Sadly, we are less focused on cows these days and are leaning more towards experiments dealing with animals of the avian and canine variety. Perhaps if you submit a video dealing with your work regarding those types of creatures, we can review your application again. Ellen is right! You can't start doing Christmas things until it's Advent at least! Halloween is at the end of October because the 1st of November is All Saints' Day, and Halloween is All Hallows' Eve.

@@JachAnen very true mate but recently they have made the type of role-playing games I like I'm not really into the tiny figures RPG plus I don't read very well prom a screen or at speed so so lots of those games I ruled out for me sad but true I didn't it only be able to go for triple A Games with the lot of voiced dialogue. when I do come across an RPG doesn't rely too heavily on text I always try and support it.
Mind you im getting really into point and Click adventure games again there seems to be a lot of them on my Xbox at the moment just finished Broken Sword 5 love those games

But I won't be playing it or anthem for exactly that reason I've never had good experiences with multiplayer a few times I've entered I've always been bullied for being rubbish even when you enter like the basic level where everyone should just be learning how to do it. When I say big bullied let's just say they may be attempt and eventually I got bored wandered off to do something better it didn't really dent my self-worth or anything just put me off playing with people online.
The reason why I made my comment is I think it's important for people to remind the world at large but not everyone likes the same things and lot of company seem to be going down the multiplayer games as service route and I just thought if I made a comment someone might see it you never know right?

@@wheelyjon Well, games as service is pretty much the only way to do titles that aren't one-and-done releases. ANY game that has continuing development needs continuing cash flow. Devs have to eat, it's just that simple. If Skyrim(for example) didn't have mods a lot of people would probably have gotten bored of it by now.
Heh, I often make an effort to explain to players how they're doing things wrong. I'm usually polite about it. the last time someone got on my nerves it was a guy who was simultaneously bragging about how good he was at PVP and how quickly he go thrashed by an open-world event boss. I tried helping him, but.... he just couldn't hear anyone advice over the sound of his own ego.

Luke is right, it's perfectly ok to celebrate christmas in November. Mince pies, tinsel, decorating your tree and it's just smart to already have your presents bought.

i myself accidentally purchase gifts for people throughout the year, forget i have done so, purchase further gifts during all the November sales, find the earlier gifts, and then shrug because NEXT YEAR'S GIFTS SORTED!

Luke's cry of "I'm old" reminded me of back to the future and now I wish I had the artistic talent to do fan-art of the OX family as characters from Back to the future, Ellen as Marty, Andy as Doc Brown, Luke as Jenifer, Jane as the various members of the Tannen family with Mike as Einstein the dog(driving the time machine).
No one knows the plight of us December babies! Not quite as well thought out birthday presents or combined Christmas/birthday presents that aren't quite as good as separate ones! Our day is important as well!
My birthday is the 22nd, and two of my sisters also have December birthdays. Clearly my parents have a thing for purposefully conceiving at a set time of year.
On the other hand, Annie Lennox has her birthday on Christmas Day, so we share our birth month with a really important person. There may be another important person who has a birthday in December, but I can't think of anyone, can you?

@@Djw2320 *puts on historian hat* not only was the person later known as Jesus (that name is an anglicised form of his original name - recall that he was jewish) born approximately three years before/after his approximated birth year, religious and other academics have long since reached a consensus that the celebration of Jesus's birthday near the solstice is a later practice used to disguise festivities from disapproving eyes & that his actual birthday was much earlier in the year (conclusions drawn based on the geography, travelling limitations, & climate of the time period in which he was born).
christmas as a birthday party for jesus is basically an older version of celebrating Queens Elizabeth II/Beyonce birthdays during Queen's Birthday when their actual birthdays are at other times. it's an effort at practicality for the general public rather than a literal birthday party. *takes off history hat and hopes for someone with a Remembers Numeral Dates Hat comes along to fill in her gaps*

the creepy owl is actually the sage of light who gives you the light medallion. also, there are 6 temples but you only fight in 5 of them. the place where the master sword is kept is the temple of light which is where the owl dude gives you the light medallion. also where gannondorf princessnaps zelda after she gives you the light arrows. everything around that place is sort of lightly sprinkled in to the story but is massively important to the plot. lol

I'm currently in the middle of my first ever ocarina of time play through, (currently just went forward in time to adult link for the first time) it is still an amazing game despite its age.

