I like to commend the new Corporal of Horses. For being very present and engaging. Especially, when he stands among the crowd. The former Corporal of Horses is clearly missed. I hope he's doing great. In his new position. My favorite stable trooper/Guardsman is in the yard.. He's awesome as well. As far as the rude woman. I'd like to remind her. That being allowed to take a photo. Is not a right but a privilege afforded to all tourists. She should act with some gratitude and decorum. ❤️💂♀️🐴🇬🇧
With little to no immediate guard action the disrespect from tourist just keeps getting worse. Her laughing and reviewing the photo even after the guard approached her shows nothing else matters to her and her group than themselves. Disgraceful.
I would suggest if tourists can’t respect our soldiers and think they are part of Disneyland, they need to think again. Go and be disrespectful in their own country, not here. It isn’t a right but a privilege they are being given. Disgraceful behaviour.

A lot of very disrespectful people at Horse Guards have been British. There was "Karen" from Yorkshire who spent weeks harassing the Troopers and horses. There is Kenny shouting his mouth off and upsetting the horses. There was a family who went from Chitsman to Boxman deliberately trying to get the Troopers to shout at them - the mother encouraging who son to touch the reins. Then there are the drunks who hang about and annoy the Troopers and horses and a number of other incidents. Many of us on RUclips have more respect for these young men and women than their own countrymen/women do.

If he chooses to engage with attractive young ladys he only has to say it was during the course of his duty. I'm an ex foot guard, in my day you had to be very discreet if you wanted to get away with chatting on stag, but it was possible, but 99% of the time you just ignored everyone.

They are in constant contact through earpieces connected to the Guards room where the cctv is viewed for any incidents of potential threats to safety both of the public and the area . They can and do order people to leave the courtyard and have detained suspected pickpockets .
Why do the officers do nothing other than the tall officer with the reddish colored beard and mustache and the female officer? All they do is stand around together and talk.
Looks like they started making some improvements with adding a "Do not touch the horses" sign that people of all languages can understand, Maybe add some braille! 😂 They need to make it the size of the entire wall so everyone can see it! Or place 1 on both sides😂 of each box!
