELL DONE Lads.
I have a new appreciation for the phrase, "when in rome....." I understand all cant read english but its easy to see how one should act around these work horses. They are not pets.
3:20 the woman in purple that gets told to get off reins gives a huff of frustration like it was her horse ... sheesh ... how ARROGANT!! Man ... those old women 18:35 just don't like letting go of the reins do they, Guard finally shouted at the one in striped top.
Have these stupid people never seen a horse before, don't they have them in their country, obvious they don't know how to read, bloody big sign on the wall next to them, do they think it does'nt include them?
3:15 - I've watched before how some people seem to strategically maneuver their hand gradually towards touching the reins for a photo but thought it could be coincidental, then her friend immediately afterwards makes a grab for it!! 🙀 3:45 - I suppose that she thought a finger touching the reins didn't count 😡... They all seemed to be from the same group.
People either see the sign as a challenge ,or they are just stupid .The language is not a problem ,as any fool should know not to touch what is almost a steering wheel ,for the rider and horse.
There's a horse with a sign next to it. Even if you don't read English you could ask someone for an explanation. Thank god these people aren't visiting a nuclear missile bunker.
These groups of tourists are usually with a guide, who speaks and understands English perfectly well. The way forward is to ban the guides who fail to advise their groups properly. The guides only concern is to get a big fat tip at the end.
They say ignorance is bliss, this lot are living in perpetual bliss due to their stupid ignorance. Don't they have schools in their countries to educate them how to behave in other countries. Love to see them try it in Middle East, N Korea and Russia, be going home in a box?

Amazing to watch the videos of the Kings guards & their horses. Most tourist don’t even acknowledge the guard or his or her horse. They just walk up to both for a photo and then walk away. The Kings Guard & horse might as well be statues.
The Guards will frequently reply with courtesy and a smile if they are paid the same courtesy. At 11:50 to 12:09 you can see a Father and Son aproach and the Father asks permission to allow is Son to stroke the horse, which he receives and, he thanks the Guard before stepping away.
That father holding girl didn’t have time for young boy. Ghe didn’t want poor kid in picture with girl, seemed to be pushing him to go on other side. ( SICK )
Let’s face it-most people are a waste of breath-rude and disrespectful. Why the need to be so close and up on the horse. Stupid parents let or make their children get right up next to the horse. I wouldn’t last a day as a King’s guard or one if these horses either.
Deberían prohibir tomarse fotos al lado del caballo lo ponen nervioso tanto tocarlo ahí es donde se altera y puede pasar un accidente grave si es que ya ah pasado
Check 3:20 too. Old bat in purple didn't like being told off, huffing and puffing like an old dragon. Wanted to grab her by scruff of the neck and force her to read DON'T TOUCH THE Reins, then ask her why she thought it did'nt apply to her?
Damn, why do these idiots always have to grab the horse's reins? This is a personal affront directed at the rider. Only he holds the reins in his hand and, if necessary, other riders or assistants. I would welcome it if it were finally forbidden to touch the horses at all. You can also take these stupid photos from a distance.
I think subconsciously, you tend to hold onto something, without thinking. Even if you have read a sign saying don't. Got to remember most probably can't read English.
People don't try and hold reins when stood near a police horse ,people generally allow space and show respect , I don't see why they think these horses don't deserve the same respect ?
They only have to ask someone English, one of the police officers for instance, no excuse. They should learn before they arrive, people going to their countries learn before they go, even buy phrase books in other language. If you go to Spain on holiday you will find lots of people trying out their language skills on the locals, like where is the bar, do you have a castle, beach, etc. Everyone from UK make an effort to converse with the locals, why don't non English speakers do the same. they do same when visiting us or other countries. Got translate thing on phones too, no excuse.

The horse and trooper are just seen as a prop for the silly old gits photos. No manners, no respect.

What a lovely young guard. His horse is beautiful. Just a shame that tourists have to keep touching.
I’ve been watching your posts for a few months now, and it seems like many of these tourists act like touching the horse is akin to rubbing Buddha’s belly.
Those two women absolutely clueless. Three times he pulled the reigns from their hands and still they tried to touch them😂
And, the big sign says "Don't touch the Reins." Some people think the rules don't apply to them.
Most likely and it would seem some tourists don’t know what reins mean. Pretty sure of that
@@christophermichaelclarence6003 Yeah, they might be thinking Reigns and not reins. After all, who would try to touch the King...😁

People with working service dogs put up with this all the time. People want to pet and play with them.
@polarbearhero9803 same with police dogs. They are work animals. The K9 officers don't allow it here.
Such a Sweet and Beautiful horse. He's enjoying the attention from the children ❤
Such a sweet natured,snoozy horse
Yes it is! ~ I love all of the horses' different characters. 🐴❤🐴

Purple lady and the one before her are all over the guard too. Incredible. Bet they wouldn't like the guard all over them!

It’s almost like folks have never seen a horse before.
Just AMAZING THESE WORKING GUARDS. ATTENTION TO DETAIL ALWAYS ❤💓🇬🇧🇬🇧
I admire that too!! 👍 I also recognize those traits in my father who was in the Corps of Commissionaires.

@@maureenskelton5828 Yes, they absolutely do. Take a picture of the sign, go into the translator, and it translates it into your own language.
They just want a photo holding the reins, no matter what danger that incurs...
The poor horses. I bet they‘re looking at the vulgus, thinking „what a waste of protoplasm“.
Lol, right on that mate, especially those ignorant old trouts, self entitled lot.

The lady with the short grey hair did. She asked permission to pay the horse. 🇦🇺😊♥️

Must be hot as hell wearing all that kit as temperatures get higher and higher.

Surprised to see some guards speak to visitors

Teenagers are the same worldwide!!!!!!!😏
No way
It was idiot old women who were the worse. Look ar 3:20 and 18:35, old women, not teenagers.

I hope he is not molesting her. She is a bit big to be caarried around. Screams Danger to me.
I saw that too and thought it was weird.
Nobody should be allowed to get near the horse, all those people touching the horses that may be sick could make the horse sick!!!
Years later someone will be looking at their vacation photos and wondering who are those other people in the picture.😅
These people are frantic to take a picture!
Oh yes, the Royal Petting Zoo.sign must have just slipped off the wall!
I would imagine the poor horses don't like it when someone's grabbing and pulling on the reins either. How disrespectful
The older women are the worst! They should know better! Set the example for the young ones. 😡😡😡

All of you that took a picture of yourself touching a horse like it’s a pet and not a military horse. Should be downright ashamed of yourself. ❤
The horse may tolerate you but he does not like you touching him. Stop!
You can see their itchy fingers fumbling to touch the reins.
The tourist are so rude.

I am never watching another video because you say this happened and nothing happened .
I quite agree could do with a bit of editing like losing 99% of the content
There should be a fence to keep tourists away from the guard and his horse or a sign that says don't touch the horse.
