It's the weekend! We've tried some exercise on the Ring Con, and with Halloween just around the corner we look at the upcoming ghost-filled Luigi's Mansion 3...! 👻
@@pretergeek I feel like one of these days Ellen should do a true/false Ellening in which it looks like the answer would be all either true or false, but then having it veer off with the last answer being the opposite of the rest. It would be a double Ellening, with the first occurring as she reveals the line of one truth after another, then a second Ellening all it's own as she reveals the twist at the end.
Luke thinking there were no Boos and discovering to his horror that they were all terribly real is perhaps the Greatest Ellening of all time. I don't know what the online equivalent of a standing o is, but you may just have painted your masterpiece.
8:33 "It's got good balance" To whoever edited this video, that is some next-level editing and I want you to know that your hard work/perfect pun did not go unnoticed! ;)
5:27 Luke: “And it doesn’t mind you pulling and squeezing it!” Ellen: “No!” *one second before realization hits* Luke & Ellen: *burst out laughing like schoolchildren*
Senpai noticed me! Or more specifically my art! No angry paladins were hurt in the making of this print. The printing press is actually completely silent, you turn it by hand with a wheel, just like the printing presses of old.
I honestly think this is one of the most enjoyable channels to watch at the moment - Ellen and Luke look like they are having a great time together! Question for Ellen - how does your arachnophobia feel about working with Farrantula? Whenever I picture that, I see Andy's torso on a giant tarantula body... But then I picture it with Andy wearing his safety beanie and singing a scared song, and it's all okay again!
I stayed in the La Fonda in Taos once in the room that belonged to one of the former owner Saki Karavas. I smelt the cherry scented tobacco that he was said to have smoked. A good owner always cares about his guests. After viewing the hotel's collection of rather racy DH Lawrence paintings which can only be viewed by request, on my way out of town the next day, I stopped by a cemetery to wander around a bit and happened on his grave. So I thanked him for a wonderful stay. I hate to think how Luke would have handled this.
Not exactly a terrible hotel experience, but I was sharing a room while staying in a nice hotel in Rome and we kept asking them for a second sheet for covers because it was a double bed with just the one and they kept ignoring us and fourth time I went down the lady asked very nicely "what does you and your husband need it for?" and I stared blankly at her and said "he's not my husband... he's my brother" "oh!" We got a sheet immediately, but gees, should it have mattered?
Always loved the original Luigi's Mansion. It somehow managed to perfectly capture the atmosphere of a horror game whilst still retaining the silliness and whimsy of a Nintendo game.
My favorite thing about the Wii Sports franchise was that screen in Wii Sports Resort (I think) where it was telling you to actually go outside occasionally and there was an illustration of an unattended Wii Remote sitting on a table next to an open window with curtains billowing and basically it looked like a kidnapping had just taken place.
‘But the hardest one to capture was the ghost of my own shame’ Same here. It took me two full years to finally capture the ghost of my shame, only to accidentally release it at my last birthday party.
I can't help to notice that Luigi mansions and hotels keep getting higher and higher. I guess Luigi just brought a new scope for his sniper rifle and wants to test it? No one is safe
It's always interesting to see how other lefties handle writing on a dry erase board, Luke writes from below and I write from above, neat! Da Vinci meanwhile just mirrored all the letters and words 😆
I love how Nintendo sets up a very tasteful and not-messy living room for people to play in. I'd like one of these demo spaces to be full of empty glasses, piles magazines, all the furniture askew, etc.
My issue is that a lot of the hotels like to give sweet little upgrades to people who arrive early for check in - mostly they’ll upgrade you to a bigger room if there’s one unbooked, or they’ll boost the bed size, etc. So it’s all well and good sitting and listening, but I challenge even Luke Westaway to sit in a room triple the size of the one he paid for, given to him in kindness, awkwardly going “.... I’m gonna listen just in case” 😂😂😂
Luke, I work in housekeeping in a hotel. Whenever guests ask to be moved into a different room, it is a HUGE relief to have a clean room to freshen up. Most people have usually sat on the bed, eaten the biscuits and left a mess in the bathroom!! 💩💩
When I was 11 me and my 20 year old brother were staying in a hotel in Bristol, we'd arrived at noon and only had a backpack each for luggage so we didn't bother going to our room until night, the key worked, but the door had the chain lock, since I had the smaller hands I tried to unlock it, then a hand came out of the half open door and grabbed my wrist!... long story short they had sent us to a ocupied room. The good news is my brother told the story of how shaken I was because of that so well they didn't charge us for our stay
This made me go back and watch the Mario Party live stream to see Andy at the end. Andy:"You see, you see I had to counteract it!" Ellen: still wins Andy: "THIS GOD DAMN GAME"
That was the most intricate and complex ellening I've ever seen, I dont know how you're going to top using what you did. Bravo Ellen, Bravo. PS; Luke, you've got bam-boo-zle.

The fact that you didn't end this video by saying "nite-night" is a true travesty.
When's the next Oxventure? I just binged the lot and need MOREEE!
Luke, One Gooigi please, hold the onions.
😶Ring Fit adventure looks interesting. Luigi's Mansion 3 a gem 😃 spooky fun🎃👻
I love that the Ghost Luke shouted "I'm a normal adult man!"
I had to slow it down to understand it but I loved that detail too.
Time to go rewatch Yoshette again and see the exact moment Luke's shame dies....
Absolutely lost it laughing at that. My housemates are probably very concerned.
Luke: "This was made with a printing press."
Ellen: "That's im-press-ive."
That subtle pun....
“Where’d you get that skull?”
He controls an army of skeletons, Ellen
And there is Jane's lab to think about too.
'S orphans Boss.
I don't think the skull was from the skeleton builders there was not a trail of orphan blood leading to it so it is probably just one of Jane's.
is this how Ellen get revenge on Luke for being made to look at spiders, with top tier Ellening with a whiteboard
@Icam here
It is now, if it wasn't before
Luke: it was made with a printing press
Ellen: that's inPRESSive
*Luke's no reaction*
Was that low key revenge for Ellen missing your sinus pun.
Ellen explaining what boolean means to Luke holding a true or false table.
I'm an engineer. This pleased me.
True
I expected Boolean to be made up just because Ellen and coding jokes.

Italian hoteliers always know better than you.
As soon as the second ghost name, my immediate thought was "they MUST be all true. It's an Ellenning! RUN FOR THE HILLS, LUKE!"
The Ellening has returned!
And Luke is clearly furious about it!
Furious that he got got, I'd say 😉
I literally just kept rewinding a few seconds to hear the ghost of Luke's shame over and over again.
