The most annoying enemy mentioned (to me at least )it’s gonna be the striders mainly because their laser damage is insane but the fact they can snipe you and they’re always I mean always aiming above chest level now that they have rockets, they’re gonna be even more oppressive
I just hope all the new anti-tank enemies won't slow the game down too much, considering how many heavy armor enemies are already in Difficulty 9
yeah there are alot more heavies coming. I actually prefer big enemies over alot of little ones, I just hope they repeat the June patch and buff some of the weapons they previously nerfed.
@Myder_Dragon I think the railgun doesn't need that big of a buff. But I think it should get a Armor Piercing buff not a damage buff

there are definitely not dropping the illumnate right now but the update is going to be great either way, sounds like alota new stratagems for us
dude they lost players coz of what Sony did. Period
Its not coz of the game losing its players for it's quality.
And every single Live Service game has dips coz people rise up when updates pop and roll out to other games, be it deep rock etc.
you can look at the steam charts and it barley made dent. it was just the nerfs and the lack of content after a while
Sony for sure made a dent, but there was a build up of community frustration by that point as well.
The devs have a chance to turn all that around with quality content.

I'm really hoping this update revives the game because at this point you don't have a choice on what planet you play on, its either you play on a planet where you're guaranteed to get a full squad, or you play on a planet where its hard to even get a single squad mate.
My problem with this game is that every single suggestion from any person is better than what is actually implemented into the game
Ive heard it all, scuba tanks, night vision you name it.
But we get given more ways to die and a slap on the wrist for surviving
It'll go up and down just like every other video game. There will be an initial wave of people checking out the release, maintain this over a few days, and then fall back down to regular once people have unlocked everything.
Sorry but I don't get the hype ppl have with the illuminate, most of the player base hates bots and the illuminate are even "worse", the only time the illuminate sector will actually have active players on it will be the first week, when it's new and fresh, after that, since the illuminate can shoot back, everyone will go back to bugs (which i don't mind, play how you wish) just saying the illuminate are not gonna be this god sent that "saves" the game
People like the idea of a completely new faction. I like rotating between the bots and bugs so now I'll have a third option.
I still play every day and have lots of fun sqaudding with people from Facebook groups or randoms that ive friended for being cool. Very excited for the new stuff.
I really like this game, but my other DC group of players only complain about not adding new weapons

That part really does suck and there's nothing Arrowhead can do about that. Sony is a huge reason this game is suffering. I'm holding out hope that they stop being stupid.
However people from those countries who bought the game can still play Helldiver. Its just that no new players can buy it.
Hard to save a game that isn't dead and has a consistent player base like any other live service title.

Its lost 90% of its players because of bad updates and bad Sony stuff. So yes, you are right: Helldivers is dying and hopefully this update will revert it.

@@Ducktor I agree that a lot of the player base has left due to sony stuff and bugs. But the game was never supposed to be that big, they expected a community similar to HD1. Most of the people leaving, are just leaving the hype train, leaving the core dedicated player base remaining, which will give the most relevant feedback and suggestions. The clickbaity thumbnails of exaggerated data mines that were never meant to be seen, hasn't helped in pushing the player's expectations beyond reasonable.

Sure the update will come but the game still will be broken. Flamethrower is still useless cuz of not anti-fire armor. The nerfs of weapons still stay here and the enemies dont change.
The mindset of devs of balancing the game like its a PVP game is just not good. I love my 50 hours of HD2 and now im sick of this game and will not come back.
Anti-fire armor would be nice. However I disagree its useless, its amazing for bug to kill hoards and go though charger armor.
Agreed on the pointless weapon nerfs. June patch buffed alot of stuff and I hope to see more.
@@Myder_Dragon The fire damage buff couple of months only made so the Hulk with flamethrower can kill you in 0.1 sec.
Also in the new major update there was nothing like "Hmm this will be something new" "Hmmm i would want to play that"

0:57 They’re not milking anyone for anything lmao they’re doing the opposite by not wasting dev time with tons of paid cosmetics instead of fixing core issues. Just take a break from the game and have a life then come back every two weeks or so and it’ll get better every time you return.