I remember a story some years ago of a guy that celebrated Christmas each day all year round. Wrapping paper was supposedly in place of wallpaper on his walls
november is for preparing for christmas! you cant start celebrating until youve panickingly bought all the major presents and worked out which family members youre spending the day with XD then, by december, you can relax and get the tinsel out!
We don't put up the tree and decorations until Christmas Eve in our house. Then they stay up until 12th night. It helps keep the 12 days of Christmas special.
I mean i cant image Super Smash being anywhere near as friendship ending as that last game of Mario Party so maybe it will be easy to get everyone to play with you Luke
God I now officially feel old! 20 years that's not allowed. I will be having a sleepover with my best friend at the time I brought over there N64 and we ended up playing Ocarina of Time right from the beginning or rather he played it and I watched it( this is before I got into video games myself it was basically like chicken TV show back then - says the man watching a show about video games on the internet lol). Even though he just completed it.
My birthday is the first week in January and that always gets overlooked or lumped in with Christmas and New Years.

Isn't the default response to someone lamenting having a birthday in December that it's obviously proof that Xmas is a month long celebration? Obviously, they are a gift bestowed upon the world.
Mine's on the 20th, and definitely an enhancement. Especially since in NZ it's summer and the rellies would fly over! CHRISTMAS!!!!

Dec 25th b-day here. Totally Team Ellen here. I don't decorate for Christmas until after 7:10am on Dec 25. Decorations come down NYD usually around 12:15am, unless I'm too trashed then it's as I'm hungover later that afternoon.

Try celebrating Christmas in July like some segments of retailing like to do. Also, my older brother and one of my nephews have December birthdays- they got their 'birthday' gifts on Dec 25 in most years...

My family is huge on grouped birthdays. My mom and stepdad are both December babies, while my nephew and brother-in-law both have birthdays within a week of each other....and that's also right near the anniversary of said brother-in-law. It's just me, my sister, my neice, and my dad who have single-standing birthdays.
Sure I'll happily go with Halloween being pushed back to May but only if it then run through to October 31st
Best way to introduce someone who has no idea what the hell they're doing with smash bros? 1v1 no items, with you not being a jerk. Give them basic controls, teach them how to attack, smash, jump, special, shield, dash. Then throw them in a match with another person who has no idea what they're doing, and ask them to teach the other person. (Best way to learn is to teach someone else; second best way is to be taught by someone who only has a vague idea of what they're doing but gives you a free sandbox to actually do experiments in)
Come back a couple of matches in and ask if they're up for trying a bigger match. If you're actually *good* at the game (ie: are completely unfairly dominating every match), set it up such that they're on a team against you or give yourself a negative handicap point or two (assuming they still have that system - last I saw that was Melee). Don't give the newbies positive handicap points, though, they need to get used to what those damage numbers mean, and the handicap system skews that.
Once they're actually able to keep track of their own character in a match with at least 3 contenders, then you can bring in items. Or not. Depends on if you want to play with them.
Ellen pronounced Navi like a southerner! 12:06 She says Navi like nar-vee, rather than na-vee. There's no R! I didn't even realise that was one of those words we say differently. Also Luke pronounces Gerudo different to me - I say Geh- roo-doh, he says Jeh-roo-du (20:53). I know I'm not wrong on that one at least, because its said out loud in BOTW. Besides getting sidetracked by your pronunciations, I very much enjoyed this particular Show of the Weekend :-)
A) I'm with Ellen, Christmas should not be celebrated in November. In fact Maybe just for two days in December, the 24th and 25th... The only exception I will make to this is the Christmas challenges you guys do.

The result of translating "laughter keeps the panic away" (since "at bay" leaves the opening for marine intrusions) using google translate into latin and back into english until they converged on a constant phrase.

"Risus resisto terrore" at least gives individual words (mostly) that don't back-translate into other words in an extending change of subtly altered meaning. Risus is laughter, resisto is a possible translation of stops, with the context of resisting, which seems to apply here. "Terrore" is panic. (Oddly, not terror).
As for the order of words in that sentence, that's up to someone who knows latin grammar to decide. I'm just a bloke with too much free time and a computerized translator.
I feel Your pain Ellen. I may not have a winter birthday but I do work American retail. My coworkers were setting up Christmas displays on October 31. Oh the Christmas music, so much Christmas music. Not even the good Christmas music but really bad generic knockoffs. It's soul crushing.

Of the entire team, I would have guessed that Ellen would have been the most excited about Christmas and down to celebrate early. But I guess Luke makes just as much sense.
Keep Christmas in December! Also don't take all your decorations down on boxing day (like my sister-in-law). December the 1st til 12 days after Christmas. That's a good chunk of time, and keeps it special.
