I've gone back to listen to Stu's coverage of previous pursuits. Two of my favs are the guy who jacked 3 cars and also the Cow pursuit, 2 of the Best of Stu!!!
The last time I watched an L.A. car chase, the female driver died when she lost control of her speeding vehicle, went off the road and crashed into the overpass abutment.
It was a great chase. Your comments make my day. Always enjoying when you on line :) Other camera men usually stuck on the car. instead of showing panoramic image. which is boring
At 14:13 if you look in the over the wall in the back yard it looks like someone is moving and is pointing what appears to be a weapon towards the wall. Hard to tell with the location marker partially blocking it. Slow the speed down on the replay to .25 and it helps.
One of those CHP officers was probably thinking FML! When he saw that car coming the wrong way down the freeway shoulder. Guy has probably been working on regular patrol for a week and was hyped when he got assigned to escort Caltrans thinking he was going to chill in his car all day. Now he's running up an embankment chasing a nut case at gun point, followed by hours of paperwork 😩
He could have escaped when he went the wrong way on the freeway ramp. He should just ditch the car. There were no police cars behind him at that point.
